I'm sorry ? What ? You really think this has anything to do with that ? That makes you a very sad, and
rather bitter little individual if you are under that impression ... Words and respect fail me.

My sanction had to do with that, as you are aware, and that makes admins what?

But tell me, what's the reason to not define ZOI clearly, if not to have that fuzzy line that you can move about in the rules as you see fit?

Ok, asked this before and still no definitive answer. Will guard tags be required for GB? Working on my dessie but after reading this, and other, threads not sure about doing all that work for my GB.

Because it destroys the creative thought and freedom that defines RP. If it says on the ID that a LSF cannot leave Liberty, then they cannot fulfill their RP to the fullest. If we have on the Id every exact roleplay situation, your download will never end, because that can never be accounted for, as there is an unimaginable amount of roleplay events that may take place. If the admins do your thinking for you, Akumabito, then you will lose all ability to roleplay as you currently can, and if you think that you can't roleplay in a realistic sense because of some adverse reason, all I can say is whatever helps you get through the day, because that's all we can do...

EDIT:

It depends on what faction. Look the faction up on Kuraine's spreadsheet for a definitive answer.

Aware of Kuraine list, however is this for real? I mean, does this have Igiss blessing and will it be included in the mod?

maybe not final - but since kuraine is in charge of that part - it has the blessing - i m pretty sure.

No. Many (though not all) regular faction IDs still allow gunboats. Freelancer, Blood Dragon, Outcast, the various militaries, Corsair, Bounty Hunter (I think), etc. Some do not. Whether or not the regular Zoner ID should allow Zoners to use gunboats (since they're getting a gunboat which is available to everyone else, as well as being designed for exploration and light trading) is a debated topic.

Just checked both lists and I am frakking confused!!!!! Regular ID allows GB and under, but Guard ID also allows GB and up. What the heck is going on?!

But I also believe it should be harder to acquire a Guard ID. I see it as it may increase the seriousness of role play & hopefully curb the over abundance of cap whoring that is currently running rampant.

I somewhat disagree. Rules and regulation's don't necessarily curb capwhoring. They do however give that feeling that "I worked SO hard to get this Corsair cruiser! Now I'm gonna go kill every single LN because I proved myself by getting this!"

(Corsair is just an example, don't take it the wrong way.)

100% Agree. I really can't append to this.

My thoughts: I suppose that the guard ID is okay... I am sure that I don't know all of the difficulties behind the issue at hand, but as I've said before, as long as we don't need the "Faction Guard" Tag/IFF I'm fine with all this. Absolutely no need for the "Battle Music" to come on every time you pass a Liberty Dreadnought defending Manhattan.

Well, it wouldn't make much sense to let normal people use it, but keep it away from you elite, now does it? Just means both of them can use it.
