Someone tell me this is a joke.
Both Kane, who founded the Phantoms, and I, who ran them the majority of their existence, do not ever want to see the Phantoms exist ever again. Most everyone who was a part of the Phantoms agrees.

And now, dear community, we have gotten to the turning point of the year.
Right now, we are going to see whether or not is it possible to revive old roleplay material for the sake of roleplay even without the original creators permission and even if they are opposed it.
In other words, now that Virus posted here and told us it is a no, if this will be implemented we will have the right to also dig up all of the old and currently non-active roleplay additions and request them as SRP.
MonStar, Yoda, LNS-Tundra, you name it.
In other words, this will decide whether or not the roleplay material you create belongs to you, or does it belongs to the Community.

Unless this is a solely Dev lead decision, I have good faith that the admins will see sense.

Thread title adjusted to make obvious what this is.
The only thing this is really going to have in common with the former faction is the name and the use of technology/bases, because lots of people cried about these things still being in the mod.
We wouldnt have asked the community for ideas if we wanted to bring them back in the way they were (and yes Virus, that would be your call, this is a call for a different concept that uses ships and bases of the old in order to give these things a use, so in my oppinion it really isnt something that needs your approval).

First idea: Rename the faction, ships and technology, so it will indeed look like an entirely different concept.
