Layin low in Kusari for a while, heard of some activity in the Sigma's I am going to want to avoid, so I figured I would moor up here and check in on the offices, see how everything is going. Well, here I am back on Harris again, the place I love. With the aid of my friend's shuttle craft, I've been scouting out some possible locations for my future home and I think I've decided on settling on the far side of the planet in sector 6c. I am currently in negotiations for a substantial land purchase here and if all goes well, I'll be able to start building my estate soon.
When this deal finally closes, I will be away from Newark for a time to keep a close eye on construction, so I will temporarily move my office to Waterloo Station since it is much closer.
There is also a side matter regarding this deal that all IND executives need to know about, but this needs to be discussed via secure encrypted channels, so expect to hear from me soon regarding this.

It appears we have made some friends in the ESS Organization, I was told that IND has nothing to fear from them. A very nice gentleman told me that and I have no reason to doubt him. In other news, The Mourning.Dove has been spending quite a bit of time working with some fine Miners realizing that such organized ventures are quite profitable, we'll keep the Dove handy for further services. Currently, We have enjoyed the company of one Haiku, who I think today worked his way into a K.Train. I must say the logistical side of mining is fun and I plan to further it's organization. Let's see if we can't take a leadership roll in this new opportunity. Sound good?

As you have all no doubt been taking advantage of the respite afforded to us by the unfortunate slew of ion storm activity, I have noted that the mining operations have somewhat diminished as well there seems to have been an outflux of lawful activity in and around liberty. My second, Thomas, tells me it is similar in Kusari. I suspect this may be a seasonal thing, but I feel it's important that we take every opportunity to communicate and plan our ventures in a way befitting our status.
In other news, I've been keeping an interested eye on the workings of ship development, admittedly I have my own 'jewel' of an aspiration and much regard to those who have been working toward realization of some fine vessels. I do extend my kudos specifically to Zealot, who has kept things at a workable pace and kept my tail from the flames of those who might find my enthusiasm a bit grating.
An official welcome back to a certain fellow, who has been missed very much by this one. I find all sorts of odd quotes about this fellow... myths, I believed until I actually got to meet him. I must say, I'm very honored by all of the support and by the general lack of attitude, I've seen while out and about. Some may feel that we are over privledged, and they might be right, from their perspective... however I submit to you all... it's a difficult job but SOMEONE has got to do it. We just make it LOOK easy.

The day I have had. I swear you couldn't make it up. I started out in Omega 11, hoping to mine with a couple of Daumann miners we had hired. However the Red Hessians decided that plan was out, so I had to make a deal. Move some special cargo and they'd consider letting us mine.
Loaded up and ready to fly I flew out to Omega 7 and discovered a phalanx of the Rheinland Military. faking engine failure I tried for the Omega 3 gate and then I headed for the Omega 5 and finally I returned to Omega 11 and headed for Omega 5 that way. Rheinlanders at every jump, it was nasty. Once in Omega 5 I thought I was clear but alas no. Corsairs of the Black Sails variety. They weren't pleased with my cargo but I spun them some lines until I could get a Hessian to come and help me out. It worked, I ran. With them hanging on to my arse the whole way. Jumping into Cambridge I ran some more. Ran and ran. Made it to Cambridge and repaired, took some time but I finally undocked and made my way uneventfully to California where I was promptly stopped by one Svengali of the Lane Hackers, he tried to keep me talking whilst his goon squad arrived but I ran for Ontario and the station just inside the gate. There they kept me for well over an hour. Until we agreed on a price which I paid. I called in some help to allow me to leave unsullied and made my way back to California and whence to New York.
Once again fate and it's clutches were mean and I was hassled by a lovely Outcast by the name of Hayley something or other. I paid her the paltry sum she asked for and flew on.
Heading for Colorado and boom Xenos. I swear today was not my day. I must have annoyed someone in a previous life.
