Guten Abend

I will be short as short as i can in my report, it has been a while since i have done one so i believe it was about time i did one of those as well. The other day, i have decided to return to Neu Berlin with the Pinneberg after a long and successful patrol around Munich since we have been dispatched there, it was time for ein full inspection of the vessel and to make necessary repairs if any needed. As we were arriving to Oder Shipyard, Frau Traudel Habermeyer sent a distress call reporting a Hessen Battlecruiser, some pirate and some Coalition revolutionary. We turned around and arrived to their position a.s.a.p, which was just at a few clicks from Mannheim Station. Everybody fought bravely unfortunately the pirate got away, frau Traudel's ship was hit by torpedoes launched by the Coalition revolutionary, which forced her to eject her ship. Fortunately she was not harmed as we quickly took her escape pod and gave her the necessary medical assistance aboard the Pinneberg.

While battling the Hessen, another one of our ships has been victim of a sacrifice that was made in order to create a clear shot for us. Once again, we managed to tractor everyone aboard the KKS-Raeren, nobody was harmed and received medical assistance aboard our vessel. Needless to say the target has been dealt with accordingly, but not without suffering a substantial amount of damage ourselves. Nothing too very serious or that our glorious engineers can not fix though. I will add some of the attached records below.

Now for today's report, i caught and pursued a little smuggler on his way to, i believe it's safe to presume Liberty considering we have dealt with this criminals before, transporting a load of illegal artifacts, as well as two nomad remains, some nuclear devices and some aluminium, with which he was pretending to be an "honest worker". Apparently he thought of me as a fool, or something, as he was also trying to be funny in the process, not realizing the seriousness of the bad position he got himself into. Anyway, i explained to him the old fashioned way that i have dealt with smartasses like him in the past and i was not gonna let him get away with it. I encouraged him to drop the cargo and pay a fine of 10.000.000 credits for his disobedience of the law, otherwise his ship would've been destroyed and he would be taken into custody and thrown in prison, now i question whether or not i went too soft on him. Regardless we now have his call sign and will be added on the list for our men to watch carefully for next time he enters Rheinland again. After all that, i escorted him to the Bering gate in Hamburg system and said our farewells. One thing i can tell, he was not very happy with that encounter, such is life though. Every action has it's consequence. I will leave below some of the recordings.

Guten Abend Officers,

stationed near Brandenburg Station in sector C5, i was approached by Oberleutnant Riese and Bootsmann Fischer. While the area was clear of civilian and commercial traffic, i used the opportunity to fill Riese in on the most recent encounters.
During our stay we had no irregular occurrences, construction on Forschungsinstitut Arnsberg continues flawlessly by the looks of it.

To paint a clearer picture for Riese and Fischer, i decided to show both of them the spots of interest i had recently mentioned. We moved to Wildau Station, then Planet New Berlin and headed out to sector F4. A subsequent patrol of the Aachenfeld was cut short, as the RNC-Oberau relayed information about a Hessian in the area. Returning to Planet New Berlin, we found no traces of the Oberau nor the criminal.

We resumed my initial course of teaching about the most dangerous or frequented areas by taking the lane network to Essen Station and the nearby Ruhrfeld. Where we found the Oberau again - the battleship was investigating a supposedly illegal station. After a quick examination we concluded it must've been a simple mistake in IFF systems, as the station was friendly to Riese, Fischer and myself.

During this time Bootsmann Fischer received a communication by the Bretonian Merchant Navy, which he then relayed to Riese and me. Herr Turner Shaw inquired about the possibility of safe passage through Rheinland space, which was granted. Thus, we plotted a course to Elbe Border Fortress in Omega-7 - the rendezvous point with Herr Shaw.
After a standard cargo inspection and verification of previously transmitted information, we began our escort. The way through Stuttgart was free of criminal activity, same with New Berlin and parts of Hamburg we had to cross in order to reach Herr Shaw's destination. That being Alster Shipyard.

After the Anguilla had exchanged her cargo and picked up new goods for Bretonia, the RNC-Ostkantone joined our efforts. A Hessian turned up on scanners shortly afterwards. I, once more, assured the Anguilla of having continuous safe passage through Rheinland. At first he kept his distance, but got too close near the jump gate. Therefore i ordered Riese and Fischer to break formation and prevent any further attempts at endangering the Merchant Navy vessel. Ostkantone and me proceeded to escort Herr Shaw. At Brandenburg Station a Freelancer was informed about the activity in Hamburg and contracted by the crew of the Ostkantone to assist if need be. The remaining way was free of any further disturbances. Herr Shaw and me parted ways at Elbe Border Fortress in Omega-7.

Ostkantone and me regrouped in sector D5, then proceeded to return to Hamburg. To our surprise, a Corsair had showed up as well. Calling herself the Crimson Queen. Having taken out the Freelancer, her sights were set on us, while the Hessian retreated. Riese restocked and engaged, while Ostkantone and me kept the jump gate secure.
After a while the Hessian returned, this was when it dawned on me. That particular pilot had managed to disable my ship in Omega-7 not too long ago and seemed hellbent on doing the exact same thing again. Counting on clouded judgement by emotional instability, i decided to provoke a bit more before moving in to combat him. Hitman Lock entered the Hamburg system during these fights and was ordered by the RNC-Ostkantone to assist. At this point a few of my ship's systems started to show unexpected readings again, while a Unioner cruiser approached. An immense ion storm washed over the sector, which forced all present vessels to clear the area. Communications were down and navigational systems extremely disturbed.

i conducted a patrol of Stuttgart's three major nebula clouds together with an MND agent. All three clouds were free of any suspicious activity, the system itself seemed secure as well. After our patrol had ended, the MND agent disclosed their identity to me - that being the former Direktor Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke. Her interest in the Nomad encounters was hard to not notice, once i had mentioned them. I left the matter of relaying any information connected to those sightings to the Oberkommando.

About six hours later the Hitman Agency informed me about a Coalition snubcraft they had spotted and taken out in Stuttgart. With this sudden change and their presence there, i took Bootsmann Fischer as well as both Hitmen with me on a second patrol. We did not find any enemy craft - but we found their doing. An abandoned, yet functioning ARKG-B6 Behemoth transport. Cargo hold full of luxury consumer goods. Energy was fluctuating, but no battle damage was visible. No escape pods in the vicinity either. Upon further investigation we managed to gain access to the flight recorder. The crew was taken hostage by Red Hessians, i surmise from the nearby Ostnebel. With knowledge about recently abducted people in Stuttgart, i ordered the ship to be towed back to sector E3 for thorough examination. It has been moored there for the time being.

on my route through New Berlin i found the Crimson Queen again, at first glance being busy attempting to extort some money from a Freelancer piloting a liner.

As it turned out the Freelancer seemed to at least be open to a less onesided deal with her. A cloaked Hessian showed up not long after, leading to the Freelancer remarking he'd enjoy a talk with Hessian engineers. Both him and the Corsair entered a momentary truce for better chances at taking out the two of us. To my surprise, the liner preferred to fight instead of making a safe escape. He did state there was not much crew aboard, scans indicated somewhat otherwise. The openness with which a potential deal with criminals and terrorists was approached appeared more than noteworthy to me. Having sustained serious damage, only a partial recording is available and has been attached as usual.

Guten Abend Officers,

a Freelancer relayed troubling findings of his to me.

A certain Lars D. Ross spotted a Crayter vessel carrying artifacts in Frankfurt, near the Konstanz Wreck. He called me rather shortly after having found the smuggler, but no contact was maintained afterwards. Thus, i departed for Frankfurt myself and investigated. System itself was clear, no signs of the Crayter ship near Konstanz, major trade lane routes or some of the previously found jump holes. Taking a gamble, i took it upon myself to follow the route the last smuggler, a Liberty Rogue, took. From Frankfurt over New Berlin to Hamburg and then Hudson. Lo and behold i found what i was looking for, Crayter ship with the callsign Johan.Freland mid jump to Hudson. I followed and managed to conduct a proper scan, before he took the lane and vanished around Manitoba Station.

Of note might be the fact yet another Liberty Rogues gunboat showed up only moments after i startled this smuggler. It landed a few shots and stripped me of my shields, but except that no further damage was suffered. Back in Hamburg i warned another Freelancer of the situation in Hudson, prompting him to take the route through Bering instead.

I met with my fellow officers in Munich for our mission into Xi to try and get a foothold into the system. We then proceeded to Xi and met up with more officers along the way.

Soon, the Corsair defense showed up and we proceeded to engage. Unfortunatly, my ship was disabled early on, but my escape pod was recovered and I only sustained minor injuries, which are being tended to on New Berlin, where my bomber is being repaired as well.

Guten Tag officers,

This report comes after a few days off together with my family in Sygma 15, where I found a very cozy little place for rest and reflection between a mission and some patrols when on duty in the rheinland.

It happened that after signing the return-to-service papers, I noticed that there was some suspicious movement on my long-range scanner, which made me order my navigators to direct the Gunboat-class patrol ship to the sector in question. There I found some of our pilots struggling to survive the attack of a Corsair Gungoat. I properly notified my surprise that a Deterrence was hostile inside our house and immediately engaged and along with the pilots of Rheinland Military we destroyed the ship in question.
Next we collect your scape pod and deliver it to the competent authorities to judge it according to our laws.

Guten Abend Officers,

a lone Hessian was spotted by me in Stuttgart, close to Freiburg Station. His reason for being that close apparently love, an amusing concept i paid little attention to. Oberleutnant Riese appeared at the scene as well, after some verbal banter the Hessian took his leave. I assumed he might go and rid himself of his connections - but instead two Corsairs showed up. One of them being the slowly but surely known Crimson Queen.

Before much more than the usual exchange of pleasantries could take place, the Hessian returned and decided to combat the Corsairs then and there. He managed to almost take out one, which prompted the other to jump in as well. One Corsair down, one Hessian down - remaining Corsair left. Riese and me held position near Freiburg, a Gaian showed up as well as the former Direktor Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke. The Gaian was cooperative and left the scene immediately afterwards, as i had issued a warning. Wilcke, Riese and me had no enemies left to fight, as the last Corsair took the pod and made a run for it. Him and me checked Stuttgart for Gaian and Corsair respectively, yet no traces were found. They left as instructed.

On extended patrol we ran into Lock, Hitman Agency, near the jump gate to Frankfurt. He seemed in a hurry, heading for Stuttgart. Expecting a sudden shift of activity there once more, i inquired further. To my relief this was not the case, Hitman Agency simply assembled forces in Omega-7. Both Riese and me proceeded to Frankfurt, where we came across the Red Velvet Club, an OS&C Liner already known to me. With their future destination being New London, taking on Urlaubers from New Berlin, i suggested an escort through Stuttgart and Omega-7. Single Corsair activity is to be mentioned, yet no attacks took place. They kept their distance and left again this time, as two Hitmen arrived at the scene not much later. Having received an invitation to travel aboard the OS&C vessel and been told some of the artists aboard are ex Coalition... i did just that. To have a look at said artists, given recent Coalition activity in Frankfurt and surrounding systems. The trip itself went without much issues, up to Omega-7.

There i was informed about Corsair activity - gunboat and a bomber. They did keep their distance to the Red Velvet Club at first, according to their own statements their presence was due to me mostly. As they were hunting for Rheinwehr personnel. I suggested the liner leaves while it still can, Lock and an OS&C security craft were with me. The gunboat captain asked for a duel, which i granted. Lock took him out, as to be expected from him. His bomber escort left the scene afterwards.

Guten Abend Officers,

during my routine visit to Hudson i have encountered Admiral van Leer of The First Armada - Liberty Navy.
Van Leer raised the issue of an apparently outdated part of the Rheinland-Liberty Peace Treaty - specifically Chapter III Article 5. Atka's Liberty zone is deeply imbedded in Rheinland's territory, yet cannot be reached by Liberty forces without breaching the treaty. I assured Admiral van Leer i'd forward this to the Oberkommando, which happened earlier already.

Guten Abend Officers,

after lying in wait for artifact smugglers to show up near the jump gate to Hudson in Hamburg, i altered my position and encountered three Junkers near Planet Hamburg. Leutnant Schmidt came from the planet's surface and started to interact with some of the Junkers, as i uncloaked only moments later.

One of them was carrying illegal equipment, namely two variants of, according to his own statements, still operational Nomad tech. In addition to that two Unioner pilots. As we were inquiring about the source of this alien technology, he explained to us to have found them in a remote Liberty system. Due to a damaged navigational computer, he was only able to give us the first and last two letters of the system in question - "A...KA". Schmidt left at this moment, to relay this information immediately. I remained and continued to find out more about the nature of this system, what the Junker experienced and if there was more. I assume he might be open to conduct more operations like this, should the Oberkommando deem it a worthwhile venture.

Nomad tech was confiscated, pilots taken in. Due to the provided information and lack of prior transgressions, i issued no fine.
