I think the dev team should drop this.

I want my Verdict Justin. You hear me?!

Shhh the admins are discussing the issue.

If I didn't already know you weren't worth the time it takes to read your posts, I'd actually be surprised by the shameless staff shilling.

Yeah, and I hear Star Citizen is slated for a 10/10 IGN review and is going gold two weeks from now.

What shilling.
Both the staff and the people involved in this drama are to blame. That is the point. At this point everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to seem as the voice of reason. And you as well.

RE: Official Notice - Development Team Strike - sindroms - 07-10-2016

If you are all tired of Disco, just ask the people responsible to pull the plug on the main server and have someone else take over if you are so goddamn tired of dealing with this bull. Stop trying to find yourself excuses for ''stirkes'' or whatever.

After talking to some of the people from the yellow team, it really strikes me as that the people involved are just too scared of how giving up would relate to their public image at this point.
Well, if you cannot be bothered to carry the mod anymore, just say so. Instead you are forcing yourself to bear the title you have no interest in anymore and - by the way - it is kinda showing, you ain't fooling anybody at this point.

I know full well I'm not "the voice of reason". I don't expect anyone but the most hardline and bitter people to agree with my viewpoint, but when ninety percent of people involved would, at the end of the day, rather have everything swept under the rug again than actually put any effort whatsoever into pushing for some sort of lasting solution, I get increasingly pissed off with every half-baked supportive post that comes oozing out of everyone's mouths.

RE: Official Notice - Development Team Strike - sindroms - 07-10-2016

Perhaps it is because the 90% percent of the people have no interest in becoming the victims of some drama that they have no ties to and should have no toes to. Most of the people playing Disco these days do not even have any voice in the community. Why should our regular 90~ players online every day be the victims of 5 people being banned. People they will never encounter, nor should care about?

I knew every each of the people involved in this sanction. They are NOT worth killing Disco over and I hope they are the first ones to approve of that statement. I am actually surprised that the moment this half-arsed strike happened, they did not make a public statement regarding ''the fuk are you guys doing?'' in response to the devteam.

Reverse Psychology 101.

"You're too scared to continue the mod."

Internet discussions 101, Loaded question.
Right back at you, if you cannot come up with any compelling argument.

Who's talking about killing Disco? The only people who bother coming out with that BS are scaremongering as hard as they can - this place shambles on like a horde of mindless undead no matter what the hell you throw at it. The biggest problem with all these 'drama' incidents is always the idiots who blow everything out of proportion and make out like it's the coming of the apocalypse.

You could DDoS the server for six months, delete the character database, and wipe the forums to nothingness and I guarantee you there would still be some people crawling back to cling to the floating debris.

There's no possible outcome where this leads to the server dying a final death, with the exception of the staff deciding that they'll pull the plug themselves in light of having zero evidence to show anyone. Wise up.
