Greetings employees......
It is my distinct pleasure to announce that I have finally received our shipment of new sidearms from Detroit Munitions. This is the first time you are hearing of this for a few reasons. Ageira has been working on a new line designed exclusively for us. Secrecy was necessary given the nature of these arms. I have been working with the head of Detroit's R&D Department for six months now on a superior replacement for our standard issue sidearms.
First off, I have funded this project entirely myself. I am extremely pleased with my promotion and wanted return the favor to our glorious corporation and it's employees.
All employees may report to Newark's armory to pick up your pistol and rifle tomorrow morning after 900hrs. The pistol is a RX-P48 plasma pistol with a capacity of 22 rounds and a maximum effective range of 150 meters. A selector switch allows 3 round bursts. Your new rifle is the WR-52 Tactical Assult rifle, or TAC-52 for short. It is a select fire rifle with a capacity of 100 rounds, firing .02 explosive projectiles with the shell damage equivelent to a 2oz. slug, and a maximum effective range of 400 meters. The selector switch allows semi-auto, 3 round burst, 5 round burst, or full auto fire.
As an additional security feature, all of these weapons are coded to allow only IND employees the ability to fire them.
I hope you will enjoy your new weapons. Monetary reimbursment will be denied, so don't bother trying.

Been a long time since I reported in, but when I heard my pay was going to hit for some cheeky weapon I just had to put in my two cents. Geez... Can I at least sell the gun to some poor dolt who won't be able use it?

At last, I'm finally cleared to leave the planet. That's the trouble with transporting scientists and their research, always a pile of red tape. At least I'm getting paid well for this run, and a quick one it is... straight to Perth Station for them Planetform boys. I've paid well for an advanced reconnaissance report and all looks clear. From there I have a contract to haul some toxic waste to LD-14 in Bretonnia, damn... I hate that stuff. But that is also lucrative, and at five times the going rate, I'm not one to complain.
Once this run is complete, I'll be looking foward to my vacation on Curacao. Mostly for my crew actually, they deserve a few days of sun and fun for all their hard work these last few months.
It actually feels good to be back in my cockpit again, those long hours back on Newark really burnt me out. Once the Curacao trip is over, I'll be back at my desk again, so expect me there in 6 days time.

Well, my load of robotic components has been delivered safely. I have a few hours of down time while my cargo bay is being loaded, so I decided to get something to eat. For a Navy base, their food isn't half bad. Maybe the cooks here could pass on their knowledge to them boys on the Missouri.
Anyway, I'm picking up 15 new prototype APC's to deliver to Police Plaza for them LPI boys on Manhattan. They seem to be fine vehicles with state of the art equipment on board, so I might just buy one for myself as well. I've taken quite a liking to these planetary vehicles and would love to add one to my collection.
I should be back on Newark within 3 hours to take care of some paperwork and then I'm off to the Taus. I have some friends on Planet Harris I need to talk to, so if anyone needs anything hauled that way, let me know... I can save you a trip.
On a sadder note, two of my cargo loaders were killed yesterday when an improperly secured crate of gold bullion shifted and crushed them both. What a way to go..... heh.
I need to hire two more loaders, so if anyone is interested, please contact my office on Newark so I can set up an interview. The going pay right now is 25,000 credits per week, with all expenses paid, plus a two week paid vacation on Curacao once per year.
Well, I'm off to check on the loading process and see if I can speed them boys up a little bit, after all....time is money.
