RE: Rheinland Military Message Dump - Cashew - 07-19-2014 -=Incoming Transmission=-
Comm ID: Flieger Raimund Hartmann Location: Planet New Berlin Subject: First Patrol Guten tag mein fuhrung, Yesterday I set out on my first patrol. I was given the keys to a 'Wraith' situated on Planet New Berlin, I hopped in and got going. I made my way to Stuttgart as there were several reports of a Hessian task force harassing and pirating transports along the lanes. When I got there, there was a Hessian transport and fighter. We got talking and before long a transport turned up. He was taken hostage, I challenged the fighter to a duel. If I was to win then the transport carries on, If I lose then they face the next patrol. In short I lost, for some reason the weapons mounted on my vessel weren't functioning very well. Luckily another patrol turned up and picked my pod up. I'm sure the transport did survive which was the aim of my mission. That's all for now. -=End of Transmission=-
RE: Rheinland Military Message Dump - An'shur - 07-20-2014 IDENTIFICATION: Flieger Karl von Schlafenberg SOURCE: Dortmund station SUBJECT: After action report ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First degree burns, leg fracture *sighs* how luckily I got from this. It started as encounter with Red Hessian at Bonn-Stuttgart jump gate tradelane. He was threatening some Daumann miner. Our Leutnant tried to negotiate the miner's free way to Stuttgart. Soon after the miner passed, another two Red Hessians appeared on scanners. Then, the battle started. At this time, it was three vs three battle without any changes. I also saw one Rheinland gunboat far from battlefield. At this time, three or more Rheinland military vessels came. They identified themselves as group Iota, or something like that, my black box wasn't found after the battle. This group joined the battle alongside us, but Red Hessian army got reinforcements too. We had backup squad waiting at Bonn station. One of these guys was the Marinenachrichtendienst Oberinspektor in command of Oder class gunboat. He propably registered something weird on some of our ships. I registered it too. Thrusters... Reminds me my first duty in space when we met a traitor. Herr Koch initiated some scanning of the battlefield and was.. surprised is propably the right word. He reported multiple alien contacts in the field! Nomads.. Some of the ships engaging in the battle were infected by the Nomads. Oberinspektor Koch continued his scanning and.. marked an infected ship. It was one of the Iota group. But that wasn't everything. Gunboat I saw minutes before was second infected target. One cruiser which was alongside us kept firing on it. Battle turned into chaos. It became three sided and it seems everyone fired on everyone. Whole iota group was certainly infested by Nomads. Soon after, two Hessians and one Unioner concentraded fire on me. I was repaired twice. But I lacked everything else, mines, missiles and fatefully, countermeasures. This predeterminated destruction of my ship. I attempted to run, but it was too late. Lack of mines and countermeasure made shaking them out impossible. In moment of missile's fatefull impact, I fired myself in lifepod towards Dortmund. Too fast to be chased by them, even by their missiles. I am lucky I am alive, still in medical block and I will be here for some time, not for long I hope. Result of the battle is still unknown to me. Flieger Karl von Schlafenberg RE: Rheinland Military Message Dump - An'shur - 07-20-2014 IDENTIFICATION: Flieger Karl von Schlafenberg SOURCE: Mainz station SUBJECT: After action report ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My recovery passed away sooner than I expected. Good Rheinish medicine of the ninth century, my leg is fine so I was called back... This day we encountered Red Hessian battleship escorted by gunboat and two bombers near the Bonn station. We were outgunned from start, only two gunboats and some fighter vessels, but due to skills of gunboat commanders, some luck and Strausberg nearby, our forces were enough to force them to retreat. Then we prepared a kickback. We got two cruisers and three bombers total and met up at planet Neu Berlin. During gathering forces, three traders passed our position. Soon after, we met up at planet Neu Berlin. I got an report from one of those traders, designated as Sutr. He told me where exactly the Hessians are. It was near the Mainz-Sigma 13 tradelane. And as addition, before we proceeded to Frankfurt system, we met some mercenary commanding the Bottlenose class gunboat. I think she wasn't one of many bounty hunters, but i don't like people fighting and killing for money. However, she was usefull. Then we started our operation. As trader said, they were near the tradelane. Battle wasn't really long. Jormungand suffered heavy torpedo barrage and cruiser fire. Gunboat was destroyed minute after. One of their bombers, Roc class, was destroyed while I intercepted second bomber, Thor class. I was ordered to let him. We had no looses, only some damage of our cruisers. Our mission ended at Mainz station while an IMG convoy passed by. Gute Nacht zhe Fatherland, Flieger Karl von Schlafenberg RE: Rheinland Military Message Dump - Geolog - 07-20-2014 ![]() ENCRYPTION: NORMAL SOURCE: Battleship Strausberg - New Berlin SUBJECT: After action report Guten abend, Feldwebel Maximilian Meyer berichterstattung, Ein report came from Frankfurt system today regarding possible Hessian activities on the trade lanes. The report came from passing trader and we immediately responded and assembled a strike force to pursue and intercept them. Lieutenant Dominik Albrecht lead the successful strike force against Hessians. When we arrived there their forces were comprised of one battleship, one gunboat and two bombers while our forces were two cruisers, three bombers and one fighter. Along the way to designated pirate position a Bounty Hunter gunship offered his services which we gladly accepted for a certain fee. After our arrival, Hessian forces weren't interested a lot in talks but they were interested in fighting. Very soon we departed Hessian battleship to scrapyard and short time later the Hessian gunboat as well. Unfortunately for Hessian capitals, their bomber cover has run away very fast after initial destruction of battleship. After the lanes were cleared and system was safe again. IMG Niobium convoy passed our position at Mainz and continued towards New Berlin system. I have greeted them and informed of clear path ahead. When the storm settled down only the Bounty Hunter gunship and me left behind. I paid the Hunter for job well done and went back to Battleship Strausberg in New Berlin. Our ships are standing by to deal with any future threats to security and integrity Rheinland space. Für das Vaterland. Feldwebel Maximilian Meyer abmeldung. ...:::[CLOSING TRANSMISSION]:::...

Kommandant! Today, Hessian vessels harrasing hard working traders and miners were detected in Frankfurt system. Without hesitation, the HQ formed a rapid deployment force to make an end to this shamless act. Together with a merc and Donau Class support, I was part of the bomber squad under the command of Leutnant Albrecht. After the merc (who was a reliable help, by the way!) scouted for our troops, we found the Hessian scum pirating at the lane from Mainz Station to Sigma 13 Jumpgate. After a minute of combat preperation and tactical planning, our forces engaged the fighter, gunboat, and the cruiser. After a quick fight, the cruiser went down. We focused on the gunboat next. One of my antimatter shots made the final hit through its hull. Evidence 1 Evidence 2 After those two kills, the fighter ran off into the asteroid field. Shortly after, the squad returned to New Berlin and the merc was paid for her job. Intel from the Hessian vessels were saved and valuable remnants of the ships can be tractored by ALG for re-use on our shipyards. Für Rheinland, Flieger Hegemann, end of battle report. ...:::[CLOSING TRANSMISSION]:::...

From: Flieger Raimund Hartmann Source: Planet New Berlin Subject: Combat Report Guten tag,
After being released from hospital this morning I am able to debrief what happened three days ago. I went on my daily patrol through New Berlin and cam across another Hessian. We had a small talk but we both knew that one of us would bite the dust relatively soon. He engaged and we fought for ten to fifteen minutes, he blew up my vessel just after I ejected. I was picked up by a nearby Polizei Patrol who took me to Planet New Berlin for treatment. I suffered major burns and a broken wrist. I assume I will be out of action for a few weeks with this injury. Flieger Raimund Hartmann

RECIPIENT: Rheinland Military Patrol Database SUBJECT: Patrol Report Eins Guten Tag, Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Hudson and Bering systems because one of my superiors yelled at me to do so without giving me a particular reason for this task. But that's not important, it's not my job to ask questions. Anyway, I digress. My stay in Bering didn't last very long simply because nothing happened there, which was a real shame if you ask me. In Hudson, however, things were a bit different. I met an LSF agent there who decided to share some information with me. The information itself wasn't anything special, however, the last thing he said surely left me wondering. I'll upload the logs so that you can see it for yourself. Quote:[06.08.2014 22:23:37] D9|Chameleon: "do you know the LNS-Deleware? I didn't know that the Büro had undercover agents in the LSF and it's quite unusual that he shares this information with a simple Flieger. Luckily I'm not the person who has to deal with that stuff. After my conversation with the LSF agent, I ran into the LNS-Delaware he was talking about. I didn't get much information out of its captain, however, I did manage to pick something up that might be interesting for the Oberkommando, or even the Büro. RECIPIENT: Rheinland Military Patrol Database SUBJECT: Patrol Report Zwei Guten Tag, Quite an eventful morning that was, really. In Frankfurt I supported a police cruiser and a fighter from the military secondary fleet, who were attacked by some of thse VWA guys as well as one Hessian. Since they were happily attacking the fighter, I decided to help him out and we were able to quickly remove them. ![]() Unfortunately, the remaining Hessian escaped. The police cruiser informed me that apparently there also was a Hessian capital ship in the system, however, we weren't able to find it after a short search. After that, I ran into another Hessian fighter. This one, however, proved to be too much of a challenge for me. Luckily, he let me fly away in one piece. What a fine gentleman. Kommandant! Today was a glorious day for our Vaterland. Our fleet fought off a huge Hessian fleet in Stuttgart in order to safe the Soylent Base in the planet's orbit. In two great waves, the battle took over 90 minutes and ended with heavy casualities for the Hessians, followed by their retreat. The battle started about 8 PM Stuttgart Meridian Time. Our starter force was composed of snubs, bombers and two battleships. The enemy's fleet consisted out of at least five Battleships, two Cruisers, two fighter and a bomber. The numbers were pretty even, and we were able to achieve a quick victory with only one loss on our side, but blew up a battleship and snubs of the enemy. Shortly after, the terrorists showed up again with even more Battleships, and this time , we had only one with us. Unfortunatly, it was destroyed at the beginning of the second part of the battle. For over 45 minutes, the bomber squad I was part of as well skirmished, until an enemy capital was isolated and heavily damaged. The Hessians began to retreat, trying to cover their damaged friend. The bombers and snubs of Rheinland replenished them even in to the cloud. In this run, the hit ship lost a lot of weapons and a precious Hessian cloak, wherever they have this one from. On our way back, another Hessian Battleship who felt behind was cought without support and neutralized by our forces as well. All in all, the mission was highly sucessfull, with minimum losses on our side and, given the limited ressources we had on the second part, maximum damage for our foes. The troops proceded to Stuttgart about 9:30 PM Stuttgart Meridian Time. Für Rheinland! Flieger Hegemann, end of battle report. ...:::[CLOSING TRANSMISSION]:::... They were interested in piracy activity there and told us to leave at once so that they could continue with their operation. *Max makes a small smile on his face and continues talking* Silly Hessians, they thought they would get away with crimes against Rheinland. They were wrong, highly wrong. We disposed them of their ships with extreme prejudice. After them there was only some scrap floating around. Guncam photos are following.
