Hello, my name is, for introduction's sake, Adain Danyel Erylian. I am an experienced Captain that wishes further his services to Maltese Defence efforts. The Outcasts have been involved in my life since my younger years. I am originally, I now regret, a Libertonian. Yes, it may appear, first glance, from this statement that I am not trustworthy. I respectfully disagree with that notion.

My parents were killed in a crossfire between Outcast Sabre's and Liberty Defenders. Logs indicate that the shuttle was being escorted through Navy territory when a detour was necassary to avoid some Nomads (May they be blessed). This was a fatal mistake on the part of our pilot. The shuttle soon found itself in the middle of a pirate party, led by the Outcasts. A fight broke out, the Outcasts wanted our shuttle for some reason. Amid the flashing lights, and warning alerts, I witnessed sabre's and defender's alike being shot down. We were trying to leave the area, but ultimately to no avail. The attemps left our shuttle bereft of engines, well, useable engines, and minimal shielding, if any at all. Then a louder voice came through the comm system: "Excecute Gamma mach six, pilot. We cant win this!". The pilot looked at my parents then sealed the cockpit door. My father put me into a one person launch pod and sealed its hatch without another word. I felt a single jolt and then was unconcious. When I awoke all I saw was wreckage. Wings, guns, pilots exposed to dead space, pods, an....and the shuttle with a large hole blown into the side. Body parts littered the space around it. I was only six.

The Outcasts detected my lifesigns and beamed me into their cargo. After that I cried myself to sleep, in the dark confines of a strangers cargo hold.

Soon after, I was reviewed and examined by multiple businessmen accompanied by Medical officers, I was put into a sort of Foster Childcare System. The life wasn't like my previous one, it wasnt filled with luxury and anything I wanted on a wim. It was difficult to make a living. The Maltese Government took care of its citizens though. In spite of that, I was impressed to join the MNS. So I applied to the Academy and was accepted.

One day after all studies were completed and all sessions for simulations were ceased, I was doing some diagnostic checks on my Sabre when a fighter pilot of relatively impressive rank approached me. I had a feeling we had met before. He told me that he was the pilot who tractored my pod in that despairing day, so long ago. The information he gave me next was unbelievable and I felt a burning in my chest. The fight that led to my parents death was the result of a Navy Black Market Trade gone bad. The Outcasts had been sent to retrieve the cargo from the shuttle. It was destroyed by the Liberty Navy Defenders. Lasers didn't kill my parents. Outcasts didn't kill my parents. The government my father had slaved with all those years, had killed my parents. Rage filled my being, a longing to avenge my parents, to kill those who stood in my way of Liberty's destruction. Now, solely a Maltesian recruit, I would follow orders and ascend my rank to veterancy. All on a mission to protect my new parent: Malta.

After graduating from academy I was assigned a sabre with comm designation: Adain.Erylian. I wasn't incredibly noticable at first but after a while my tactics and flying skills improved to notability. I was able, later on in my thirties able to purchase a Falcatta. I went back to a sabre but still have thoughts of outfitting a Falcatta, once more.
