We have a port that's willing to house the ship while we make repairs, thankfully. Richard Prior knows a man who owns a station and got me in touch with him. Mr. Prior also managed to reinforce the breach to the point where we can survive jumps, though combat is still iffy.
The man who owns the station, Mr. Denny Lampkin, asked us to meet him in New York. He'll escort us the rest of the way to the station.

After a short jaunt into the depths of the Edge Worlds, we're finally in a position to get started on the serious repairs. I don't know how long it will take, but I do know we're going to need quite a few hull panels. Hopefully this base has enough for us, otherwise we're going to need to order some.

Mr. Lampkins lent me a transport to move some supplies to the base to help with the resources La Villa Strangiato is eating up, and also to show my appreciation. By any report, Mr. Prior says we should be good for extended flight and open combat within the next day. A lot of people around the station have been pitching in to help. I'm going to ask Mr. Lampkins about making this our home port (though we do wander far afield), and I'm also making a note to pay him back for the trouble once we're back on our feet.
The only things missing now are the rest of my crew and the bloody cloaking device. I'll hit up a couple of Freeports to gather a new crew, I've given up searching for the old one. The cloaking device, well... we'll play that one by ear. Need some money first before we can do anything.

We encountered a rather unusual 'convoy' today. There were four Samura transports that jumped into Sigma 13 from the Honshu jump hole. We got them at the jump hole, and they all angled off towards where there was no known base or jump hole.
They silently refused our demand for credits, so we destroyed them all rather easily. They didn't even resist.
Curious, I continued along their trajectory and found a base. It shot at us, so we backed off. If those yokels are supplying it, though... there must be some money to be made here.
