RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - dirmaster0 - 06-27-2013

"Ah.. well then..." He starts sweating, attempting to control his emotions. "Leon Trotsky was a Soviet Revolutionary back in Sol. Trotsky helped Lenin, Stalin, and the Bolsheviks fight against the White Shirts in Russia on Earth to establish a utopian communist society. The Bolsheviks pushed for a society run by the Proletariat, the working class. Eventually Mr. Trotsky was betrayed by his comrades in the Soviet Union & exiled. It is believed he was assassinated by the KGB by orders of Stalin after Trotsky & the moment had a sort of "falling out period". Quite unfortunate circumstances for a man that whole heartedly supported the worker's movement. Now Trotskyism is composed of the idea of a constant state of revolution, in which the control of power is cycled. It also promoted reforms, as well as a bridge toward establishing a state of socialism overall." He stares back at Kyu, hoping his answer was sufficient for her liking.

Open-mouthed, Meiling stared at the commissar in shock. They thought she was a spy? She would have to be very convincing to prove beyond a doubt that she wasn't -

"No," she blurted out, panicking. "I'm not a spy, commissar!"
So much for being convincing. Having the gun pointed at her was making her jumpy.

She tried to utter a few more frantic denials, but all the words tried to come out at once and ended up stuck in her throat. Instead, she just shook her head vehemently.
In the silence that followed, Meiling tried very very hard not to look at the gun still aimed squarely at her. She hung her head, waiting for the bullet.

The Commissar stared at the woman in front of him clearly unimpressed.

He took a moment before finally speaking. "Liar." He said, seeing the look of horror in the recruits eyes as he pulled the trigger.

CLINK... The gun was empty.

The Commissar finally dropped his serious facade and laughed at the look on the face of the recruit. "You passed recruit." he said with a smile, taking a stack of papers in a pile next to his desk and sliding it towards the recruit.

"Fill these out and then submit them." he said before waving her out of his office so she could fill out the questionnaire.

General Joseph Garcia was onboard the CPW-Trotsky conducting his inspection of the recruitment when he stumbled upon Captain Tsukuda interrogating an applicant who was trapped in an airlock. Normally he would not have cared but he recognized the applicant as a man that Colonel Coronel had personally vouched for.

"I see you're making our applicant comfortable. I'll be taking over from this point however." he motioned for Kyu to open the airlock and she did.

The terrified Jean Marx came back onboard the Trotsky but before he could say a word the General motioned for the applicant to follow him to a nearby office. Making sure that the office was clear, he motioned for the recruit to sit.

"So I'm told that you're from Planet Volgograd and that your parents were miners, yes?"

The recruit nodded in acknowledgement.

"So tell me, what makes you think you're capable of joining the SCRA? We are a Military, one that has to constantly do the impossible and win against impossible odds. What makes you think a simple Miner could be capable of doing what we do?"

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - dirmaster0 - 06-29-2013

Marx replies to General Garcia's question, "I believe we miners have faced impossible odds too, as mining in Cobalt mines is not what you could necessarily declare as a safe profession. I've had to carry bodies from the shafts before, even saved a couple trainees from dying down there. Even with all these things in mind, I was still able to overcome the hardships and built upon my accomplishments with positivity. With the Military's direction, I believe I can become a real contributor to our society. This is why I've longed to become one of the Fighter Corps' ranks." Marx's heart envelops into fire, as he stares toward the General he says, "My family taught me to value what the SCRA has blessed us with, so I have come to return the favor and do what I can for you; for the Revolutionary Struggle; for the Proletariat!"

General Garcia gave Marx a long look before finally speaking.

"You certainly have the passion for it." he pauses for another moment before speaking again. "And Coronel vouches for you." he says, almost as if he's debating in his mind.

Finally he reaches a conclusion and opens the drawer where the questionnaire papers are located. "I suppose there's no harm in letting you in. We could always train you." he said while sliding the papers towards Marx. "Complete these." he said before escorting Marx out of the office and resuming his inspection.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Resolute - 06-30-2013

Yakov looked up in somewhat disbelief. He was taken aback by that last question to be sure. He smiled for a split second..letting a bit of a surprised/nervous laugh out. He then steadied himself. He began to wonder if all the information he had obtained from his neural net research was accurate.. "Our Ikon is Alvin Katz. He was stabbed in the back by a man named "Volkhan", beginning the civil war." He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. "I first learned of the Coalition by word of mouth while attending University. The possibility of remnants of the Old Coalition certainly peaked my interest, and gave me hope on many different levels. After much research, I was led to believe nothing else than the fact that this was the real deal. I am 26 years old.

As for our allies and enemies, I am almost positive that the closest allies of The Coalition are The Mollys. This followed by the Red Hessians, and Bundschuh, respectively. Our enemies would include Aliens, Bounty Hunters, and all other houses that defy the true will of the people." He now came to the question he had wrestled within himself for many years. "We will be victorious when the enemies of true government by the people lie in their own blood, as well as the blood of our soldiers, and all of Sirius sees the Liberating power of our truths."

"As far as how I know I am not dreaming.. Well, to be honest..." Yakov smiles uncomfortably, somewhat squirming in his seat. "I have yet to see such a beautiful woman enter my dreams." Before he knew it, it was out. Never in a million eons would he have thought that THAT is what he would say in his interview..."Most esteemed Commissar that is.." The fear on his face was obvious, but soon subsided into resolution, as he awaited the response.

Julia laughed for abit. She definitly liked that new recruit. There was something in him...

Well that answers will do. Exept for one - I meant that Aloysius Rhade was one who backstabbed Katz, but Volkhan also did that, so cant blame you for misunderstanding. And well, how charming are you... Though, do not try any flirting with me. At least not too much.

Julia stood up from char and went to the door. She invited Smirnoff to follow her. Before they was out of the office, she stopped him. Before Yakov could say anything she asked:

Before I leave you to paper work, say to me - will you be able to kill your friend if it appears that he is spy or traitor? Have you enough will to kill someone who you loved for the better of the Coalition and its people?

Julia's expression was serious this time. She observed any reaction that Yakov could show on his face.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Resolute - 06-30-2013

The question was not a new one for Smirnoff; He had asked himself this many times before. His expression mirrored his true resolve. "Yes" was his only, solemn response.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - JayDee Kasane - 06-30-2013

Expression of Julia's face changed abit, but not much.

Meh, I expected bigger answer from you, little intelligent. *she smile shortly* But okay, I can understand its not easiest question you maybe asked. Whatever... Follow me.
They both quit office and went to another office with tables and some people writing something. Julia gave some papers to Yakov and said ''Fill them up and give to that guy'' - she pointed at Commissar in the corner. ''I hope that we will meet again soon. Dismiseed for now.'' She turned back and went out of office.

She returned to her 'Revolution bomber and set up cource to Liberty. ''Time to pay Libertonians another visit'' she said and vanished from the Omeha 52 system...
