RE: Community input: Forum software switch - Nocturnia - 02-23-2015

My only problem with this software is that the text editing is absolutely horrible, I literally use another forum to write posts and copy them over here.
So yeah, I'd like another forum software, please.

If anything else, I have no objections.
If that's XenForo I'm very much in favour.

From what Alley said I am pretty sure the option on table is NodeBB. Am I right?

While I welcome all promotion I can get, current stable release for Misago has some annoying quirks that are waiting for next major release for fixes, and that one is months away at best, so I wouldn't pick it yet.

Good idea.

Guys, stop this hype train now. You all are pretty much just saying yes based on what one person has said with almost no evidence given. I have only seen one other person here actually question this and demand proof that this will work as intended as well as give us some control over the new software. You all should do the same before we end up with a train wreck of a forum.

Honestly I think it is just a testament to how much most people don't like the current forums

Instead it turned into a game of "Guess the software".

Go for it.

this. the forums have been less than stellar since the last change (especially with text editing and posting and stuff) let alone the strange lag when you click 'new reply'

Go for it.
