RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Silver - 01-07-2014

Her eyes were keen. And her voice was certain.

"I wouldn't put the jab there if i didn't felt it. I knew it would amuse you."

Silver threw a wedding ring onto the top of the Field Marshall's table.

"I traveled Sirius.. And i have seen Hell and Heaven. Nothing compares to that. Targets, death, blood.. For a very long time, it was all my eyes saw. It was my own my bidding."

She smiled and threw her head back, like she trusted the liquid that was in her glass. And the one, pouring into the glass.

"I cannot live no more. Not for credits, not for myself and not for death. I am here to live and die for the ones that truly understand the meaning.. of living."

She eyed the wedding ring and sighed.

"Death is comin'. I don't matter who or what. I only care 'bout doing what should be done. Gallia is comin'. Kusari is replenishing. Liberty is holdin'. Rheinland is gettin' stronger. The 'Sairs are gettin' bolder."

Silver slighty caressed the wedding ring.

"And i am lookin' to do what is best for this 'verse for the rest of my years... or for my seconds that i have remainin'."

Silver looked at the Marshall.

"'Cause greed.... is the worse of our flaws."

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Aphil - 01-07-2014

"My goodness, that's quite a little story you have there." he said, toying with his cup of Vodka. "So, a Reaver, and a rather infamous one at that has had a change of heart and decided that it's just not worth it anymore, is that it?" he said while smirking a little bit.

"I must give credit where it's due however, it's quite a brave thing to walk into the bears lair. Especially if you have no idea of what we could do to you." he said.

"So, what was it that put you off of the little life you had? Surely it's not the killing, otherwise you wouldn't be here. Was it perhaps the fact that you were someones play thing? Bought and discarded like tissues? Or perhaps toilet paper would be a more appropriate comparison." he paused for a moment and took a shot of Vodka. "I meant no disrespect of course, we all have to make a living, even if it's quite distasteful. So tell me, what's all this about doing the right thing for Sirius?"

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Silver - 01-07-2014

She smirked at the mention of used toilet paper.

"Peace put me off."

Silver replied, nursing her drink.

"This last year and half, i was enjoying my retirement. Already had my sunny way out. 'Nough money to live the rest of my life in comfort.. A lot of comfort. And then.."

She looked into the glass, remembering the feeling.

"I grew restless. Like a sick throb in the back of my head, every time i saw a ship. Every time i saw a gun."

Silver eyed Garcia, and chuckled.

"So.. i came back. But.. what i was doing in past.. Now it ain't 'nough. I can't do it for the credit no more. Sirius and Gallia.. are all 'bout credits. That's why this 'verse is effed up as it is."

She then savored the vodka, and winced.

"Good stuff... So. I decided.. Either die than wither in a green sick cottage out of boredom, or fight, if you'll have me. And that is why i came to you, fine people."

Silver looked at Garcia again.

"Because you can give me what i want. Death. Or a fight that ain't 'bout greed."

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Aphil - 01-07-2014

Garcia simply smiled at Silver for a moment before going into his drawer and retrieving a vial of liquid. "In a moment you'll start feeling the effects of the poison that was in the Vodka. It's not lethal I assure you, but it will incapacitate you." he said as he was injecting himself with the antidote.

"I'm afraid that you made it a little too easy when you came here. The SCRA has never been known for being merciful and neither have I." he said, now motioning for the guards to put her under arrest. "I'm afraid that I have a confession to make. I have no intention of either killing you or letting you step foot near an SCRA Fighter." he now stood up so he could see Silvers eyes widen. "You will be put on trial for the murders you have committed throughout your life, for being an enemy of the state and for the crime of simply being Mercenary filth." he smiled before continuing. "When you are found guilty of this you will be sent to the farthest corner of the coldest prison in Volgograd. You will remain there for the rest of what remains of your pathetic life." he said. He motioned towards the guards to take her out of the office and they made sure to check her for any hidden weapons or explosives she might have brought as a precaution.

"I trust you'll enjoy our hospitality. Bye." he said, giving her a small wave as she was dragged off, the poison kicking in and rendering her unconscious.

Within the week she would be put on trial and sentenced to a fate worse than death. He had lied when he said she was going to be sent to prison. Instead, she was going to become a part of The Vault much like Han Xu and countless others. Silver would become a part of the SCRA but not in the way she could have ever imagined.

Garcia could only smile at himself at this little victory he had acquired.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - t0l - 01-17-2014

A man sat next in line in the waiting room, hunched over onto a clipboard that held his paperwork in place. He scribbled at it until, eventually, every line and box contained text. Finished, he promptly pushed himself off the chair and started for the secretary's desk, only to be stopped by the doors swinging open, followed by the sight of two guards pulling the unconscious body of a rather attractive looking female out of the room.

For a second, he simply stood there, staring at the limp body as it was dragged away, in a state of curiosity and disbelief, mouth half-open.

"Uh oh" were the only syllables that came into his mind, the clipboard still in his hand, extended out in front of him. The pen, which was chained onto the board, was dangling down the side.

He simply stared on as the body was dragged out of the lobby, and quickly shook his head, starting for the secretary's desk again, handing the clipboard to her. She nodded at him and said a simple "thank you".

Anxiety beginning to settle in, he returned to his seat in the waiting room, leaning back into the chair and seating his hands firmly in his lap.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Tabris - 01-17-2014

Just as the man was starting to settle in the doors to the recruitment office burst open harshly, a pair of men in black armour walk in, their unfeeling visored eyes scanning the room until they land on the man who was attempting to relax in a chair. One of the men pulled out a stun baton and pointed it at the poor man.

"You citizen!" the baton-wielding man growled, almost as if the poor muppet had done something to offend his very soul. Striding forwards his free hand which had what felt like a steel grip, likely due to the powered armour he was wearing, lifted him up into the air by his shirt, brought him close to his visor and smirked underneath the helmet.

"Your presence has been...Requested Citizen, try to not struggle...Or you can, it may be more fun for us that way." The man chuckles after he finishes this statement, finding amusement at the man's situation before planting him onto his feet and frog-marching him out of the waiting room and into one of the offices. The office itself was bare aside from two chairs at either sides of a plain steel table. The man is roughly shoved into the chair facing the door while the man's partner takes up guard behind the seated applicant.

The man who frog-marched him in waved his baton threateningly in his face before giving a soft growl of annoyance.

"Stay put, don't speak unless spoken to and by Katz's grace do NOT provoke the man you are about to meet." was all he said before letting the man go and leaving the room, his buddy following close behind him, leaving the applicant alone in the room with nothing but steel walls to gaze upon...

Thankfully the man did not have to wait very long, the door slid open once again, this time admitting a tall man with short blonde hair walked in, his blue eyes were punctuated by wire-frame glasses while his uniform looked almost identical to those used by officers of the Fighter Corps but instead of the usual ranks one would find the collar was blue with a small pin denoting his place in the Ministry of Truth.

The man calmly sat down across from the man and folded his hands across one another. His gaze was as cold as a Volgograd winter as he took in the other man's appearance. Judging by his expression he was not impressed at all...

When he spoke it was in a calm even tone, not giving any emotions away, almost making him sound like a machine in the form of a human being.

"So...You wish to join the Revolutionary Army...State your name for the Record...'Citizen'."

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - t0l - 01-17-2014

"J-Jason Howard, s-sir." said the man, visibly sweating and disoriented by the previous events. He dared say nothing else in an effort to not piss off his interviewer.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - Tabris - 01-17-2014

The Commissar sneers at the man's stutter and leans forwards all so slightly, what a weak little muppet before him...Somehow he suspected Garcia attempting to get a 'one up' in their little...skirmish by sending him to interview this applicant.

"Well J-Jason Howard..." he replies mockingly, his gaze slowly turning back into his Ice King facade as his sneer vanishes from his face, he pushes the bridge of his glasses back up to his nose as they had started to slowly slip off from it.

"From my first glance at you and how you've responded I have decided one thing..." he stated in a calm and even voice, however if the man looked carefully they could detect a hint of scorn in the man's eyes as he gazed at him.

'You are a spine-less muppet who is not even fit for toilet duty onboard the Havana after burrito night, so why should the Revolutionary Army allow a man who cannot even muster the courage to say his own name to an officer without stuttering like a shy Kusari teen on her first date?" he demands harshly yet not raising his voice at all.

RE: SCRA Recruitment Centre - t0l - 01-17-2014

He took a deep breath before beginning.

"Well, sir," he said, somewhat courageously, "I'm w-willing to do whatever it takes to stick it to the capitalist bastards that took my job and left me for dead, and I don't plan on giving up."

He lowered his head and stared at his feet, hands still resting in his lap, and exhaled, leaning back in the seat as he did so.

"Everything," he muttered somewhat quietly, "First my job, then my house, then my girl, then nearly my life."

He sighed.
