The best game ever.... - Tenacity - 05-18-2008 hm... for graphic quality? Probably Mass Effect. Beautiful graphics and extensive 'go anywhere you want' environments. For fun gameplay? Assassin's Creed... nothing more fun that slaughtering everything in sight, while staying out of sight. For story? Soul Reaver / Legacy of Kain series. Those were some of the best games I ever played, and I hate not having my PS2 anymore =( Best overall would have to be Starwars: Galaxies before the CU, back when it was good. Great community, fairly fun gameplay, huge areas to explore, everything was player-created including entire cities, pvp was decent... Unfortunately Sony smashed that game to bits when they tried to make it 'better'. It is one of the few japanese thing I allow myself to play at, even enjoy. My patriotic pride usually makes me frown on everything coming from that place, but this game simply is making me recall so much fond memories... plus, it is fun. A simple game, needing little uber graphic, decent main story line (but awesome smaller detail story lines) yet so fun. While there's an emulator team out there trying to salvage what they can of the game from mined data packets and create a server, it's unlikely anyone will ever play the game in its complete form again.
