You'll be able to find your conversations in there - IF you have your options set correctly. Specifically -logappend on - because otherwise every time you open Freelancer, it starts a new DSAce session and wipes the old one.

And clean the garbage out. The key thing is that the Keepers were a group mind. After the massive destruction of Toledo, the K'Hara are not necessarily a group mind anymore - they can be individuals. And suddenly finding themselves as completely separate entities can be frightening, empowering, scary, and lonely. Basically imagine a race of telepaths, always knowing what each other was thinking. Then suddenly, after a lifetime, you're cut off from everyone else.
