Messrs. Michaels and Kane,

Excellent work with keeping up with deliveries. Needless to say, the docking masters have vouched for your frequent appearances station-side. Following a review of your performance, you will find that your accounts have been enriched with a substantial bonus.

Thank you gentlemen. It is through the dedication of exemplary pilots such as yourselves that we can continue our commitment to excellence in Liberty and beyond.

RE: DSE) Communications channel - Casey - 09-24-2014

Incoming transmission from DSE)Super.Electra reports:

CEO and Captain:
Today I gave my crew the task of earning 50 million credits. A task that they have succeeded in greatly.
Many of the members of this ship are still very green but we are all learning and hopefully given time this ship will be one of the greatest assets of DSE.
Today we have held this crew together and ticked over Deep Space Engineering's trial time and we may have earned a larger ship, after the work done today I would be happy to offer every last member of staff here a new career! The people here are inexperienced but they seem to work well together and cause a drama free environment.
I will keep the daily goal at 50 million for the time being. I feel that it is in our best interests to look out for the buisness of Super.Electra first, but to work for DSE as well, we would do well to not appear too greedy. Once we have a comfortable nest egg then I will divert the running of this ship to more DSE centred works but for now lets keep making money.

Head of security:

Only minor damage was done today from space collisions, our shield absorbed all damage and is still fully operational. The turrets have passed all their tests and audit.
We encountered 2 pirates today and Gallic military but there was no action to speak of thanks to the diplomacy of comms.
As for the boarding team despite hauling several prisoners today no real threat came about. I don't ask too many questions, were they drugged? were they going to be placed on parole? Its a stern reminder to keep on the good side of libertarian law.

Medical bay:
Medical inventory checks out okay.
Nothing major to report.

Communications (Celestie):
How wonderful it feels to finally be out flying, and in such a large ship as well! I really feel that I have landed on my feet and kept running. I have travelled in the last 2 days far further than I thought I ever would in a life time!
I have had a real mix of emotions today. A lot of friendly help from the organisation which has been greatly appreciated but on the other side the fears of piracy. I have a lot of people on this ship and I worry about saying the wrong thing, however the scripts that DSE provided me in their welcome pack seem to be working.
It feels so weird, all I have done is read them out line by line and then sent a message to our accountant and the whole ship is celebrating me as a hero!
I guess our inexperience has made us jumpy, not least myself. I hope I can sleep without nightmares tonight.

Head of Logistics:
My boys have worked hard today and are now relaxing at the bar. I hope that they don't drink too much as sore muscles and alcohol do not mix well (experience).
Alloy transportation is heavy work and if my lads are to move it in a timely manner we will require more grav lifts. Also we would much appreciate a proper risk assessment if we are to be transporting chemicals like fluorine and boron. I'm no expert on the subject but yellow gasses scare me a little.

Engineering:
I am still studying an engineering apprenticeship. As this ship is DSE property I will not interact with any of the existing set-up, so have spent my time with my head buried in data pads revising for my next module exam in 4 days time. I am hopeful that we will be given clearance to purchase a new ship for our business so I can start to put these skills to use.

Accountant (off ship):
Total profit: 96493040 credits
Taxation sent to Ft.Knox: 9649304 credits
Total profit after taxation: 86,843,736 credits

Loss and breakdown:
1,000,000 sent to a pirate using the name of Brutal.Pancakes
1,000,000 sent to a pirate using the name of Fiona.
2145 units of High Performance Alloy lost due to Gallic militants.

All 3 losses have been reimbursed by DSE.

Should the DSE)Super.Electra maintain this level of profiting I will require an assistant clerk and a promotion.

External DSE auditor:
Very impressive work today.
I feel a strong rapport with the Captain. He was true to his word that after reaching his goal he would help with DSE business and he had 2145 units of High Performance Alloy and 2145 units of robotic parts shipped to Doe Industries. This business is indeed very inexperienced but the enthusiasm they have. Obviously I would prefer it if they were to work more for us but I understand that any business has running costs and I have it on good authority from the captain that we will not be forgotten.

Scientist (Jacob) (intern):
Fascinating discoveries about the technology behind warp gates and these jump holes....maybe there I will be able to find new phenomena and write my thesis. Only time will tell.

RE: DSE) Communications channel - Casey - 09-25-2014

The following document contains the minutes of the evening tele meeting of DSE)Super.Electra.

1) Rollcall
CEO Steve here.
Celestie from comms here.
Jacob from science here.
Mel from accounting here.
Brian from engineering here.
Earl, logistics, here boss.
Ace from Security present.

2) Announcements

Steve: Welcome everybody, thank you all for being here, that's everyone accounted for.

Steve: We only have one announcement today, that is for you Mel. We have found you 3 potential clerks and have sent them to your office for an interview, we have enough budget for you to hire up to 2 of them as you see fit.
Mel: Thank you sir, it will certainly help with my work load.
Steve: Does anyone else have any special announcements? No? Okay good.

3) Health and safety

Steve: So this morning Earl, you should have received the 2 new Grav lifts and 4 dolly lifters sent to your department. Where you able to assemble them?
Earl: Yeah no problem
Steve: Passed their QA?
Earl: Yep.
Steve: Excellent, Jacob did you work on the hazard chart for them?
Jacob: Yes Steve, I have faxed them information on each element and a quick reference guide.
Steve: Good, Earl, I want your team to laminate and store the elemental cards and place the quick reference on a wall.
Jacob: Okay we will get on that next time we are flying.

4) Security and hazards

Steve: Excellent. Has anyone else found any problems? No? Good. Remember, your safety is paramount.
Steve: Ace, do you have any reports for me.
Ace: Yes sir, while working today we got in contact with Kane from the DSE)Samaritan. A very experience pilot. He sent us the updated target tracking software and taught my crew a few tricks. I would consider every last gunner now at least grade 0.
Steve: very good. I remind you though that you are under no circumstances to engage other ships, this is only for the most dire circumstances.

5) Science, medicine and engineering

Steve: Brian, I am still waiting on your recommendations for upgrading our ship.
Brian: Y...yes sir.
Steve: Well....?
Brian: I am afraid that I do not have a recommendation for us at present sir.
Steve: Still?
Brian: no sir, I am still learning the fundamentals.
Steve: Celestie, can you take Brian under your wing in comms tomorrow, we really really need to sort this out sooner rather than later.
Celestie: Yes Sir. I hope you enjoy working with me Brian.
Steve: and Brian, try and hurry this along would you? We are paying you for your expertise here.
Brian: Yes sir, I will make sure that we are flying something new soon. I want to be absolutely certain though as we don't really have the funding for trial and error at this stage.
Steve: Brian! I want this done tomorrow without fail. do you understand?
Mel: Steve...I understand that we need to expand this business soon, but you need to realise that I am up to my eyes with the bank in money laundering forms. This business has started really quickly. Do you have any idea the trouble we have to go through when sending money to pirates, and now transfering the price of a ship...
Steve: *getting angry* Enough! We need that ship, we will have that ship this time tomorrow do I make myself clear. This is the last I will hear of it!

*an uncomfortable silence deafens the recording for 20 seconds*

6) Any other business

Steve: anyway, Celestie, would you fill us in on any business that was performed outside of Super Electra.
Celestie:Yes...of course. Today was mostly another day of making money, however we did briefly assist DSE here is a breif summary:

Cold Lake Project: 2145 bottles of liberty ale delivered to Leduc Station
Platinum Inc maintenance: 4290 Reinforced alloy send to Platinum Inc

Celestie: The trade route between Platinum Inc and waterloo is probably the most beneficial option we have for both ourselves and DSE.

Steve: As long as you make my targets you are free to split the work you do as you choose.

Mel: I would also like to mention that we have a fully functioning business account with the bank now that has unlimited deposit and withdrawal. You should no longer have to carry so much on your ship.

7) Daily accounts
Steve: Okay time to hear how much money you guys have made.

Mel: I am happy to announce that we have reached out goal a second time running. Here is a breakdown of today's gains and losses:

Total gains: 58,411,013
Tax paid to Ft.Knox: 5831101
Total profit: 52,579,912 (105.16% of goal)

Steve: Perfect.

8) Tomorrows goals

Steve: So tomorrow I want you all working on getting that new ship. Any profit you can make will be appreciated, but I am happy for you to make nothing if you get me that ship.

9) Closing

Steve: You have done good work today ladies and gentlemen. I hope that we can keep this up. Steve out.

*Steve has disconnected*
*Earl has disconnected*
*Jacob has disconnected*
*Mel has disconnected*

Brian: Wow what a harda** I'm feeling a little shaken from that.
Celestie: It's okay brian, we'll show him together! The other members of DSE are all very friendly and helpful. I'm sure we can work something out together.
Brian: I hope so Celestie, I really do.
Celestie: I promise you, now do try to get a good nights sleep.
Brian: *sighs* I will try.

*Brian has disconnected*
Celestie: Just double checking you have all gone? Hello?
*Celestie has closed the telecomm system*
*Celestie timed out*

Subject: A strange encounter

A suspicious vessel approached me near Ontario JH in Alberta today. The ship had the lines of Liberty bomber.1 Pilot did not introduce herself, just asked me to stop and claimed she is a Liberty Security Force officer. However, I could not read her ID. All I could get was the callsign "Jackal". My scanners were blocked all the time by some kind of a jammer. This is also the reason why I don't have any evidence of this encounter.

She kept questioning me to a point where she asked me about the base I was coming from. I didn't trust her, so I gave her false name and false coordinates of the base. Hopefully, this will not cause any diplomatic issues between DSE) and Liberty Security Force.

Subject: A strange encounter #2

Today was a pleasant day to spend in Alberta. Supplies to both Platinum and Rutherford were running smoothly. No ion storms, no pirates. I even took this beautiful photo of a central star and planet Calgary.

An unexpected and inconvenient déjà-vu occured to me at Ontario JH. As mentioned in my previous report, I met a suspicious ship named "Jackal". This ship uses an unknown jammer that blocks my scanners. Today, however, I was able to do some pictures with my external camera. Here's one of them:

Yet again the pilot claimed she's an LSF officer but all attempts to scan her official ID failed:

This time she insisted (threatened to use force) that I take her to our base(s). After 20k I decided to stop and refused to move until she shows me her ID. Shortly after that she spoke with her guns. I was about 30k from Camrose Supply Depot so I started thrusting whilst shooting back:

Needless to say I succesfully docked at Camrose. I was expecting her to dock right away and arrest me. None of this happened.
I suggest to pass this matter to our Security Department.

Captain Kane,

Thank you for your reports. Considering the content, it was passed directly to my desk. This is certainly troubling news, but until we have fully investigated and put in the appropriate inquiries to LSF and the government, our legal team advises you to refrain from discussing this matter outside of direct correspondence with a senior department head.

We commend you for your discretion and prudence. Should you encounter this individual again, we suggest you continue your current course of action.
