Subject: Recon and a Smuggler

Greetings Command,

Today, I underwent two patrols around the threatened DSE base in Kansas, however no hostiles were around during the patrols. Later during the day, I flew as Admiral Sader's wingman on patrol. Mostly quiet, we met a transport who had referred to us as scum, before rapidly fleeing. Following orders, the vessel was tracked and questioned on the comment, though after being caught, remained exceedingly quiet and attempted to flee. The vessel was given multiple warnings, but continued to remain silent and fled. Citing Harris syndrome, we engaged and destroyed the vessel.

Follow the encounter, we location a Zoner smuggling artifacts and cardamine. The vessel was stopped infront of Battleship Rio Grande, and the contraband was destroyed, and fine issued.

Subject: SCRA and Outcast warships

Greetings Command,

During patrol this morning, I had chanced upon two battling enemy warships, one belonging to the Outcasts, and the other, oddly enough, was an SCRA Destroyer. The two warships were already engaged upon my arrival and I had stood down, letting the two duel until backup arrived. However, while I was intent on letting the victor be left to us, the engagement was broken off with the timely arrival of the Odyssey, Florida and Texan.Hospitality. The SCRA destroyer began to flee while we concentrated fire on finishing the Outcast warship. The Outcast was destroyed while I took pursuit of the destroyer.

While proving slippery, I had chased the warship to each end of the New York system, then to Texas, where the warship had exhausted its flares, and was held until backup arrived once more. While we attempted to secure the vessel, the crew had been uncooperative, and chose destruction over arrest. The scrap fields serve as the vessels resting place.

Greetings Command,

Once I began my patrol, I was contacted by two First Fleet pilots about a breach in Zone 21. Responding immediately, I set course for the minefield. Upon arrival, a Freelancer gunboat giving off a Police IFF was being questioned by present pilots John Mayer and Adam Watson. The vessel was carrying nomadic cargo, and with the addition of being within the Z21 perimeter, was not permitted to leave. Shortly after, it's shield generator failed, and we stopped receiving communication from the crew. The vessel was destroyed and cargo retrieved by John Mayer. It is now secure aboard Long Island.

Subject: An interesting Outcast Destroyer

Greetings Command,

During patrol today and Outcast warship near West Point. The captain of of the ship was very intent on not engaging with Navy forces, leading myself and accompanying pilot Yuna~Sato to chase it into the badlands and then to just off of the Norfolk-Texas Jumpgate trade lane.

After being stopped and questioned, the vessel remained intent on causing no harm to Navy or civilians, intent on being present to, oddly enough, face off against the Rogues. With the firepower of LNS-Iowa present, I'm sure it had some persuasion to the decision, but it could have easily engaged myself and the bomber in the badlands, but didn't. The captain had been burned by the Rogues and wanted blood. Perhaps something we could capitalize on.

Subject: I need tonight off duty

Greetings Command,

Where to begin. To start, a report came in of a Lane Hacker doing some pirating, and Armada and myself investigated. Upon arrival, the Hacker, Roxanna Willmore, seemed jumpy and nervous, immediately fleeing the scene. We gave chase but lost pursuit in the badlands. However a short time after, an Interspace transport reported her presence once more. I took Armada's advice and went in alone, intent on talking with her instead of engaging. Something wasn't right and we both knew it.

Upon arrival, Willmore fled again, but I managed to calm her and we talked. We slowly drifted through Texas at impulse speaking, I was trying to gain her trust, but she was very hesitant and didn't give it to me in the system. She engaged cruise and began to flee, but instead of disrupting her I gave chase, figuring I had gotten to assertive and needed to calm her again. We flew into California, then back into the badlands. Fearing for her safety if she returned to the Hackers, I called in Armada, Elena Voigt, and gunboat St. Lo to assist in the search, giving explicit orders to not engage if found. We encircled her between West Point and the California jumpgate. We spoke more, slowly gaining her trust.

What I could gather is this. A man named Marco had been using her as muscle to stick up transports to provide for him. Her mother, a true to the name Hacker, could possibly try to kill her if she turned away from the Hackers, to which I vowed to protect her, even if it meant putting the fleet between the Hackers and her. As the conversation continued, my support was redirected by Admiral Sader, while I stayed to continue. After some time, and pushing many people after a bounty away, I brought her and her friend aboard my yacht for protection and to hopefully convince her to get away from the pull of the Hackers.

Following this, I resumed patrol and stumbled upon an in-progress stop by Armada and his entourage. A pirate using a Junker fighter to smuggle black market small arms and a personal weapon. After some talking, Armada unleashed his firepower upon him and the pirate was destroyed. I picked up the small arms and handed them over to Norfolk personnel for lockup.

Following this, we engaged a force of Unioners in Bering. After a hrd fought battle, we had come out victorious. Resuming patrol, two rather suspicious LSF Agents were located and questioned, but upon being attacked, I engaged the two agents in defense of Agent Woods. An Outcast joined the battle and shortly after my craft was shot down.

A little before One Thirty the Yosemite was returning from War Game operations in the New Hampshire system and had just entered the Virginia system when we came upon a Oder class gunboat. The vessels CO claimed that Rheinland Military Vessels were allowed to freely traverse Liberty Space. I denied that claim and ordered him to reverse course out of the system. I believe given the vessels apparent course to the New Hampshire jumphole that the Suchende was attempting to gather intelligence on Battlegroup Whitefield.

The Suchende was encountered again, this time at the Magellan Jump Gate in the California System. The vessel withdrew immediately to Magellan after the Yosemite entered radar range. I recommend the vessel now be treated as a hostile target.

Subject: Dreadnoughts and Fighters

Greetings Command,

During the beginning of today's patrol, I received word of two Outcast warships roaming New York, however these ships were never found. However, one Outcast dreadnought was found within threatening proximity of the Pennsylvania jump anomaly. Myself, alongside Forlorn|-Elena,Voigt, and Yuna~Sato engaged the warship after it entered Pennsylvania, however it seemed taking the fight into the asteroid field proved to be fatal for the warship, as it's demise came shortly after exiting the field. The two pilots were paid their bounty on the craft as it was unclear who fired the final blow.

Following this ordeal, Cadet Denton joined the squadron in space, where we met another Outcast Dreadnought just outside Planet Erie, though the vessel seemed to be heavily damaged from weapons fire from Gettysburg and the defense grid. Lieutenant Watson, Cadet Denton, Yuna~Sato, and myself engaged the craft, delivering the final blows.

To finish off this patrol, I brought the crew of the Madison out for the rounds, where we met Admiral Sader and Commander Blake in the field. Receiving urgent reports of a Coalition pilot, my crew and I responded as quickly as possible. Upon my arrival, a Lane Hacker had entered the fray. The Coalition pilot seemed more than happy to engage in battle with the Hacker, to which Admiral Sader and I stood down and allowed them their duel.

However, during the latter stages of the battle, a loud-mouthed Freelancer mentioned how they'd have more power against the Admiral and my warship together than alone. This caused the Coalition pilot to disengage and escape, fleeing the scene. The Hacker was not so fortunate as he was brought out of cruise in time and engaged by Admiral Sader, with the Madisons missiles on standby. After a lengthy engagement and brief chase, the order was given and our ordnance was let loose. The first volley suffered a malfunction which is being corrected now, but the second was on target. The escape pod made it out, but the vessel was scrapped by two LGM-14 missiles. Proudly to say, the vessel's first confirmed kill.

Greetings Command,

I see that Lieutenant Prower has managed to file their report before I had the chance to log my own. I undocked from Erie and immediately joined up patrolling with Lt. Prower and the LNS-Lexington. During our patrol, we came across an incredibly bold SCRA pilot terrorising New York, however, were unable to chase them off during our early encounters with them. As Lt. Prower states we ran into an Outcast Dreadnought above Erie and were, fortunately, able to destroy it. We were also able to secure the freedom of numerous Liberty pilots who were being kept prisoner aboard the ship and transport them to Erie for medical treatment. Truly a good days work. All I can add to Lt. Prower's report is the image from my gun camera of the last moments of the destroyer.

Situations like that make me proud to be able to serve Liberty in the 5th.

Greetings Command,

Patrol today to begin was routine. Pilot caught carrying some of our own was stopped and pilots rescued. However, during a call of BIS Agents being held at gunpoint, I arrived to join the Yosemite at the scene. The initial matter had been dealt with, however our allies had a great deal of information to pass in. The first of which, which will explain the high encryption, is a request for the LSF to extend operatives into the Omega's to assist the BIS. It seems the BIS has also uncovered an additional connection between the Junkers and certain Revolutionary groups as well, but of course this doesn't have solid evidence, but is a reasonable conclusion to get to. Yet another reason to take over or dispose of Rochester base.

Another item worth of note connected to the rise of Coalition activity within our borders, during the recent incident within Omega 7, the Red Hessians did something very of note. Rather than engage the Nomadic forces, they rushed to secure a supply line to other revolutionaries than engage in combat as recent reports show. Along with increased cooperation from the Junkers, this may answer our why the Coalition has begun their operations in Liberty, it is also know they are operating in Bretonia aswell.

One final thing to mention here before sending the recording of our conversation. The BIS is curious as to whether or not they have permission to operate freely within our borders or not. Our communications will be attached.

Shortly after three-thirty the Yosemite entered the Alaska system and met with a "Constable:Lisa_Anne." who appeared to be unmooring from Juneau. The good Constable had just acquired a Archer Siege Cruiser for use in the Pennsylvania system to counter a growing threat from the Legion. The Constable indicated that in recent weeks attacks from the Legion went from sporadic to almost constant. These attacks coupled with general pirate activity has apparently caused a strain on local security forces. I would like to recommend additional units be assigned to the area.
