Dinner aboard the Neith - [Cerberus] Illusive Man - 02-13-2011
A voice could be heard on Dave's portable Cerberus XtraNet pad, the voice of Jack Aubrey, that previously left the dinner due to severe injuries after the battle of Omicron 92.
Dave, well. I have bad news. Seems like someone put a bounty on my head, and it is better if I lay down for a while. You'll find me on Planet Gran Canaria, you know where pal. You are hereby in charge of Cerberus for time being. This is all.
The communication immediately ceased, with a long static sound that went on until Dave closed his pad.

Ellie smiled.
"I'm not going to cook you into stew Dave. Relax." She giggled. "Why so uptight? Your doing fine so far. And that wasnt unpleasant. Unpleasant is when you get shot at by tge Navy for no reason, then kicked out of Liberty for being Jeremy's sister." She giggles. "And forming complete sentences isa good thing."
She grins at him.

Dave was releaved when he heard what Ellie said to him and was amused of her statements regarding the Navy.
"Oh hahaa... indeed, Navy suffers from the great "Liberty paranoia" syndrome as I call it, and why uptight.. well... I never talked to a beautiful women like you from almost 9 years... *he then looked a bit upset* .. since .. well *he took Ellie's hand* ... I've lost...
But the moment was disturbed by the HoloComm's transmission, apparently was Jack. When he heard what he had to say to Dave, regarding his severe injuries and the huge bounty on his head, he knew that he will go for good almost... and he will be difficult to trace, but Dave knew where to find him. He was rather shocked, and when the transmission ended.. he dropped the device on the sofa... and looked at Ellie with a serious look, he took the necklace and he watched for some seconds the shiny "CERBERUS" insignia, then moved his look again to Morrigan and Michal... the he returned to Ellie.
"I guess... here it all starts..."
He stood and looked into her eyes, then he continued...
"It's very incredible how this moment arrived when you gave me the necklace... like I need to have this emblem to show that I now lead a great and powerful faction... I am unique among the others... I think its more powerful than I can even imagine."
He then looked to Ellie with a glare of trust and with a beautiful smile...

Eliie gave a,shy smile.
"I just meant it as a gift, one as unique as the one you gave me." Her smile became a bit stronger. "Sounds like You're the head honcho of Cerberus now. Dont run it into the ground, got it?" Ellie smiles at him michevoisly.

Dave smiled with a sign of approval.
"Indeed I will need to be very carefully, but since I have the best men in the organization, I don't think It will happen something bad. And regarding the gift, "small things can be part of greater causes", but a small thing like this is very pretious to me."
Dave smiled again with his neverendless charm...

"Oh excuse me respected madam of Cerberus, Morrigan Black, let me rephrase it.."I have the best operatives alongside me including womens ! "
Then he smiled and looked back to Ellie.

Ellie,looks at Dave.
Deadpan, she says "Before doing anything else, work on your grammar."
A few seconds later, she laughs at him, then quiets down. She smiles at him sweetly.

Dave looks a bit embarassed but he continues..
"Ahh, so you are really carrefully with what I say ehh ? *small laughs* but anyway I am from Liberty, and lived also in Bretonia, this combination is dangerous *small laughs* .. "
He looks again into Ellie's eyes with his beautiful charm, but suddenly, like he remembered something, he looks very sad at the window behind them into the depth of space. He was a little bit unpatient, and started to think...
Then with his serious look said to Ellie..
"Remember when I told you that ... I've lost someone ? I only told Jack about this, no one else knows about this part of my life..."

"I knew my father for five years. He was killed before I exited cryosleep. Thats why Jeremy joined the Order. Then mom disappeared in 814, before we exited cryo again. We just got her back."
Ellie takes Dave's in botg of hers. "What happened?"
