How about a FL ID? That would allow any and all types of shady and non-shady affairs, while still allowing you to be loosely affiliated with various established groups.

Well, I picked up The Core ID for some... specific lines in fact, so... Can't do. And by "shady business" I meant rather deals with the Core, because normal BHG doesn't really experiment with Nomad tech. At all. I'm during rewriting the whole thing though.

So what lines are these?

Quote: - Can attack unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by the BHG core within their zone of influence.
- Can demand Alien Artifacts, Nomad equipment and Nomad remains from any ship within their zone of influence, and attack ships if they refuse to comply.
- Can attack Wild, Nomad and Order ships, and any equipped with Nomad equipment.

Their factual ZoI are Omicrons and Omega. The third line speaks nothing about it must be in ZOI though.

But you'll have a hard time finding said factions / equipment outside of the Omicrons (and Omegas in the case of Wilde). Just sayin', so you don't go through a lot of hassle to establish a faction that is barred from interaction.

Go for it though, if you think you're gonna find activity. You might, or you might be able to create some, but it also might become a bit frustrating after a while to look for action.

RE: The Veil - Fluffyball - 11-12-2014

Changed desc a bit. How do you find it now? It's still under construction, but... It's just the frame of all the desc.

Unfortunately I feel this faction is restricted by ID limitations. The BHG Core ID isn't just like a 'guard' ID. As far as I'm aware they don't have the jurisdiction to enter the houses and act as the ordinary BHG ID Allows. In fact, I'm not sure any ID has the full range required to complete all of the actions posted in the bio. If it were allowed I'd suggest creating divisions between the two IDs for the actions needed, but as is, the BHG Core lacks the ability to act in the houses as you need and the BHG lacks the ability to operate against the Nomads.

Hmm. What if you work with Core to create a FL group with very specific bounties on these individuals (noms and nomtech users)? If you aren't a huge big faction, and you aren't hardcore PVP'ers, such a small/exclusive board can't be super expensive to maintain. And on a FL ID you have more room for various activities. You can easily go with a Core ID, but I think you'll grow tired as interaction is scarce.

RE: The Veil - Omicron - 11-13-2014

More targets riding on my "mortal enemies" ID, how can I deny that?

Their ID doesn't state I can't fulfill bounties in the houses. As far as I understand, ZOI is only for their demands (because it is clearly stated in the two lines). The other lines do not require ZOI, like escort duties or bounties, because they do not state that is restricted by their ZOI. The Core ID works, as the bounty hunting is still available on that, like normal BHG inside the House space, this is why I picked up this ID. The Veil isn't The Core, they just use their ID.

As my friend asked at PM right now, yes, I think of The Veil like a hybrid between House BHG and Omicron The Core, because ID doesn't forbid being in the House Space. As I said before, it still acts like a BHG ID over there. I even asked Angels about that and they agreed.

RE: The Veil - SnakThree - 11-13-2014

Core ID can only claim bounties in their ZoI, as most of the other non-generic IDs.
