Comm ID: Rear Admiral Felix Rommer, 101st Ghosts of Razgriz Location: Battleship Da Garda Greetings, pilots! Avila, you're in. I'm curious to see how a merc will do in the Navy. Ramirez, you're in...on probation. Given your recent...'exploits' so to speak, I will be keeping a close eye on you. Disobey orders like you used to and I'll have you court-martialled faster than you can spell my first name. That is all. Rommer out! ***Transmission Terminated*** The 101st Ghosts of Razgriz - Coldzero - 12-28-2010 ***Incomming transmission*** Comm ID: Quicksilver (Eduardo Alfaro) Location: Planet Malta Hola. My name is Eduardo Alfaro, a highly combat experienced pilot. I got my ship a few months ago when I was tired of being grounded on Malta... I sought adventure again... like my old days as a Naval pilot. The records were erased about me ever being in the Navy... They did not wish to get a valuable pilot to the Outcast Nation in any form of danger when he went into retirement. I have had the pleasure of flying with the 101st before... They are highly skilled pilots that I get along with well. I liked the thought of being recognized as a 101st and flying with the best pilots Malta has to offer. ----------------------------------------------------------OOC--------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Why the Outcast Guard? I enjoy flying with the 101st and have been for a while. I enjoy fighting along side them. 2) What are two things that you enjoy doing in real-life besides playing freelancer? Listening to music and drawing 3) What would the last sentence of your autobiography be? A quote from a movie I admire: ~ Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, and ideas are bulletproof. ~ 4) If you could be a fictional character (from a film, book, comic, etc...), who would it be, and why? V from the movie V for Vendetta. The way he thinks is interesting and his way of taking down his targets, and fighting is brilliant. The 101st Ghosts of Razgriz - aerobot - 12-29-2010 Tom 'Talisman' Rodriguez Tom sits down opposite you, smiling slightly. His eyes are bagged from tiredness. He places a bottle of tequila on the table and slides it across, as a gift. Well... where can I begin? My life ain't that exciting. I guess I'll start with my childhood. I was born in a scummy little favela on the outskirts of Little Rio, Planet Crete. Life wasn't the best; my parents couldn't really afford much, the education was crap and there was nothing going for me. A few of the kids I grew up with got into dodgy business; addicted to synth ganja, crack, and a whole lotta cardamine. I looked at 'em, and I saw an opportunity for cash. The guy who sold it to them was ruthless and worked for a pretty badass smuggler, but I was young and cocky - of course I could take him on! My dad kept a laser pistol hidden under his pillow - you needed that kind of protection in the neighbourhood I grew up in - so I took it and tailed the dealer to his home one night. Of course he didn't live in the favelas, he lived in a fancy big-city apartment in the nice part of Little Rio. Long story short? I broke in at night and started taking the cardamine. He woke up and started yelling, saying how he was gonna kill me and all that, so I shot him and ran. I ran pretty fast, 'cos the security forces never caught up. A few years later, I was rolling in cash. I'd hooked up with the smuggler the old dealer used to work with. I owned the favela - not that it was much to own, but hey. I paid for flying lessons, bought a ship. What happened? The security forces had been investigating me, and they managed to catch up with me in the end. They gave me a choice; I could be executed, or I could hand over all my ill-gotten cash, rat out the smuggler and fly out to space to start working for the "good of the Corsair Empire." Hah, please. **** 'em. I didn't want to die, so I handed over everything I had except my ship, told everything I knew about the smuggler and flew off into Sirius. I started trading around, but there's no passion in that, I want to live a little. I know you might think I'm a Corsair - but I'm not. I renounced my Corsair nationality a long time ago. They're sheep, they're close-minded and they're never gonna get anywhere in Sirius. I'll do whatever it takes to prove I won't let my Cretian background get in the way of the Outcasts. Oh, and Malta has beautiful weather. OOC 1) Why the Outcast Guard? Overall it seems like a fun, active faction to be in. I like that they have a good relationship with other pirate groups, so it can open up more roleplay with them. Generally, I'm just looking for a piratey faction to join as it seems like fun, and the Outcasts seem like a good bunch of roleplayers. 2) What are two things that you enjoy doing in real-life besides playing freelancer? My first passion is music. I've been playing drum kit for about 8 years now since I was 8/9 years old (17 now), and orchestral percussion on and off for 2 years. I'm also a humble bedroom producer, and have recently started producing Drum n Bass, Dubstep, House, and other weird electronic music. I hope to learn to DJ soon. I like pretty much every genre from jazz to orchestral to hip hop, as long as it's not total crap I'm happy to listen to it. I've also been training Parkour/Freerunning for about 2 years now. Mainly 'cos it's good fun, it's gotten me fit (I used to be a right fatty) and I've met some good friends doing it. 3) What would the last sentence of your autobiography be? "And so, really I'm just some average guy who worked hard and got lucky, I must have done something right if you've been bothered to read a whole frickin' book about me." 4) If you could be a fictional character (from a film, book, comic, etc...), who would it be, and why? James Bond. Do I reaaaally need to say why? The 101st Ghosts of Razgriz - Cosmos - 12-30-2010 ~Incoming Transmission~ Comm ID: Alandra Herrera ~Begin Transmission~ Hola mi amigos. - Comm ID: Santino Romano - - Comm location: Planet Malta - My name is Santino Romano. I was born and raised on Malta and spent my early life around my parents' plantations. Now I feel the time has come for me to join your ranks. Why? Because I was born for it. I am no pirate, I come from a rich family. I have everything a man could want, but something doesn't feel right. I spent my youth dreaming of the stars, dreaming that one day I would be up there, flying with the best of the best. I trained, I trained for years and I think... no, I know I am ready -------------------------------------------------------
1) Why the 101st Outcast Guard? Because you all are cool people and one of you talked me into joining 2) What are two things that you enjoy doing in real-life besides playing freelancer? Racing cars and wasting time doing nothing 3) What would the last sentence of your autobiography be? That is why I have no regrets 4) If you could be a fictional character (from a film, book, comic, etc...), who would it be, and why? Hard one'¦ I guess Vito Corleone (you didn't see that one coming, did you?). Why? Because he is pure win: he went from nothing to a very powerful man on his own strength, he didn't forget where he came from he lived his life with honor and dignity and he died old and happy The 101st Ghosts of Razgriz - Dennis Jameson - 01-12-2011 ![]() Good day, Mr Romano.
