Lag has gotten a little worse from FLHook. Yesterday and the day before, no lag at all. Today with FLHook installed its sometimes yellow and a few times its red.

I talked to others, everybody I asked had same symptoms from "ocasional" to "big" depends on what they were doing (missions [worse], PvP, just flying[minimal]) some 6-7 people... since the FLHook activation.
Also, somebody pointed out that FL doesn't like xfire (?!)
As for before activation of FLHook... I had just an ocasional yellow icon, not even noticeable in gameplay.

Xfire loves Freelancer.... I had it for a while... And just look at the numbers Wolf has in his Signature....
And I haven't been able to go on the server in a while, so I don't know much about the lag issues..... I hope to do so sometime this weekend.

FLHook unloaded. Seems that server load decreased immediately afterwards, so your reports are most probably correct.
I guess lag reduction is more important than additional features that FLHook provides, so I won't enable it anymore in recent future.
