I was on a patrol in the Hamburg system. My ship was on a tune-up mission against somes pirates when I’ve crossed a junkers ship named the « Bottoms.up ». The class of the ship is a Junker Salvage Frigate. I was onboard my Wraith Heavy Fighter.

[RM]Fl.Fraenkel : Halt Bottoms.Up, this is Flieger Fraenkel Von Brunnen of the Rheinland Military. I proceed to a cargo scan. Please comply.
Bottoms.Up : Bragg : Engines offline.

When I scan him, I’ve found his cargo filled with Cardamine.

[RM]Fl.Fraenkel : Attention Bottoms.Up, you’ve been found guilty of smuggling. Drop your cargo and evacuate the system now or you’ll be shot!
Bottoms.Up : Bragg : Officer… Dont by tat serious, we can deal.

My ship was’nt ready for this kind of fight but I’ve engaged him. He was the first to open fire, firing a volley of his turrets, including his gunboat main turret. I’ve evaded his fire fairly easily and I’ve begin the engagement. With 3 hornviper and 2 firekiss, this wasn’t enought to damage his shield less than 50% and after 3 minutes of combat my ship was severely damaged. I’ve ejected just in time before my craft explode.

My health is ok, the medical report said I’m ready for active duty.

Hum... Hallo?

Ja, this is Gefreiter Kone here. I know that normally repair logs are not needed because of, you know... the existing automation systems... but I just had an intervention in Hamburg today which was not ordinary, i thought i'd tell you about it man... I mean mein Leutnant! (smirks stupidly) Well .... mmmh, where to start? Yeah, I was in... huh... space yes, and ... I receive that urgent order from the Hamburg center of operation. Their long range scan satellites got a weird echo out there... They wanted me to seek and report! That intervention looked dodgy from the intel I've got. The info were that center of operation heard a distant radio contact between a junker and a unidentified echo. After some quick analysis, the center came to the conclusion that this echo was matching an old transponder of the fighter wings. At first I thought that this could be a trap, you know. A junker with one of our old transponder from an area quite close from the jump holes for the border worlds... But I needed to go. After all, I'm part of the rescue team. If there was one of our ship out there, I was the one who were going to help him. Finding the "echo" wasnt too hard. After setting my escape trajectory out of Planet Hamburg to head for the cloud, I manage to get into radar range after a long cruise in the cloud. What I saw next was stunning! Gefreiter Tchaykovski and his Wraith... right in front of me. Our data base said that he was missing in action for more than 9 months! True story. And there he was. I haven't got the tiniest idea on how he could disappear for so long? What happened to that poor lad or how come noboby found him before? But finding those answers is not my job. I had a small repair ship to run and I had my teams to set up. First action was the assessing of the situation. I could connect to the ship easily. But that was only to receive a wave of alert messages. Even in training we never had so much to deal with at one time. That was just crazy ma...n Leutnant. I saw that the Gefreiter was in a bad shape and the life support system of the Wraith was out of proper order. I've overriden the ejection system and activated it to tractor the pilot in my ship. After that we had to face numerous challenges to contain the wraith in one piece. As we tried to tow it back to Planet Hamburg, It seemed that activating his cruise engines to make things go faster was not a good idea. We had several major failures that followed among which a reactor leak. After all, the engine logs said that the last maintenance was made 272 days before. The trail the left engine made when we restarted it was so strange in its color. We had them all in one time! I'm sure that could give a tan to the most orange Outcast! Anyway, We managed to get to planet for medical assistance and emergency repairs despite the damaged ship. Job done bitc...(cough!) As we got a leak in the reactor, it is very possible that the repair team in Hamburg will find bits of nano radioactive particles, remnants of the massive injection of nano bots and local protective shield bats we had to do to save that wreck from shining too much. First of all, I would like to apologize for merging two battle reports into one. The explications as to why are coming further on. 

  • 821.11.28.20:45, Completion of the Moselle undocking procedures. Characteristics of the flight were: Lone patrol to New Hampshire. Ship type: Bergelmir. MOX tank: half-filled. Main Gun: Anti-matter. Secondaries: Energy's and nukes. I proceeded to the waypoints indicated: Bremen and New Hampshire
  • 821.11.28.21:00, New Hampshire system entrance. Echoes on radar showed an important activity of Turtles. Several kampfgruppen were deployed to missions from Westfallen inside the system. I joined the wing of a Bismark ship named Ruhri. Together we terminated temporary Navy installations in NH.  
  • 821.11.28.21:35, End of Westfallen assigned missions with Battleship Ruhri and returning to Westfallen position. 20k from Westfallen position, contact was made with 2 VHF scouts. Ship name: LNF-Hellcat and LNF-Black.Prince. Both bandits engaged the Rhuri and my Bergelmir. (001)
  • 821.11.28.21:45, Westfallen directed all kampfgruppen in the system to our combat position. Bismark RNC-Erfurt and wraith pilot Won_Claussen joined in. (002) (003)
  • 821.11.28.21:55, The LNF scouts were forced to retreat to the Whitefield. At 10k from the Withefield, first assault wave of Liberty ship arrived. Ship names: Billy.Bo.Jackson, Paizur, BlubbiBlubber, LNS-Valkyrie. Probably cruisers and gunboat. (001) (002)
  • 821.11.28.21:58, Destruction of Liberty first assault wave. (001) (002)
  • 821.11.28.22:05, Arrival of the second Liberty assault wave and Rheinland reinforcements. On the bandit side: LNS-Vallanzasca, LNS-Demeter, Unship, Faze|Luisa.Game. Ship class: Mostly medium sized capitals and one VHF. On our side, RNC-Klaus, Roon, Werner.Scholz, Erwin_Rommel, Stravos. Ship class: 2 Bismarks and 2 snubs. (001) (002)
  • 821.11.28.22:16, Critical hull breach of my Bergelmir due to Cerberus hit from Withefield. Escape in pod successful. Flight data recorder backed up in time (001)

The support ship came only hours later to pick my pod. I join Moselle as fast as I could, only to hear the scramble alarm again. I could find a Bergie with the same loadout and undock. The Libertonians were attacking in Hamburg. This is why I could not made a proper report on the first mission on time. Here is the second one.

  • 821.11.29.18:32, Completion of the Moselle undocking procedures. Characteristics of the flight were: Emergency intercept in Hamburg. Ship type: Bergelmir. MOX tank: fully-filled. Main Gun: Anti-matter. Secondaries: Energy's and nukes.
  • 821.11.29.18:35, Hamburg sytem entrance and docking to trade lane to Alster. Ennemy is spotted 15k before Alster. Enemy schwarm is composed of Adam Gibson, LN-Chad.Davis and LNS-Daedalus. On our side, the RNC-Kassel was present. Evidence of the loss of one of our ship can be found at the battle sector. Yet, this ship remains unknown in my logs. (001)
  • 821.11.29.18:45, More Rheinland forces responded to the emergency. BDM|U-74, BDM|U-201, RNC-Moskau, RNC-Spiegelei, and the Fähnrich Reims. (001)
  • 821.11.29.19:02, Most of the enemy were destroyed. Uncloaking enemy ship appeared but were destroyed quickly after. Yet, it is hard to track them into the logs. I set course to Moselle. (001) (002)
  • 821.11.29.19:05, Radio contact by trader ship Very.Special.Delivery. The captain was offering his service for hauling goods in our name. The tone he used suggested this was illegal business. Ship name and conversation can be tranfered to RFP for further analysis if asked. (001) (002)

It seems that the enemy formation we just crushed was once again the scouting part of their bigger fleet. We did not notice it at the time because the main liberty assault wave came 1 hours after. I scramble again to reach Hamburg in the same sector in no time. Yet, it is again with an other support ship that I have reach Moselle this time again. I ended up in front of a battleship with no thrust boost left. Unfortunately, I could not retrieve the data from my ship after ejection. I have lost 2 bergies in two days and have only destroyed a gunboat. I need to work on my aiming. I know the battle raged in Hamburg during hours and that this one was tough. Liberty kept feeding waves of ships. Interesting behavior knowing that a new rumored ending war is coming.

Guten Morgen,

Flieger Michael Voss Berichterstattung.

Feldwebel Franz Hegemann and I were patrolling in Frankfurt System when we noticed a suspicious Junker ship avoiding trade lane travel. We stopped him near Mannheim Station, scanned his cargohold, which was full of Cardamine

We ordered him several times to drop the contraband and pay the fine, he kept on his version our scanners are broken and he is transporting H-Fuel.
So after many orders to drop the Cardamine Feldwebel Hegemann ordered to attack and destroy the ship.
A hard fight started but finally we were able to crack his Hull by the last shot from Feldwebel Hegemann.
We destroyed the load of Cardamine, found no signs of the escape pod and headed back to New Berlin for repair because both ships were heavyly damaged during the fight.

Flieger Michael Voss Berichterstattung.

After our encounter of the smuggler and repairing the ships, we spotted a VWA Vessel named Steve.Harlow in New Berlin, stopped him near Kreuzberg Depot.
Feldwebel Hegeman started to negociate with the Pilot, while RNC-Kampfhund and I went to Hamburg, trying to stop 2 Freelancer smugglers but they escaped through the Jumphole to Bering before we where close enough to stop them, so we regrouped at Kreuzberg again.
The VWA Vessel was not willing to comply so Feldwebel Hegeman started a fair 1 on 1 with him
Unfortunately Feldwebel Hegeman was hit by a Mine and his ship was destroyed.
RNC-Kampfhund recovered his escape Pod and we went back to Strausberg.

Guten Morgen,

Flieger Michael Voss Berichterstattung.

I was on Patrol in Frankfurt when the known Cardamine smuggler j.ramon entered the System from Sigma-13.
Ordered him to stop, while he was talking something that he killed me 10 minutes ago... Maybe got to much of his Carda, my Patrol just started 5 minutes before contact. I scanned his cargo and was again loaded full of Cardamine.
My orders to drop the cargo were viotated, instead he hacked into the docking mechanism of Fulda Border Station, leaving it after a short time, opened fire upon my ship and managed to escape through the tradelane towards New Berlin. I followed him, but he disrupted every Lane he used so I wasn´t able to get him again.

Then i got a message that a Nomad ship is in New Berlin.
When i reached the coordinates the Nomad was already in Combat with a heavyly damaged RM Fighter, the Enemy ship engaged me on sight so I returned fire and was able to destroy the Nomad.

Mein Leutnant.

Accordingly to pré-assigned schedule, I took off from Moselle at 20:30 with a antimatter cannon Bergelmir. I headed to Hamburg system to proceed to a traffic control type mission with the Feldwebel Hegemann. Together and with captain Iro from the Donau class cruiser Steel_Bender who just joined us, we controlled several cargo transporters. First oddity was Junker Salvage Frigate equipped with Zoner transponder (001) in the vicinity of Planet Hamburg. Her captain seems not to understand our language. The ship's cargo was empty so I sent this trader back to Liberty where he probably belongs. While checking for some smugglers near the Bering jump hole sector, we came across a transporter named Piper_Fox. We caught several law violation with this ship such as non valid paper authorization to fly said ship, smuggling of black market munitions and refusal to stop for control. The ship and her captain was therefor neutralized (002). Destruction occured at 20:53. After the completion of the traffic control objective, the Feldwebel Hegemann headed back to base and along with Captain Iro, we proceeded to the second objective of the mission: patrolling the lanes of Neu Berlin and Frankfurt systems. While heading to the first way point of the second objective, I received a transmission from Captain Fugi of the KSD. It seemed the Captain wanted to reach the BDM about something they have discovered (003). I will let a memo for the Buro. Once patrolling, the Vidar class cruiser ship named RHC-Wattenbek was detected near Bonn station sector. Destruction by the Steel_Bender of the bandit occured at 22:20 (004 - 005). Later on, still patrolling but in Frankfurt this time, we encountered D9| VHF. Jackal and Tiger (006). Those Libertonians acted and spoke like our infected brothers. Reinforcement on our side arrived with Kruger bombers and Herr Klein with his Wraith from the secundär. The battle lasted quite a while but ended with the destruction of D9|Jackal at 0:59 (007) and the cloak activation for D9|Tiger half an hour later. Such battle with VHF obliged me to head back to base in Neu Berlin for resupply in fuel, consumables and munitions. Unfortunately I discovered a pressure failure in the hydraulics of the opening system of my canopy. I could resume my mission only hours later. When finally this time consuming minor problem was behind me, I could take off again from the capital Planet. In orbit I joined the Detective Emile Olpenitz's bomber wing. Few moment after, the Detective alerted me that several ennemy capital ships were near the lane leading to Mainz. This alert was indeed true as we discovered 2 GNG| tagged solaris gunboats and 2 Vidar class cruiser from the Hessians fleet. Ship names were respectively, Tutashkhia, Wesker, Reksi and tony.jeager (008). The RFP call for backup was answered by Wachmann Humbert and by Herr von Fisher. Both were flying bombers. The tactic choosen to attack was to concentrate fire on the cruiser first. This tactic yielded good resulst as the Vidars could not hold the incoming fire at them (009). At this point, the bismark class Battleship RNC-Kaserin.Mathilde joined and help us greatly with her long range Cerberus turrets. The remaining gunboats were much more difficult to attack. The RFP|SEK-Omega.1 and the RNC-Neckar came for assistance by the end of the battle. Those solaris turrets deserve their deadly reputation. Yet, we managed to neutralized them (010 - 011). I headed back to Moselle right after.

in the recent times, our forces have declined and halted somewhat in the steady meatgrinders of war. Though we are all part of this, some have shown they are ready to step forward and move into positions they deserve. With this, a short speech, the following promotions are being put into service immediately.

Hauptmann LARISSA SCHMITT is hereby promoted to the rank of Vizeadmiral.

This is the first promotion in a line of multiple to come, but it is certainly the most important. May Vizeadmiral Schmitt do her duties with Pride.

Guten abend,

Feldwebel Frank Faust reporting,

A police patrol requested for fire support from the Military against a Hessian gunboat and its escort consisting of several fighters and bombers. I assumed command of the Falke and rushed to their location and I immidiately engaged them, destroying the Hessian gunboat and severely damaging their fighters. Tutashkia joined the fight and didn't change the outcome of the battle, they all died.
