Evan Cooper is a refugee from Leeds. He is a good marksman and a excellent mechanic. Nobody is able to hold a candle to him when it comes to dealing with the wrench. This made it really easy for him to find a job as a mechanic in a workshop, in one of the refugees district. He even managed to get his best friend Jeff a job in the Workshop.
When the Gallic Royal Navy rolled over Leeds Evan nearly lost everything, his ship, his home, his family, his planet. The only thing that remained to him were some Credits and his best friend Jeff.
It is now a month after his arrivel in the districs and he is working on an engine in the Workshop as Jeff comes in with a datapad in his hand
Jeff: "Hey Evan, look at this crap...."
Jeff holds up the datapad. Evan wipes his oil-stained hands on his pants off and takes the datapad befor reading the letter from the District 178 Arrivals terminal Administration
Evan: "Citizens of the district bla bla bla... due to a system failure in the archives we lost information about the people bla bla bla.... We ask all citizens of the Mechanical District to head immediately over to District 178 and confirm your residence permit..... Really?... did someone spill his lemonade over the archive servers? Great... now i can spend my whole day there. Jeff can you sign me off i will head to there now"
He sighs and cleans his hands in the sink befor he walks out and takes a shuttle to the District 178.
As he gets out of the shuttle he sees the crowd of people. He walks to the Terminals and takes a form and starts to fill in it.

He gives the form back and for the question about his ship he says "I lost everything when the attack on Leeds started.... but i live in a discarded Junker Salvage. Maybe i can make it operational again or at least build something like a Ramshackle vessels out of its spare parts. With a bit spit and ingenuity everything is possible" He turns around, walks back to the shuttles and gets into one "I need a coffee..." The shuttle takes off and heads back to his District

The radio operator notices that the transmission system works again, meanwhile the district citizents are quite prepared for the daily routine necessary to live in the open space, those "ion rains" that are present at New London system still manage to destabilize the internal electronic systems time to time
This is Floating district 178, I repeat, this is Floating district 178. A heavy ion storm will hit us in two hours. We already are suffering from it presence. It is requested to all ship at the orbit to dock. Those who have come for the first time proceed to Hangar 3. Lancaster, thanks for the support I guess I owe you a cold beer *smiles*?

Evan Cooper! ... We still have your last dock entry recorded, I heard that the server has lost some citizens data, cross your fingers so you don't have to do the paperwork again, there's a mess right now. In any case this is for newcomers so feel free to head to the corridor.
