DD gives his boss a funny look. The sort of funny look one gives his breakfast cereal, when instead of cereal coming from the box he gets unprocessed wheat.
He thinks to himself "Is he trying to say as little as he can, with as many words as he can?"
He takes his hand and physically wipes most of the expression from his face, leaving behind only a thin film of confusion.
"Uhh, well . . ." He realizes he has nothing to say to Robert, and simply stops trying to speak.
Hearing Mr. Oshiro comment about Robert.
"Ahh, yes. This man is my boss." It sounds like he wanted to say much more than that, but is obviously deferring to his boss for now.

" The same party, you say, monsieur? " He inquired while staring straight at DD, trying to fake a grin as he was reluctant to find his next words.
At the same moment, he was analyzing DD from toes to head and vice versa.
" On the contrary, monsieur... " he said, lifting his right hand in the air, pointer finger streched
" I find him to had been a Republican, monsieur, while I was a Regalist " he said as a subtle, polite smile cut his face as he was trying to spearhead a political joke.
A short pause commenced as Robert took a break from his obviously satirically-filled speech to allow the focus of the attention down at DD, as courtesy requires.
Hearing what he said, he decided to resume what his ideas by adding his own... personalized parts
But, oui, monsieur. Since such trivialities as predetermined origins, nationalities and above all: Political affinities possess a staunch insignificance to the life of a zoner, such traits are no longer taken in consideration.
That being said, I truly happen to be the, what he may improperly call: "boss" , of our petit conversation partner with whom I'm certain you had a benevolent pleasure of speaking with. Though I must admit that I would prefer a more... refined and civilized term such as "Head Councilor"
He then reserved a short moment of breath before resuming what he had to say.
" But where are my manners now ? " he addressed a rhetorical query as his faced tried to fake a threatrical surprise
" Allow me, s'il vous plait, the privilege of presenting myself: My name is Robert d'Autoine, and I am Head Councilor of the Commonwealth " he said, making a short, subtle bow. A testimony not of servitude, but of courtesy. A common, gallant way of accompanying a introduction, typical to regalists
" And to whom may I have the finespun honour of conversing with, monsieur ? " he inquired, politely as his head shortly tilted upwards.

The man greatfully recieves the glass that was placed infront of him.
"There you go, man. What brings you here?"
"Oh, you are wonderful, thank you very much." Quickly taking the glass, holding it in the air slightly with a nod, and takes a gulp of it, quickly setting it back down again.
"Jack Starr, nice to meet you Mr. Bartender of goodness. Not a bad drink.. well made.. Huh.. Anyways, I suppose I am a member of the commonwealth now." Pulling out an ID from his pocket that was sent after the recruitment process and shrugging.
"I admit the responder for the uh.. questions, is kinda strange, but I like him.. he tries to put himself off as a scary one" Chuckling quietly. "Even though I could have sworn that was automated.. But no, it was just a lady who sounds like a robot." Taking yet another gulp, glancing back up at him.
"Sorry, i'm rambling again, I have a tendency to do that. Always irritated a few people, not that I minded. Anyywaayys, I'm glad to be here. Kinda. Work, and all that stuff. You know how it goes I'm sure."

"You're part of the Commonwealth?", Sean asked and narrowed his eyes. He took a close look at Jack's idenification card, just to realize that this man was indeed affiliated to the faction which is running Freeport 10 currently.
"Wow, nice to meet you! Welcome to the Inner Circle. I'm Sean Goodwin."
"Sorry, i'm rambling again, I have a tendency to do that. Always irritated a few people, not that I minded. Anyywaayys, I'm glad to be here. Kinda. Work, and all that stuff. You know how it goes I'm sure."
"Yeah, I used to work for numerous of different companies, but then I decided to settle down here. So, what are you here for? Doing some crazy scientist-stuff or rakin' in money?", he said and chuckled a bit.

"Eh, not so much, not too much of a scientist myself, the money? Well, I admit it sounds rather nice, a man could always use some to keep himself afloat, but thats not it really either. Potential, something a few people I know of have noticed, not that they cared. Like they were actually apart of the commonwealth, external assumptions, I carry an interest in potential. If things can be done, I take interest in it."
Taking another sip.
"Things that can be done, anything, of any kind. I can be called weird for thinking so, but hey. What can I do. Commonwealth, strongonwealth. The name is interesting. Not to mention the beer is good."
"I am rambling again. Hah. Whatever. You will deal with me sooner or later, I suppose i'll be seeing you around quite often 'Sean Goodwin'?"

"I reckon so. Been quite busy the recent days in the commerce branch. Plus that job here I'm doing at the moment. Although it's quite entertaining. By the way, in case you were wondering what happened here; a guy of the research division wanted to perform...a 'field test'. Let's just say it was kinda...striking."

"Ah, good, very good. See, I met someone already. This may end quite well!" Raising his glass before finishing the contents, setting it back down on the bar table.
"Field Test? Research Division? Whats going on now? Sure I may not be the best person to actually preform these tests, but may as well learn whats going around eh? Not that I have much better to do, perhaps you could show me around the place, and people unless its too much trouble."

"Well, can't tell exactly what they're on right now. Guess they're for one doing their own stuff and for another working together on a project. If you want more information about that, I suggest you ask the head maniac of our research division, Achille Nadeau. That's also the guy who detonated my bar, by the way."
Sean scratched his head and noticed Gregar, who sat - as always - next to the entrance, staring at him. He was apparently analyizing the blonde man.
"If you want me to, I can show you the whole place some time. Got to finish my shift for now, though."

Ah, that would be wonderful. Until then, i'll walk around the place a little, thank you Sean. Smiling slightly.
If one were to pay attention, the smile seemed a little forced, but its a smile nevertheless.
Jack moves to get up, but glances at the empty glass. "Eh, how does paying work around here?" Wondering if he should just give Sean some cash for the glass. "Perhaps I may find this.. Achillie person."

"Nah, the first one is free. Also, employees get twenty percent off, so...yeah..."
Sean saw that Gregar was still staring in his direction, but he wasn't sure if it was because of Jack.
"If you're looking for Achille, I guess you'll find him in his office or in the laboratories in the Research and Development Wing. Make sure to not make quick movements in striking distance, though, unless you want to 'rearrange' every thing in the room."
