I know little of the reason's why my parents were fleeing, however my mother left me a note and what I do know I shall tell you.
At the climax of the Nomad war, Rheinland was putting everything into producing ships with which to attack Kusari. Mein father was en engineer on ze Ring - he was putting in long hours and being paid little. When Rheinland "lost", mein father was released of his contract. Mother couldn't support us all and Father couldn't find work anywhere. There was an opportunity on Cambridge and they jumped at the chance for a fresh start.
That's all I know, I guess Father fell out with his employers - or the conditions on ze Ring he couldn't take anymore - or simply he was surplus to requirements.
I hope that this is enough, I am hopeful to make a difference.

I am not sure you realise that we are not common criminals or pirates, we are revolutionaries fighting for a better Rheinland, for the people. Initially your response to my application took me by surprise. Frustrated, I took your advice and sat down to read the Red Hessian Operational Manual. Such simple concepts made so much more sense with a little more clarity.
Under your instructions, I decided to rendezvous with the Red Hessian Patrols of Dresden, learning what I could. The first learning curve: It's amazing what you get when you simply ask for it. I realised where my "Shoot first, ask questions later" policy would turn the people against, completely negating the purpose of a revolution.
