I have tried it today, but I have no idea what to do :D
Read the wiki but it didnt help much
I have no idea how to get more dwarves, I have quite big fortress (or I think so) but still 7 dwarves. Also, I cant find some resources, some of them just are not anywhere.
Other than that I like it, but I completely suck at it :$

Yeah you wont find every resource every time. Immigrants start appearing after the first season, depending on the worth of your fortress. also sometimes dwarves make baby dwarves, but they're basically just annoying.

There is a LOT of ways to "lose it"
You can kill all your dwarves accidentaly by letting some water flow into your tunnels. Same thing with magma, but its even more dangerous, obviously.
Dwarves can starve of course, and go crazy and kill each other afterwards.
Goblins can siege you and destroy your lovely fortress.
And thats just a few of them. These are most common I think though.
I think the motto of the game is "Losing is fun", so yeah, be prepared for anything.

Well, my friend who had the game, didn't know you could lose.
Oh well, I might try this game. Seems quite good.
