RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Remnant - 10-25-2013

Jack tilts his head with slight interest. "My secret to social success? Well that would actually be rather simple. If people have a problem with it, they will tell me to go away. I just don't care what they think otherwise, their thoughts about who I am is irrelevant. The content on the other hand? Is both amusing to see the reactions, and the most efficient way to get the point across."

Reaching over to a second class, taking a sip of it, looking like water. Seeming that he was watering down his drinks throughout the period of his stay,

"Achillie is an interesting sort of fellow, he gets what he deems important done, though he does so making fun of most other people on his way there, I like his style. Though regretfully, I do not intend of staying merely within his grasp, I don't like too many people to order me around. Achillie especially, it will stop being amusing eventually with him, and oh I cannot have that. What good is the world if you can't have some enjoyment through it, if you manage to accomplish something, even better.

Finishing up the water glass.

"I assume you already know most of this though, you wouldn't last long in your position if you let everything bother you."

" I am certain I possess the unarguably proper talents and skills for the position I occupy " he replied, reluctant from giving a definite, direct answer to his last question, as he felt he had to accompany such a feat with an explanation, and he didn't want to direct his time in such a pursuit.

A short smile he carved on his face, then he contemplated obliviously to the surrounding world for what a man may count to as 10 seconds.

He then turned his attention back at Jack and inquired.

" Allow me the liberty of assuming the overtly improbable and perhaps impossible contraption that you may be bored, or tired of working for Achille, mon ami, and you'd desire dabbling into other... ventures and professions. Is there something you may have in mind? Or a goal that you wish to obtain?

RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Remnant - 11-01-2013

"Ah, Robert my man, not just anyone can be 'bored' with the man that we know as Achillie, although it does seem that you have hit home on this particular question. That is correct for the most part, i've worked here shortly, and its not to my tastes. I admit he is amusing to watch, although things with more 'meaning'. I am not one to work for only my own gain, as that takes effort. I don't like putting in effort, since I honestly don't care how I live out my life. Perhaps a wide scale of things, eh? Who knows, will never know until I try at least.

Goals? Now that is just insane. Amusement is all, not much more matter to me other than surviving."

" What of the wellbeing of our fraternity ? " he inquired calmly while spreading both of his hands in a theatrical gesture

At this moment, Robert was merely curious what Jack would answer him. He was already contriving expectations and predictions inside his head, and those that spawn out the most often are the expectations of lies, but not exactly because he would think of Jack to attempt an escape from this verbal trap he made himself subject to, but because Robert would pursue exactly that if he would be in Jack's place

"I'm going to be honest with you Robert, the well-being of the fraternity.. Lets take a look at this fraternity you speak of. We mainly consist of people who are alone for their own good, normally, a group like this would not need to be held together if everyone is not willing to at least accept everyone else around them. What more is needed once we get that far?"

Taking a breath.

"You have everything setup so where if something goes wrong, it is promptly fixed by another person. For something like this, people surprisingly trust each other. For this reason, the well-being is not really a concern. Its implied that its well being is at top notch. Achillie does what he wants, You do what you want, Sean does what he wants, and yet it all fits together perfectly. Work is not needed to keep this together, except under very tight circumstances.

I'm not going to say that it is my priority, although I find the system of how it all works, naturally at that, an interest."

"...And well said Sir; we are united via our differences." Achille materialised, delivering Jack such a thumping tap on the shoulder, dislocation was only narrowly averted.

"Similarity... well, there lies but one. We are all dreamers ami, all personages seeking to take whatever the stars or sins of men can wilfully provision us with. In that aspect then, we are Gods, pehaps not equal in competence nor eyes of the otner, but, none withstanding, each bearing an acceptable, individualised niche. Put less verbosely; each of us is here because our endgame will passively further that of woman or man jostling for position on either shoulder. Endure it as you will, we are an animal of many minds; each may not reach absolute consensus, but many wits comes rapid reactions. We outwit our competitors, reach the top of the chain, then bear the shadows around us. That fact may seem inexplicable but none-the-less we much digest it as solid gospel, or perhaps the only one of innumerable perplexing reasons which actually fit the barely-explicable actuality of it all..."

"...Yet one may only look inside to find the answer is entirely self-evident. After all, look at me, then look at Autoine, a veritable Romulus to my Remus; ever since our first meet we have never hesitated to place knifes into each other's spinal columns. Yet with every jagged scar, we learn from each other, do we not Carol? We learn, we derive, we grow as people if not humans. The fact is, no matter how much we may try and deny it publicly, we have a use to each other. If we didn't, one of us (not me, assuredly), would be little more than ashes at this present moment. Yet we persist symbiotically".

"...I do hope I wasn't interrupting anything particularly pressing, no? Nothing too profitable, no romantic interludes?"

Opening her eyes again, looking around.

"Did I just space out again..?"
"Sheesh... I wonder what everyone else is doing.." Thinking to herself.

She then proceeds to go to the bar, where everyone else seems to be at, from the rather secluded area she was at before.

"I hope I am not interrupting anything..?"
Having noticed Achille talking to either Jack or Robert as she sits down. Looking rather deprived of emotion, cold.

"Certainly nothing important.. hm?" Or is it?

The Doctor walks up behind Achille, tapping him on the shoulder, hoping to get his attention long enough to have a word with him about a particular project.

"Uhh . . ." he manages to vocalize, hoping not to interrupt, while at the same time hoping Achille doesn't just ignore his efforts. He examines the present company, noting how Achille always seems to be wherever Robert is, or vice versa.

" I cannot abstain from admitting that you are right in your philosophical excruciation, Achille, however... " he said, noticing DD who exerted his presence, drenching his feet on the lavishly green soil of the dome and attempting to talk to the head of the RB

" ...I think DD wants to have a moment with you. " Robert said to Achille, glancing over his shoulder and pointing towards DD, making certainty of the fact that Achille's attention shall be diverted onto him.

The next moment, Robert twitched his attention in Ellie's favour.

" Interrupt? Absolutely non, we were just having an exchange of trivialities. Nothing you cannot partake into as well, mademoiselle. " He said with a benevolent tone, carving a deep grin on his face whose rays of optimism are so abounding that they would melt even through the coldest of glaciers.

RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Enkidu - 11-23-2013

Achille swirled like a capstan and glared haughtily at his associate, as a raptor might, confronted by a particularly bothersome rodent.

“Um?” He repeated, a brow stretching in damming incredulity. “I pay you to work, eat, sleep, make merry and all you can offer me is a meagre, miserly monosyllable? Um? Um is an err, a slight, a deficiency. There is no place in civilised discourse for mere “um”, as it informs of nothing except self-insecurity, stalling, delays and a procrastinatory mind-set quite unsuited to the modern workplace.”

“…Um? A bombastic waste of linguistics. Millennia’s of verbosity and the human race spews up “um”, regurgitated unwanted into the ears of the listener. “Um”; a crawling, cockroach that permeates the tongue and pins it to the pallet, making mutes of otherwise discerning men. “Um”, that whore, that easy sleaze, will open her laps quite readily for the undiscerning but offers little pleasure in her crannies. Um is a tartar, a barbarian, and desires exile. There is no place in this fraternity for “Um”, Satan so help me.”

The grimace transfers into a more traditional, lyrical grin as he clapped the startled Sournois on the shoulder.

“So Devious, what little bit of the tit were you willing to communicate, hmm?”
“Do tell, I am all ears.”
