The future of mining? - Stoat - 03-02-2011 Turn it back on. The problem with mining is that there are too many people in too few areas. Spread the love. Have more mining spots with equal returns and people will spread out, reducing the levels of stupidity currenty found in Dublin and Omega 7. Also ensure trading is more profitable. I hear something of the like will be happening when .86 comes along. The future of mining? - Not Espi - 03-02-2011 i find it amusing that the self-proclaimed 'mining rp enthusiasts' complain about not being able to mine. you cans till mine. just mine standard commodities in different fields. if you like shooting rocks so much, you will do so with less profit. issue solved. good night, and good fight. edit: go mine water. good yield, shabby profit, but since you get off on filling a transport with cargo from space ... The future of mining? - CzeReptile - 03-02-2011 You do realize that pirates are the problem of this right? Spread out people, make closer selling points etc etc. The future of mining? - Geeky - 03-02-2011 This was a horrible, horrible idea.. Why remove mining? Sure, lots of players do it.. Lots of players pvp aswell, maybe you should turn that off? All in all, this is one of the definately most horrible decisions made by the admins, as said hundreds of times in this topic. Undo it please.. Btw, to you guys saying people should make more mining spots that are profitable, there -are-.. simply, when people find new mining spots far away that nobody else knows, they won't tell people? Why? 'Cause they'll be run over by pvp-hungry lolwut pirates looking for more targets. Also.. FYI, this might kill the mining factions. IMG, BMM, Daumann, Kruger.. All gone... The future of mining? - Vito - 03-02-2011 ' Wrote:Also.. FYI, this might kill the mining factions. IMG, BMM, Daumann, Kruger.. All gone... Daumann is ready to take that risk The future of mining? - Korny - 03-02-2011 Stupid idea. Simply add more mining spots (PROFITABLE ONES) than just Dublin, T-23 and whatnot. Think about Kusari, which needs a boost in activity, for example. Anyway, terrible idea. Will only cause more problems and whining. I also agree with nerfing mining profit so it's balanced with trading. The future of mining? - SA_Scavenger - 03-02-2011 ' Wrote:Lots of players pvp aswell, maybe you should turn that off? Yep I agree. I see way too many complaints about ganking and no RP and 2milordai. Or what about Mercs or traders even? Why do we have any of this stuff. Come on guys, just adapt! You don't need any of it to RP, right? The future of mining? - Cris - 03-02-2011 ' Wrote:Stupid idea. Simply add more mining spots (PROFITABLE ONES) than just Dublin, T-23 and whatnot. Those that do.. are probably a little insane. Trading generally is a solo activity, thus it actually reduces RP. Mining on the other hand, can be done (Poorly ) solo.. but excels in group environments. So yeah.. I'd consider mining to encourage RP more then trading does. If you want to look at a problem, look at pirates. 90% of them have very little good RP, and only want either credits or to blow up people for their own personal pleasure. So yeah... turn back mining, and nerf pirates. (How bout we limit what they can demand? to values more in touch.. with RP) |
