When I first came into life, I hoped to be a farmer like my dad, to carry the tradition. I wanted to help Gather the cardamine for sirius and of course, for Malta. In school me and my friends were always doing dangerous things (which my parents would have been very unhappy with, if they ever found out), we were basically adrenaline junkies. So while I knew my life would not be filled with adrenaline and risks, I knew that life didn't always turn out how you planned. Maybe I would find a wonderful wife and settle down, who knows. But after a long hot day on the farm I collapsed onto the couch and turned on the TV. First thing I saw was an ad for the Outcast Space Fleet, they were recruiting.
When I saw this I realised what I was meant for in life, to protect our land and space. My dad was still in good condition to run the farm himself, and we had stockpiled a fair amount of money over the years to hire a farm hand or even retire. When I asked my parents what they though about me joining the Fleet, they were shocked. My dad was stunned through out the conversation, but my mum was enthusiastic about it. She told me that she never thought I could settle down in a farmers life, it was too quiet for me. After a long 3 hours, my parents said yes.
My first ship was a dagger, mainly doing erands like messaging and scouting for my commander. I only saw action a couple times, 2 times with the corsairs and 4 or 5 within Kusari and I nearly got caught by their navy once. This was terrifying and electrifying at the same time, the adrenaline junky inside was boiling again, It wanted more. Shortly after, I am here applying for the 101st.
So while I admit my love for adrenaline can carry me away, I believe that I could be a useful addition to the 101st.

1) Why the 101st Outcast Guard?
Ever since I started playing freelancer (before I found Discovery and possibly before it was released) I loved the sheer amount of exploring you could do. Exploring Liberty and other houses wasn't very exciting, but exploring the Omicrons was. You found all these awesome things like wrecks, nomads, the best ships, WIERD suns and eventually the Hispania (I fist pumped and cried out with joy when I found it). I actually got into exploring when I made my first 'baddie' character. That character gave me the most fun I've had in a loooong time.
Summary+extra stuff: Because I love being unlawful and being in the omicrons. I also find the outcasts deeper than the corsairs. AND because the outcasts didn't ditch their ship, while the corsairs did (I think I read this somewhere). This tells me that the corsairs and cowards and outcasts are brave. For some reason I also see outcasts as the underdogs, and I like underdogs.
2) What are two things that you enjoy doing in real-life besides playing freelancer?
Sport (official or unofficial) and joking with friends.
3) What would the last sentence of your autobiography be?
And...so...yeh...thats my autobiography thingy, hope you liked it or whatever.
4) If you could be a fictional character (from a film, book, comic, etc...), who would it be, and why?
This is a hard one. Maybe Hancock without the attitude. Someone who can either fly or be agile without stupid gadjets. Too bad David Belle isn't fictional;)
EDIT: Hmm...maybe Jason Bourne, he is pretty ninja.
I do have a mic but I don't have skype.
And I hope we were meant to be creating these characters from our heads, and then create them and do w/e from there cos that's what I did.

A envelop is delivered to the 101st recruiting office on Planet Malta, Omicron-Alpha. Within the envelop contains a letter requesting admission into the guard. The signature on it was quite unique though, it had encrusted the center of it a old Molly Republic/Union of Gold emblem. Though the letter read as followed.
To 101st Recruiting Officers,
'Ello der me lads! A few months ago, ye' man Jameson allowed me to escape the bitter Mollys as they've now become and begin anew 'ere as a Outcasts. In 'hem months, I've adapted, I've learned the language, and me hate for dem 'sairs grows beyond comparison. And though the Mollys were me home, I feel betrayed by them and if the rising tension excel to the sense of battle, I'll be sure to be the one's teaching them a lesson only a true-blooded Union of Gold could hand out.
But never mind the past lad, *adjusts his voice to his second language* Hola, Senors y senoritas, me llamo Senor David DeWester, y yo hablar a tu ahora por que yo quiero to join el guard. Pretty good ey!? Well I won't deny it, my first language or accent as I've been told 'round this part of space will be truly Molly-ish. But as you can see, the classes I've attended here on Malta have quickly crafted me into the language common 'ere in the Omicrons. But in the case this is forgotten, I grew up as a Molly in the republic during the era of me father, Councilor "Ghost". But after his..*pauses for a second* death, I've took me anger out on dem 'Sairs, separated me self from them to hunt down these bastards. By the time I returned, the Republic fell, and I wouldn't stay around to see it crumble. So exiling me self from them, I came 'ere seeking homage. And it was given. In return, I ask to join ye' in the guard to fight alongside those who seek the same as me, to kill some 'Sairs! And of course defend the home that was given to me. I may be a Molly inside, but I've adapted. Gracias in advanced senors.

My favorite, movie as well as a motivational one for me that involves my future plans in life(not necessarily the Army, but Air Force). I loved his sense of humor in such a stressful time. After all I rather die with a laugh than with a frown.

Leonardo Vintaz is a 36 year old pilot, his early life was quite normal, he never knew his father and was brought up by a single mother. At the age of 20 he left his home on Malta and was intregued by the size of the universe. He wanted to explore the vast depths of space before he committed to doing any real work of sorts. His voyages took him to various places, some in the Omicrons, and some in the Tau, but he knew where his home was.
When Leonardo reached 29, he returned to Malta to see his mother once again, but this would be a lost trip, as she had passed away several weeks before his return. Leonardo became very isolated in his early 30s, and wanted to be part of something and explore at the same time, He had thought of signing up but his mother disagreed, Leonardo has a suspicion that this is why she wouldn't say about his father; because he had died in a previous war. He eventually decided that the local military just wasn't for him, and went to try get into the Sigma systems, but encountered a raging battle at one of the Jumpholes that he was planning to enter.
The fight appeared to be a military engagement with some outcasts, Leonardo always had some resistant feelings toward the government and it's oppression, and felt like this was purely a battle of attrition between the two factions. Soon came his decision about what he would do, he chose to assist the outlaws over the military, and began firing upon the craft and opening communication with the outcast squadren.
"Thanks for the assistance freelancer" One of the wingmen said.
Leonardo nodded, and him and the patrol soon disposed of the craft and opened communications once again.
"Who are you?" Leonardo asked.
"We're the Outcasts, we were patrolling this jumphole when they came along, we didn't have much choice." They replied. "Come with us, and we may be able to offer you something."
"Alright." he replied, joining formation with the fighters. This one encounter would soon lead to Leonardo becomming part of the Outcasts, until today, where he was offered the opportunity to transfer to the 101st.

Been looking for some very remote RP, by that I mean RPing in less known systems and getting involved with some pirate RP, I enjoy roleplaying as Rogues etc, but Outcasts are alot more organized faction, which Is why I wish to apply and see if I can add to the roleplay you guys already thrive in, the activity of the 101st also is more than other pirate factions, So I think i'd do well here.
2) What are two things that you enjoy doing in real-life besides playing freelancer?
Programming and PC Gaming.
