so.. does the placer of the bounty have to reveal his identity..? or can he be anonymous....
(even if you as the "bountied" one kill your "bountier"... it doesnt stop the bounty sufrely...)

I dont think you can ... but im not sure. And ive never had a bounty on my head, but im sorta new here , and dont cause much trouble. Im glad i didnt get bountied though , i suck at pvp >_>

As eddie (dead) I have put 2 bounties, none collected... which wasn't strange, considering at most, i offered 1 credit and some xeno pieces (a heart, a lung, 2m of intestine and something else).
As Dantrithor, my trader, wherever i saw a non RP'ing at all pirate, i put a bounty of 3-5M x 3-5 times claimable.
The other characters, no bounties put.
And for bounties on me... eddie had no bounties on him, at least nobody tried to claim any (real ones, not BH BS running towards me because i was an evil meanie). But my LSF Character, Mike Edwards, had at least one bounty placed on it, and a mercenary trying to claim it. He chased our LSF group for a few lanes, and waited till i dropped off the group, then engaged...
... Unfortunately for him, im a quick typer, and LSF mates were just a tradelane away, and he had to run away after some firefight.
