Have received reports of ELF pressence in Cambridge and several other Bretonian systems with taunts but no action. As such since it is unsure whether they actually pose a threat, I have reduced their threat level to unfriendly. Treat with caution, if they attack friendly vessels move to intercept, but if they continue to just taunt without opening fire, ignore their pressence and avoid being pulled out of position on a wild goose chase.

Trainee Koolmo here, I had a small question about weapons: Are nomad weapons of any type permitted, and if so, why? It seems rather counterproductive to fight the nomad excursion so fiercely, and then use tainted and possibly dangerous weapons, especially after the recent Cambridge Incident. This Question is directed at both the SF and RCG leadership. Thank you for your consideration.

A F.E.A.R ship was destroyed today for refusing to drop goverment pilots
but he opened fire, so I killed him.
An ELF ship opened fire on a SF fighter so I came to the rescue and
saved both the SF pilot and the captured pilots.
Later the same day: 2 LD.inc bombers was vaporized without breaking a sweat,
I killed one of them 3 times before he left and the first one ran after I
scrapped his ship the first time.
They were smuggling cardamine and had police pilots in thier cargo.
(They got me once when I stood still while waiting for response...)

This is Captain Quercer reporting,
Late last night, the Cricket, which was present in Cambridge on a little R n' R from the Kusari front, came upon two London Drugs Inc. ships. Transmitting the frequencies Kingping.Raider and Slagheap, I engaged them after they refused to state their business in system and insulted me. Both were destroyed, however I did not have the time to look for the eject pods because an unidentified ELF ship engaged me and caused critical damage, forcing us to run and dock with Planet Cambridge.
It is my belief that these self-styled smugglers and hit-men are a real threat to Bretonian security. We should station ships in New London, seeing as they operate mostly in that system. The Cricket is ready to do so if deemed proper by the High Command.
The Cricket is currently undergoing refit and massive repairs at Southampton shipyard as the ELF ship nearly penetrated the ship's reactor core.

I'll justify its use this way:
Now I can't add a weapon to the mod, but who's to say that I can't view the Nomad Cannons/Blasters used by the SF as a weapon developed by CRI based on Nomad tech.
Plus for an example of where technology belonging to an enemy is incorporated into a ship look at Star Trek Voyager, they kept some borg improvements and technology they aquired but ensured there was no risk to the ship. Who's to say that's not the case here.
If someone has a problem with this justification, so be it...you're not forced to use nomad weapons. But there are enough rules and regs, and I'm extremely reluctant to impose any sort of weapon restriction since they are recoverable from any destroyed craft, and thus can be justifiably used based on that.

K, in view of last reports looks like a case of some ELF are more hostile then others. So lets place ELF back to hostile status (they're in Cambridge order them out, no reply open fire). But samething, if a hostile craft is taunting but not engaging don't get provoked into a pointless chase. I appreciate members who can think and aren't completely mindless to instructions.
Can I have a situation report from Hilda Gabriel on the current state of affairs in the clean-up and medical effort?
On another note, welcome another new trainee to the SF, 350z.
If this keeps up i'll either be drunk or broke, :crazy: ...first round's on me.

SFMF-Horizon is completely set-up. It carries no weapons. Additionally, the contamination of SF vessels is now no worry as CRI has developed a cure for the infections and diseases created by the Nomad ship.
On another note, 350z may need some help with RP. I explained the general concept to him, but I hope that the SF will help him to fully realize the potential with his RP. Just be patient.
Finally, I think I got the first round (check my last post), so that means that the Admiral and Lieutenant get second and third :P

Admiral Firebird, you requested a status report, so here it is:
Current casualties on Cambridge are very high can currently mounting. The clean-up is going very well, very quickly, and I hope to get into regular reconstruction by next week. We need more police forces to be sent from other planets due to the extreme amount of looters. Three tried to rob the command post the other day and were arrested by Cambridge Police.
On the medical side, current major trauma and/or infectious diseases victims are being sent to the medical ships orbiting for treatment. The lesser injures are being treated by doctors here on Cambridge. Chief medical officer Malcom Gecks of SFMF-Horizon has given quite a few reports to us here on the planet.
"All safety precausions are being treated with the utmost respect. No patient can be treated without the medical personnel being in very advanced environmental suits. The cure has been developed, thus we are able to have doctors treat patients without these suits, and all of those coming in are given the treatment.
Regardless of this, heavy casualties have been sustained. We currently have a count at 750 million major trauma cases and 2 billion minor injury cases. The majority of the cases involve multiple system organ injury, and head trauma. All departments on board the vessels and in the hospitals have been overrun with patients. More aid is always needed, and I have confirmed reports of liberty sending a medical ship to assist."
These reports were from last night, and I hope to have more of the situation under control within the week. However, the lasting damage from this will be very severe, and possibly permanent. Already, the most brilliant genetic engineers have been called in from across Sirius to help the wheat harvest.

The SF battleship Seagate came to assist, it took some damage
during the fight, the HF bomber fled the battle leaving the Helghast
leader behind, a Liberty Cruiser joined the fight when the
Helghast ship tried to flee but failed and became scrap metal
which was sent to Trafalgar, the Junker base.
