REPORT FROM LT. DANIERU
On patrol with Cmd. Mori, Lt. Yomigae and Ensign Ryu.
There were two encounters of note:
1) A BH vessel 'DW Suzanna' refused to drop contraband. The pilot also denied being under contract to hunt pirates in Kusari space.
I hope that High Command will see fit to investigate the activities of the Dark Wing and inform the KNF warriors in due course.
2) A criminal 'El_Mori' (spelling may not be accurate) entered Kusari space with no less than a Corsair IFF and Coalition ID. A long pursuit followed. Eventually the criminal agreed to leave Kusari space.
Later that day the criminal was observed trying his luck again, entering via Shikoku. Again we pursued, maintaining strict radio silence so as to unnerve this creature.
The criminal had changed his ID to Military, obviously hoping we would not remember him.
The pursuit ended with the criminal fleeing to the relative safety of Deshima Station. The local Kusari fleet was so enraged by his presence they even started to attack the station!
Ensign Ryu and I monitored him for a while, as the criminal tried on all channels to insult the honour of the KNF. We did not dignify him with a response.

REPORT FROM LT. DANIERU
Bretonian space has been very quiet of late. Traders from Samura and Kishiro have had excellent runs brining deuterium to the Empire.
Several incidents of note took place over the last two days:
1) The insane commander of a Liberty Dreadnought was attacking ships in Tau-29. I could not hope to prevail in combat, nor could I leave the traders unguarded. I put out a general call to shipping to be alert to its presence.
2) The Outcast Destoyer 'Nep' was observed attacking our home fleet in New Tokyo. Such an atrocity would not go unanswered.
The call was put out to all KNF and friendly ships to assist. Commodore Nagasaki and Ensign Kamura were on hand, as well as a BSG battlecruiser and a mercenary pilot.
The fight was short. The Outcast tried to run but was quickly brought down by our combined strength of arms. The killing shot went to the pilot [merc]Haelyn.
During the battle, a previously unknown pirate known as 'Maestro' attacked and destroyed Ensign Kimura's ship in a cowardly and unprovoked assault. This pirate then attempted to evade our retaliation by flying close to Roppongi Station. After a brief pursuit the pirate vessel was obliterated, again the killing blow went to [merc]Haelyn.
3) During today's trade run, the pirate 'Maestro' attempted a pathetic extortion of the trader ships. At no time was the convoy in serious danger. Several blasts from my gunboat turrets were sufficient to have this pirate turn tail and flee Kusari space.

Subject: RoS Gunboat downed on Kyushu Planet

I was doing my New Tokyo system routine patrol in my personal ship, my fighter, when scanners showed an unknown vessel (maybe a destroyer class) somewhere in Kyushu.
I immediately set the course for Honshu and docked with Yukawa Shipyard, the Kurashiki was soon ready with all crew on-board, destination Kyushu.
While the Kurashiki was orbiting Kyushu Planet a RoS vessel, gunboat class, entered the system and was in visual range within a minute. Red condition to all stations was declared. The target "[RoS]Gontfried[X] refused to open a communication channel and showed aggressive intentions. All stations returned fire.
The Kurashiki shields went down a few times and some light hull damage is reported but the enemy gunboat crashed into open sea on Kyushu Planet.
Among survival and cargo pods we found:
- 1 Kusari Naval Forces Pilot, already receiving medic treatment and debriefing soon.
- 1 Unknown Cruiser Commander, under interrogation.
- 1 Bounty Hunter Pilot, delivered to the authorities on Kyushu, status pending.
- 2 Gunboat Captains, both under interrogation on the Prison Ship.
- 47 Pharmaceuticals units.
- 9 Water units.

The pirate 'Maestro' has also attacked me previously. I was patroling
when I spotted a Lane Hacker, piloting a strange purple craft ((Nomad ship))
in Kyushu. I engaged so the pirate engaged the Tau 23 jump gate and
jumped. I followed and after a fierce fire fight I was forced to flee due
to extensive damage to my ship. The pirate 'Maestro' who had a Bretonian
Millitary ID seeing my ships stricken state engaged. My firefight with the
Lane hacker had blown of my thrusters, disabled my shield and criticaly
damaged my hull. As I closed with Nago station to attempt to dock Maestro
closed and dispatched my ship forcing me to eject. I didn't manage to get
a pict recording. ((I think the screen shot got deleted))

Upon entering Shikoku System, I encountered two Xenos Terrorists calling themselves part of the 'DDE' clan. Few words were needed as we immediately engaged each other over Planet Junyo.
The Terrorists were in Eagle fighters attacking KNF forces stationed in orbit. I pitted my superior firepower against their agility. The brazen terrorists continued to attack one of our destroyers even with me firing at them!
The cruiser's scanners must have been damaged from the fight - soon it put out the call that I was also one of the terrorists, so then I also had to evade hostile fire from the local militia.
I destroyed one of the hostiles outright, and drove the other off the battlefield. However by this point a third had stepped into the battle and my resources were too badly depleted to win the day.
Fortunately this was not a deep space battle, and my pod was rescued by a passing trader.
Be advised this clan is still operating in Shikoku!

Upon entering Honshu, I came across nothing less than a beached whale, washed upon the shores of the Blue Lagoon!
I speak figuratively of course. It was a Liberty Carrier, full Police ID but not aligned with any Liberty Faction I am aware of.
The ship was clearly piloted by an inexperienced and disoriented crew. After some persuasion I was able to escort them out of Kusari Space without any hostilities.

Blimey - how to adress a Kusari command. Its all easier within the Gaians community. So in need of a direct addressee i have to make that a general request. To get to the point of it, i hereby request the consent to be allowed to purchase a Kusari Gunboat.
You might ask why a Gaian would ask for such an exception of the kusari naval rules for selling high end equipment to so called Gaijins, it was that term you guys use, i think. Now i ll give you a few reasons why you may consider that.
Firstly, we Gaians do share a vision about a space that is beautiful and untouched by the filthy hand of human greed. The bretonian queen and her puppets have allowed the exploitation of the bretonian space for too long, turning the system of leeds into a dusty and mouldy place, with radioactive clouds occupying most of its space. But still the destruction of the system goes on. BMM keeps exploiting those system resources and even worse, planetform inc. expands their grip onto new worlds in their evil attempt to taint those aswell.
secondly, i have been travelling the Kusari space and i allmost had to cry about a space being in harmony and beauty so much. Of course the Kusari do aswell manipulate the nature to their needs, which i do not approve, but at least they appear to have a high respect for it. the gardens on kyushu, the cobalt blue oceans of New Tokyo and the harmony between man and nature; that is something we fight for in bretonia. But sadly enough, there can t be harmony on a planet like leeds, when there is no nature left. you are hard to find a single natural plant there, and only synthetic nature can survive the smog and dust.
thirdly, i am willing to more activly assist the KNF in their effords against bretonia. of course we Gaians allready play a significiant part in weakening the BAF, by financing protests on leeds, bringing the production to a halt and scaring traders off the routes. but there are the more brave traders, yet short sighted that supply the bretonian warmachine with all the needed materials, and its rather hard to stand against such opposition wtihout the proper power. So allthough i would not give up my devotion to the Gaians, i would certainly direct my effords more into weakening the economy of bretonia for the good of kusari.
and lastly i am aswell willing to donate to the cause of kusari, if it takes more than the price of a kusari gunboat to purchase it from the KNF.
Do not look upon the Gaians as if we were mindless terrorists or petty criminals. We do have a vision - and do not enjoy the steps that had to be taken. We are loyal people and fight with our hearts. we do not harm or kill those that we do not necessarily have to harm, because our cause is self defense, defense from the destruction of nature and self defense from those whos eyes are too clouded to see the truth. you shall be aware that i am making an official request - rather than just flying to one of your yards and nick one; you d be surprised what you can get when you hand over the right amount of money - but of course i would have never thought about that. - aswell you might notice that i feel myself drawn to the kusaris rather than the gaian allies, the corsairs, who - allthough fighting a brave war, would be ill suited to govern any of bretonias space.
i do hope you consider my request - i will lay low for some time on outpost holman."

Upon patrol in Kyushu, I was hailed by a non-aligned Blood Dragon Gunboat 'Telecaster'.
This criminal had the gall to demand payment from me! I pursued the criminal towards the Hokkaido Jump Hole, where he stated he would be joined by a 'friend'.
This 'friend' turned out to be no less than a Nova PG Gunboat, and both ships proceeded to attack without restraint.
I could not prevail against such force. Should my pod survive, I shall be making my feelings on this matter known over the secure channels.

No sooner had I returned to active duty, I encountered no less thatn three Bushido and Nova Talons - including Lord Hydra himself!
No hostilities were forthcoming however. The Bushido at least accepted my explanation that I am under standing orders not to engage.
Lord Hydra informed me that the Nova indeed consider the KNF to be KoS - notice given too late to save my gunboat...
