Trying to download the Freelancer game ISO file. It will take me 1 hour. Compare that to the Discovery file that took me 3 minutes.
This isn't good user experience, a solution should be found. I'm in the U.K.

if my experience is shared by others, then the OP should be revised to include whatever is the easiest and then fastest method.
We do not want to turn away new players with a poor download experience. Can someone please fix this? It'll do a lot of good.

I created the OP's download instructions to make the newcomer experience as good as possible. Long download times isn't something we can just ignore as a community, especially one wanting new players. Thanks in advance, I appreciate this is a pain to sort.
Edit: to put numbers behind this for emphasis, the YouTube videos (that I made for the FL ISO installation in the OP) analytics has had over 200 views in January so far

Barely anyone will play this on Apple. There seems to be some people who got it to work on Mac but it's not sure if the mod will work at all.
Certainly very little we can do to support you.
