RE: Phoenix Internal Network - RedEclipse - 08-01-2021 ![]() That's actually a good idea, I believe we could sacrifice several decks on Kadesh Orbital Colony, though remaining rooms should be off limits to non Phoenix affiliated. Security department, provide rooms and necessary equipment, and like always ensure safety of our installation. If we open Kadesh Orbital Colony to the public that doesn't mean we would spread the Nomad plague. ![]() Also, I'm reading the reports about several Auxesia ships that are already interrupting and attacking our mining operations and dare to enable shields on Kadesh Orbital Colony. Nomad ships came to assist them against our forces. I never would believe that I would say this, but Core came in to assist against the Nomads just in time… Anyway, I'm a bit digressed. Though our people already get used to living under Nomad tension, keep your eyes open, make sure that our miners always have the backup. Ah and by the way, promote Nova for disabling Auxesia vessel, she's doing pretty good job on the research, never thought that our researchers can be same brave as our corefleet pilots. ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - RedEclipse - 09-11-2021 ![]() Urgent message to trade and construction departments, With the recent schedule of the Kadesh Orbital City project I have something in mind that we could afford without big investments. Delta Mining Corp serves well during all the time, it gives us a great advantage on building up our budget and fueling different projects, like Kadesh Orbital City and many others. But while we have free resources to spare it's time to grow our iridium business even more. So far we are using Athens Station as a public spot for Iridium Ore drop off but due to its remote location I have a different thoughts about Athens in my mind. So DMC should be self sufficient, to present business opportunities for our traders, allies and partners and other interested parties. This being said, we need to make DMC bigger. The current asteroid is way too small to extend its storage capacity and living quarters, so we should find a bigger asteroid to cover up all of our needs. The project under codename "Delphi Orbital Storage'' shall start immediately. I don't know how long we will be able to spare resources from the Kadesh, so start deploying new asteroids right now. Towing platforms already underway. Aligning new asteroid and mount/transferring all required apparatus destabilize old asteroid orbit - is your concern now. But make sure it'll burn in Tuvalu's orbit. We do not need unexpected neighbors that could benefit from the abandoned station. ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - RedEclipse - 11-07-2021 ![]() Good day, A report from a recent joint convoy with Order logistics. As soon as we were informed by Burton’s order to head to Akabat, we prepared our ships for the convoy and tested all systems, the route from the Kadesh to Akabat was clear and Order tradeships already were awaiting for us. Shortly after gathering, we were loaded with Azurite Gas from Damascus Research Station and headed to Okinawa, to Sendai Research Complex. For the luck, our convoy was strengthened by Autumn, a Osiris class battleship to ensure the safety of the operation. Per our arrival to Sendai the Blood Dragons were awaiting for our arrival. I believe this is the first time we're cooperating with them, so it could be a good start of developing our relationship further for mutual benefit of course. ![]() Shortly after arrival we unloaded the Azurite Gas, and headed to Sigma-59 for Helium-3 and brought it back on the way to return. To finish off the full circle, we have brought Reinforced Alloys from Freeport 11 to Damascus. With counting up all the risks along the route, we’ve come up with a conclusion with the Trade and Mining department to suggest the following route. Be advised of Nomad presence in Epsilon system though. ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - RedEclipse - 02-12-2022 ![]() My brethren, It has come to my attention about the unstable orbit of Delta Mining Corp. It seems our calculations mislead about Nauru’s gravity attraction and instead of circular, in a several years it could become even more elliptical that could put our mining operations at danger, and dead danger its residents. Also I have to mention, the orbital position of the storage played greatly at reducing efficiency of our mining operations that have put unnecessary attention to other parties such as Core. I would like to relocate our mining storage to somewhere else. Lets call it the Delphi Storage Complex project. Find out the most secure and comfortable spot to drop off the ore. The future of Delta Mining Corp. installation is still in the air, as towing rock-type stations would be too expensive and unnecessary. I ask the Exploring and Research department to find out the best spot for such operations, later then we will move on further. ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - RedEclipse - 02-13-2022 ![]() I've recently dispatched from Kadesh Orbital Colony to explore possible new locations for the Delphi project. Whilst it seem to be like there's a plenty of desired locations, I believe we're quite limited with parameters that Mr. Burton has mentioned. ![]() My route to the Delta Tokelau Ice Cloud was clear, so I swiftly began to collect all necessary information about ongoing traffic in common exits of the cloud, whilst apparatus onboard of the Lyra were collecting the data. The first location would be 6F Sector, a quite good spot, the direction of the cloud mass here is linear and gravity attraction of Tirane's gas giant would be minimal, though a several joint working manoeuvre drives would be enough to run once a year to keep position static towards the nebula. It presents a perfect spot for both drop off point for the miners and haulers, as it is located on the edge of a nebula. The downside is the installation would be sooner or later spotted by the Nomads or other unwanted attention, thus construction of the base in this spot would put the project at great risk during the scaffolding. The coordinates are available within the report. ![]() But that's not all yet, I made my trip into the cloud itself, thanks to the heavy armoured ship, minimal Nomad patrols in this area did not possess any threat. After several days of observation and scanning the nebula from the inside, I have found the spot that our people would benefit the most. From perspective of area stability the 7H Sector seems fit us quite well, with proper allocation works and deploying the scaffold works it would be no longer necessarily to mount any manoeuvre drives, as the whole nebula objects seem to be moving in a single direction, that would save us of possible disastrous collisional impacts, as asteroids in this area is quite and unusual big for the Omicrons. As for my activity observations in the past days I was a single human in the area, but the following area has minor Nomad activity. But, due to the high density of asteroids in the area, any possible assaults in construction sites and exploitation is unlikely, the spot is quite hidden from any parties, but even being revealed by the Nomads mean nothing - the landscape will be our natural defender from any capital ship intruders. ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - Alvin - 02-28-2022 ![]() Security reporting in - We are currently monitoring the situation of Delta Mining Corp and the proposal of a new installation. Our suggestion to the group is to deviate from an asteroid hollow out as previously done, instead to creating a new dedicated mining outpost to fully facilitate the necessary requirement. Whilst an asteroid base provides an quick set up and and initial defence, it would be difficult to make repairs under hostile conditions. In this case, our suggestion is to construct an Abbey class station, and modelled similar to Mainz storage facility. This installation will have the ability offers multiple docking ports for heavy traffic, large hold for storage purposes but compact enough for defensive purposes. In addition, defensive surveys have been following the locations suggested by Nova, with the following notes: 6F, Shrouded by dark cloud, it is away from plain sight giving cover to mining operations . The station itself would provide some initial cover but the advantage of surprise is reduced once discovered by potential hostiles. Regardless, it still offers some defensive advantages, with a more balanced distance between mining operation and logistical re-supplies. Our larger capital class vessel may still traverse to this installation and defend under cover, and if necessary moor with the station to supply if the sector is harassed with smaller hostile. 7H is a very well secured location with an undeniable defensive advantage. Littered with a natural jagged rock formation, the attacker is limited to size and must get close before able to launch an attack at the station. At this distance, the base defence have an accuracy bonus, but the enemies may also have rocks as cover. The location provides mining operation better security and efficiency due to the close proximity to high yield ore. However, this have an opposite affect on logistical operations, with longer distance for a supply run and an increase risk of ambush. It is also worth noting we are unlikely able to send capital ships in response to distress either, and there is also an spatial anomaly within this sectors pilots needs to be aware of. Regardless of location, the main challenge get the base of operation running as quick as possible. The installation will be very fragile until it is fully set up, and it will be necessary to assign a fleet of vessels, and call on our allies to assist with a the defensive details to protect station until it is set up. - Alec ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - Aazalot - 04-26-2022 ![]() I've heard along the grape vine about the situation in Pennsylvania I lack all of the detail's, but whatever is going on will effect our Zoner Brethren who call that system home. As such I have taken my gunship to Bethlehem to see what I can find out. I know our focus is on Kadesh and our home out in the Omicrons, but as part of our Primary and Secondary goals to re-connect with other groups and to help those less fortunate then ourselves, we could perhaps show our faces around the system and see what we can do to support. I know our resources are thin so if I end up doing it alone then so be it, but anything I Find out I will report here Jerard Voncloud - Phoenix - Pygar Administrator
![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - RedEclipse - 05-29-2023 ![]() I hope you have had a good day, my brethren. Probably you have heard of news as they are spreading fast like forest fire. If not, I will try to be brief. I went for a business trip to Erie and met my family on the planet side, Aleec was escorting me way in and out. I believe it's the first time we have used our weapons against house authorities. But I would rather call them terrorists… Another reassurance that the far you live away from the great houses the better for you. This time the terrorist state Liberty fought with its own civilians. Dozens of our Zoner brethren were killed, they even brought a bloody Overlord to blockade the planet to slay the resistance. Me and Alec managed to escape with one of the escorted transports out of Erie, but since escape I heard not any news from Erie, nor managed to contact my relatives there on planetside. As for now, we should strengthen our patrols in the Omicron Nu system. The brutality of the intervention against Zoners cannot be ignored, they could also strike our borders. Make sure that any escort or Liberty patrol wouldn't find a way back if they reach Rarotonga, fight for the fallen brothers. Nevertheless don't try to be a hero, still stay clear if you are outnumbered and report any capital ship patrols in the area. ![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - Starr - 05-31-2023 ![]() To everyone; I got a first-hand account of the fighting from my sister, she was engaged with the Liberty attackers and barely made it out. I really don't like the idea of moving focus towards the core worlds, avoiding them has more or less been my main guiding motivation, but I hate to see still more encroachment of house tyranny towards independents.
Whether you have friends or family on Erie or not, I think we owe it to our brothers and sisters to show support. I agree that we should make our presence known along the Nu corridor, and show the Liberts that the strength of their arm will suffer if they stretch it. ~ Erica
![]() RE: Phoenix Internal Network - Alvin - 06-02-2023 ![]() Defences on Rarotonga Dock have been shoring up as we speak. The Portable class station is not designed for heavy combat but in worst case contingency it will have to make do to. Dock operators will be on alert and running extra shifts to cope with the influx of extra patrol vessels in the meantime. What happened in Erie was treacherous. It has been no secret Liberty wishes complete control over the system, but to use an underhanded tactics and a surprise attack in an attempt to crush Zoners was heinous at best. - Alec ![]() |
