Subject: A Hudson Hullabaloo

Greetings friends,

After our foray into Dublin, we went back to our standard route, the Paradise Limited (Curacao - Baden Baden - Manhattan/Pittsburgh). We managed to get through Bretonia and the Omegas without incident save for a taciturn exchange of credits with a pirate flying Junker colors. Flying out of Rheinland, I settled in for an uneventful flight through Liberty only to be stopped at the Hudson gate on the Rheinland side.

The Xeno "Ridgenose" greeted me on the other side. Obviously our politics with the Xenos are... complicated, but this one seemed civil enough, only wanting a cigar from the humidor. Having plenty to spare, I sent one over and we proceeded to talk about the politics of the Rheinland and Liberty civil wars. Some Navy folk showed up, but they did not seem intent on giving the Xeno too hard a time. Things were tense, but civil, until the FTP showed up.

I don't know if there's bad blood between the Junkers and the Xenos or what, but the Free Trade People interrupted Ridgenose's top tier banter with laser fire, which made for better fireworks but less drama for the passengers on board. The FTP gunboat and fighter teamed up to take out the Xeno, much to the disappointment of the ship's observation lounge and betting windows.

However, the gunboat was carrying Nomad ordinance, which lead to another tense standoff with the Navy ships. When the Xeno Viper showed up to avenge his colleague, I decided that Breezewood was pushing its luck and went for the tradelane at the advice of the Navy. It was a good thing, too. As we came out of the lanes at Cold Bay, we saw a handful of Rogue ships enter the lane heading for the Hundson gate. Seems word travels fast, and once the shooting started, EVERYONE wanted a piece of the action.

Long story short, I salvaged the cigar from Ridgenose's debris. Next time we cross paths, I owe them a smoke.

Good Day,

We managed to make a loop of the Dublin racetrack, can't let Seaborne have all the fun. We managed to make a turn in 2:35.33, no doubt helped by our rather compact frame. We then made our way out to Delta, a rather uneventful journey. Our return however was, I wouldn't say exciting, rather exasperating. I spoke with a member of the Order, who likened herself to an educator, while we loaded up Pilgrims. She did offer an escort, although looking back I doubt I would have agreed had I know it came with a large amount of pressure to "learn" about the horrors of the sector.

In short this Captain was rather interested in getting the Stagecoach to go to a nearby system. alone with only them for escort. To be "taught" something. To be frank I've heard of more absurd starts to a hostage crisis but this one certainly is running for poll position. I don't know how to take the conversation to be honest. After saying no in so many fantastic ways we finally departed for Freeport 9 where we parted ways.

Additionally the idle threat of boarding the Stagecoach I will be doubling our complement of onboard marines in addition to more comprehensive intruder alert drill on our turnaround days in port...

My dearest Caitlyn, I have been rather hesitant to establish any sort of direct relations with known terrorists less than desirable elements within the sector. For a multitude of reasons. What do you say you do a dear old man a favor and see what this Order Captain actually wants to teach us about? A Captain Holt, Order|CV-Autumn.

Faithfully Yours,
Captain Bancroft

Subject: A Quick Turnaround

Greetings friends,

Breezewood had a curious exchange in California. We were transporting VIPs from Curacao to Bethlehem to connect to their return flights when we came across the 46th stopping an Imperial Shipping vessel near Riverside. The Navy flyer, James Creed, asked "Can you explain to this clown he can't carry those socialites on that ship?" Curious, I scanned the Rheinlander's Titanic and saw it was packed to the gills with scrap metal and socialites. How he convinced the young ladies of Liberty's influencer scene to step into a metal filled cargo hold is beyond me, but I dutifully informed Regnar.Willer.T that he was in violation of Liberty law for transporting passengers in a ship not rated for humans (thanks for the protectionism, Liberty!).

Regnar was distraught, though, having contracted to get the socialites to Curacao. When the navy ship demanded that he offload the socialites onto Riverside until suitable transportation could be arranged, we captains both simultaneously realized it was a terrible idea to dump 2,000 frustrated socialites onto Synth Foods and expect a happy ending. "Maybe Breeze can move them," he offered, "but I can't trust the navy to make sure they will be moved to Cortez."

I offloaded the VIPs to Riverside (600 people looking to arrange transfer flights home is a LOT easier to deal with with 2,000 socialites who have just had their vacations delayed), scooped up the girls, and turned around for Curacao. I even gave the captain 2 million for his trouble since the Navy pilot was losing patience with him and charged him for the "delay." All in all, I think everyone walked away happy.

Well, except those on the Riverside base. Sorry, Synth!

Subject: A Convoy Some Mollys and a Nomad

Greetings Friends

Today the OS&C|TE-Cloud-9 was on another Testflight as her Refit Nears its Ends. today and we had a Pretty Hefty Ride, first, we were Asked by a Mining Convoy for some Protection. they Mined Gold in Dublin and we Agreed to Protect them if they Fill the Cloud 9 with Gold too. the Mollys from the DRA came by to get some "Taxes", we paid and the Miners filled the Cloud 9 With Gold, a nice thing to Pay some of the Costs for the Refit of the Cloud 9 by DSE. well, the Convoy to Kyushu wher we Sold the Gold was Uneventful, but I Protected the Miners a bit Further and at the Gate to the Honshu System in New Tokyo a Nomad Appeared and Opened Fire on us. I Sent the Miners away and Fight the Nomad we Couldn't Kill the Creature but Give him a Bloody Nose before we had to Retreat. the Ship Needed some Repairs but Nothing to Big. then we could Continue our Test Flight and moved to the Hawaii wher we got Some of the Orbital Employees as Testers for the Cloud 9s Luxurious Interior, and we made our way back to Liberty. In New York we Confused an Agent of the LIA, but after we showed our Conversation with DSE about the Refit and Provided Prove about the Interiour of the Cloud 9 they wher Pleased about the Passenger Conditions. I Told them Orbital haves Standards and that we would never Even Risk to Break or Bend them, I Include Pictures and Communications Logs as Always in the Attachments.

Subject: About the icy rumor

Greetings Cait!

Is it true what I have heared here in the Omegas?

I have heared that a comet has appeared in Cortez and its tail can be chipped into the most faboulos ice the universe has ever seen. Naturally every single chef, barkeeper and gourmet onboard the station went nuts over these rumors, Reverie's staff included.

So what is true to this story? Are there prestine frozen dihydrogenoxide chunks to be gathered? Or is the whole thing only cometly inflated?

If it is so, I have to ask for a favor (again). When you arrive on Saturday, if it is possible, can you bring 5 crates of these ... prestine ice thingys... along?

Best regards,
Cpt. Theobald Franklin

Greetings friends,

With the upcoming conference between Rheinland and Liberty, Breezewood is suspending it's Paradise Limited route for the time being. Expect to see a small uptick in overflow passengers doing re-bookings for the remainder of the week, my apologies for the logistics of handling those shifts last minute. I'll be spending the next few days focusing on getting ready for both the conference and Reverie's revival. If nothing else, I have to ensure we have a bottle of champagne to properly rechristen her and welcome her back into the luxury fleet!

On the ice front, I hear the rumors too. The "comet" in question is more of a condensed field, but it most certainly exists. My preliminary effots to get some of this "pristine" ice were less than successful, but then again I'm a novice when it comes to mining. I've heard others have had more success since then. My second officer managed to procure a chunk of the stuff somehow, and I will say it is usually refreshing to have a drink whose ice first froze before our our original solar system formed!

See you all on Saturday and Sunday!

Subject: Getting the Band Back Together

Greetings friends,

With a cleared itinerary, Breezewood was ready to secure the various assistants, secretaries, aides, and other assorted hangers-on that will be needed for this Hudson conference to be a success.
Turns out the no single house has a monopoly on this kind of diplomatic expertise, so we had to make a grand circuit of the sector to pick up Ambassadors, Arbiters, Diplomats, Emissaries, Envoys, and some Socialites to keep them all entertained. What should have been a glorified shopping run turned into quite the little adventure.

The trip was uneventful until I ran into a freelancer guarding the gate into Kusari. At first, my pirate sense went off, but this Freelancer named Hook turned out to be a good egg. Seems they enjoy flying to random systems and helping the first ship to come along with whatever needs doing. We chit-chatted through Kusari before a change of plans forced us to backtrack to pick up some arbiters from Niigata.
While retracing our steps through Kusari, we ran into Captain Stone in the Summer Sky and Hilda in Beefmaster and formed up into an improvised flotilla. When Doc Holliday dropped out of the trade lane near New Tokyo, we stopped to swap some friendly conversation, and I'm glad we did. That delay likely saved our lives.

We had just said our goodbyes and hit the lanes when a large nomad ship showed up on scopes. We immediately dropped out and flew back for the safety of New Tokyo while some nearby Kusari navy elements engaged but were soundly defeated. An entire cruiser and her escorts were sadly lost. Doc managed to enlighten us a bit on the nature of nomads, and the ship seemed to respond positively to his words. It moved on, and we quickly dashed for the gate to Honshu to continue on our way. From there, nothing much to report. Picked up the arbiters and the other required diplomats and ended the trip at Manitoba. There's another liner docked here, an Oasis, but I'm grateful for the neighbor since it makes the Breezewood look even finer by comparison.

The diplomats are settling in now and doing the preliminary festivities before the conference kicks off properly on Sunday. Meanwhile, I'm planning taking the ship's shuttle Puddle Jumper to make some preparations for Reverie's coming out party on Saturday. Busy busy busy!

Servus to all employees.

Well looks like today was Nomad Day. after I Brought a Load of H-Fuel to the Shetland to fill her Tanks again. I took another Tour for some Elixirs to Freeport 11. the Flight to the Freeport was Uneventful and I had time to Test some new Recepys while I was on the run, ever heard about Fillet of beef with mushroom risotto? it was Realy Delicious I will send the Recepy to the Other Orbital Cooks so they can Try it themself. well as I Reached the Freeport I was Greeted by the same order Capitan that wanted to "show" the Stagecoach something. we talked and it was a nice Conversation till the Nomads appeared. first, they turned away at the Sight of the Osiris Battleship and we continued our conversation, but sadly the Nomad was not alone and Returned with some Friends. Capitan Holt and her Ship Protected me so I could escape into the safety of the Freeport, and the Nomads opened Fire on me and a Zoner Transport that was at the Station. Sadly they Destroyed the Zoners Ship. but I wher able to Dock and Slip under the Shielding of the Freeport. I was even able to Safe the Crew of the Zoner Ship as the Freeport told me that the Nomads wher gone from ther Scanners. as I Undocked I Looked out for Capitan Holt and her Ship but sadly ther was no Trace of her. but then I saw an explosion in the distance, I can't tell if it was Capitan Holts ship or the Nomads who Exploded. I hope it was the Nomads but I wasn't sure, I think she is fine. and I couldn't fight against Nomad Warships so I took a Load of Iridium and moved back to Liberty with it the Journey. back home was again Uneventful and I am Safe back on Curacao.

Servus to all employees.

today the Beefmaster and I was on a Routine Tour to Freeport 11 with some Tea, at the Freeport I Heard some Rumors about a new System in the Omicrons that was Recently Discovered. the System is named Omicron NU, and as it seemed ther is a Big Presence of the Liberty Navy and a Strange Gate. I was told by Navy Patrols that the gate was Phorbiden for me so I stayed away from the Gate and Explored the System a bit more. ther I found some weird Nomad Structures with no Nomads around at least this time. and some Planets to, but I found no signs of Human Settlement apart from an Enterprise Liner at the Gate. the system was Nice and I am sure that some Triton Customers would love to explore it in the Luxury of these Ships. I made some Pictures and Will Put them into the Attachment. the system was nice and gave me some Inspirations for new Recepys I will test now, so Please Excuse me my Kitchen waits for me.
