pirate train - Reverend Del - 06-13-2008 The Pirate Train is a good transport for transporting unlawful stuff. It's practically immobile as most of the really big transports are, but it's plenty big enough to turn a profit. pirate train - Robert.Fitzgerald - 06-13-2008 Primarily, you should use the Pirate Train with a smuggler or another "unlawful" id. A Trader ID doesn't really cut it, as it just looks like a trader getting a cheaper vessel until Adv. Train. It's great for smuggling though! pirate train - hachebe - 06-13-2008 i dont wantto be unlawful i just want to have like u say a cheaper ship untill the adv train will ppl really attack mejust for being in a pirate train ? pirate train - Teknikal - 06-13-2008 Pirate train is basicly exactly what it says a train for pirates and trading between unlawful bases you will get a lot of problems if you try to land on lawful planets with it. About the closest legal match cargo wise I can think of would be the whale I'd look into that one as a temporary vessel until you get the advanced train. pirate train - Robert.Fitzgerald - 06-14-2008 The thing is, it is metagaming to just buy the Pirate Train until the Adv. Train just because it is cheap. Why would a lawful trader buy an unlawful vessel? He/she doesn't have access to a Discovery Readme to find the ships, so he/she would likely go for a lawful ship (Train, Whale etc). pirate train - sn!p3r - 06-14-2008 Pirate trading ships.. *remembers the day at cortez jumpgate, california* Lets just say.. a group of trains/transports can wipe out a small group of lawfuls. |
