so that gives then the right to ignore us? Im pretty sure rep is an important part of the game and im sick and tired of members of even official factions asking in game who is AFC now when they are to be hostile.
As an official faction in the game, there should be attention given at least to mention what rep if not then neutral.
In this case though we are hostile. Red. Could be even at war.

I don't really know what's your problem... Some factions list the other ones after the first contact. Or do you think for example, a new Maquis faction would know their reputation with The Core, Hellfire Legion or so? "OH MY! My FACTION ISN'T ON THE LIST!! LET'S GO AND ACT LIKE A KID" attitude is meh, you could ask them politely after all, right?. I wouldn't give a damn about AFC untill the first contact, it's just my opinion though. It's all up to them.
You both could ask them politely, but I guess it would hurt your ego's. Because "Can I know what's your reputation with Hellfire/AFC?" or a kind reminder is waaaaay too nice in this community.

it's funny how you twist the conversation, shinju. I dont complain about such things but I am irritated that you stated that we can just be always simply ignored. That is all I have an issue with.
So please dont try to point fingures where they are not needed. It just causes more drama. Thanks.

Good luck, but in my opinion there's way too many Outcast/Cardamine friendly factions. It's like Zoners - everybody wants to do the RP "right", or vanilla style, so they make a faction, then somebody makes a unique, special sauce faction in reaction to that with the same ID, then people try to run back to cannon lore, left, right, left, right, constantly dodging around. This happens for roughly four faction types: Liberty lawful, Rogues, Zoners, Outcasts. Try doing something Corsair friendly - the alien artefact trade needs more RP, and being effectively the lord of the pirates and Catholicism is just as cool as drug induced transhumanism, and the ships are great.
Give the official faction some love. Scourge can be difficult to play with but he's a good guy inherently. If you're going to create a new faction that is compelling enough to survive for a long period of time, you need a new idea, or a new direction to take a faction that isn't dead. I'd rather see a Synth foods faction than a new OC faction. Synth foods is a blood sucking monopoly that has displaced millions of agricultural labourers and has the ability to hold the entire food production of houses to ransom - somebody should create them, it'd be great and would give LWB players and Farmer players huge boosts.
More outcasts is just more same same. Don't get me wrong, I still want to see you survive and get active. More activity is good whatever form it takes.

Why do you think it's acceptable to walk into a faction's feedback thread and recommend that they uproot everything and go off to play for an entirely different NPC faction instead? Should 5th Fleet have been advised to make a KNF faction instead to bolster activity in that region back when they made their first post?

Why? The official faction is, frankly, both terrible and undergoing an arguably deserved activity drought, and (IMHO) should be supplanted by a more vibrant, approachable, and lore-representative Outcast faction - should one crop up - as soon as possible.

That's a very cagey and diplomatic way of putting it. You shouldn't mince your words so much. Regardless, there is no onus on unofficial factions to work with their officials if they don't want to, particularly if the person they would have to go through is so 'difficult' to work with in the first place.
I don't know what happened to the Vesuvius Brigade (I guess it died?) but I am always happy to see new Outcast factions, even though, as a rule, I don't play OC since I have a distaste for the IDs ability to choke the life out of minor pirate factions. You might not be CL}, but you'll have my vote going forwards.

"Enough OC factions blah blah" still counts as feedback Omicega. It might not be the feedback desired about how to improve as an Outcast faction, but it is still feedback on the faction.

In what world does 'I think there are too many OC factions' construe feedback for this particular faction? I'd love to know your reasoning here, because 'you should probably switch NPC ID' is about as useful as a chocolate teapot when it comes to constructive criticism. I'm sure the players involved here would dearly love to shred any lore they've written up and migrate to playing a bunch of Synth corporate suits.
Furthermore, unless I'm missing something, there are no other OC factions other than Cross (which is not quite dead, but bleeding all over the floor with no ambulance in sight) and 72nd (which isn't really an OC faction, considering it just wants to make friends). I don't really see how the Maltese side of things is in any way oversubscribed at the minute, no matter which metric you use..
