I just used your logic, if mining done for RP is alright when rocks hardly drop and it takes forever to fill a transport and money earned are poor, perhaps you can do the same and roleplay waiting for the one trader in an hour like the RPing miner filling his ship for hours.

I've had many fun role-play experiences with my little BMM Basalt miner and do not believe this role-play path should be entirely removed because of some lolwuts. Turning mining off will not solve any of these "player behaviour problems" (could you put some examples in the first post). Instead it will simply spread it around, like if you removed the Outcast and Corsairs from the game.

Turn it back on. There's no need to nerf anything. It's fine because you're not presenting me with any evidence that states otherwise. Put the evidence that something is wrong in the first post and I'll reconsider this.

If the first mining nerf didn't work, then perhaps a bigger one was in order. That would have been a better decision, one easier to swallow. This has just blown every miner out of the water. Our choice is now to trade or to pirate. That's it.

Glad your happy about it though.

No, I prefer to pirate or trade

How much will the escort get?
Will anybody fly escort for less than 1 million?

Why less than 1 million? 10 or 15% of your profit is too much?

Stop being greedy.

Cash was made way to easy on Disco. Less than one week of power-mining and you get your cap. That is just wrong in my oppinion

Before and after. If you are thinking that lolwuttery going to leave disco and turning off mining is solution...

dod, you have no idea how much money did i make pirating npcs. not because i was bored or because the server was empty. it was because i was waiting for traders / miners and didnt meet anyone in a timespan of 40 minutes.

Just popping in to say something.. We are all rp'ing to be inhabitants of sirius. If we are to go along these lines of rp set forth by the admin team, you should stop trading aswell? Why? Well.. without ore and mining, how do you get the goods eh?

so what does this prove exactly? besides the fact that he sold his mining ship and started flying around to actually do something. you just basically turned your own argument into dust.

The future of mining? - Domjan - 03-02-2011

Nerfing them ain't gonna do anything but make people spend more of their time online, unproductive.

EDIT: Who should we sell our mining ships to then?

He is going fly somewhere else, but lolwut remain lolwut. You will have SAME effect but spreaded around Sirius. What's point of it?
