Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Berny - 09-20-2012

+1

Also, works perfectly when entire folder gets moved out of Program Files to Dropbox or Google drive folder. This way you can keep all you accounts backed up and synced to all OSs/computers you use all the time.

Just be carefull if you try to export an account to be shared. It will export all your accounts not just the one you selected. I made this mistake and 2 people have access to every single one of my ships.

There's a very simple way to export only needed accounts: edit account list in separate copy, launch FLAM or Launcher 1.3 and export all. This way you can export all faction shared accounts into 1 file easy

Where to find the adf file? I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks in advance.

When the Launchpad is running, look to the top. You should have File, Accounts, and Help.

Click:
Accounts -> Export -> To ADF...
Then save the ADF file wherever you want.

You use the software to save your accounts to an ADF file. You can choose to save only selected accounts or all accounts to the ADF file.

Importing an ADF file will let you access accounts saved on that ADF file.

Works nice, once I figured I have to run as admin for it to work. Windows 7.

When I try to run in windowed mode I get an error saying freelancer does not find a "3D card capable video card" . Not sure why. I am running 2 GTX 580s in SLI. Not sure why it is looking for 3D card.

Now I have lost my characters, I have no idea why, but they seem to be gone. Just Great.

What specifically happened? If your account is empty on the server, make sure you have the correct account activated.

If all your accounts are missing from the launchpad list, close launchpad without saving. That'll revert any unsaved changes, like accounts being deleted.

If worst comes to worst, I'll do a manual check when I get home, if you PM me the character names.

My online accounts are not detecting by the LaunchPad. I changed the installation directory to C:\Users\Sunam\AppData\Local\Discovery Freelancer 4.86.0\EXE. But still it says that no accounts found. The actual message is

The account currently activated does not exist in the known accounts. Would you like to create an account for it now?

But I can launch client from Launchpad and use the characters online in Discovery RP Server. I need to change those Characters to my Home PC. The characters are not even detected by the Launchpad. I tried to use Import option. But I dont know where the file exists( to import).

Just press "Yes" ? So lunchpad can save the current account.

Btw, the luchpad itself doesnt save the characters but the accounts each account can has 5 chars at once.

When your account reach its limit you have to create a new account. The list of accounts you have got, appear in your lunchpad.
