Vesuvius Flotilla - Message Dump

On the 14th of October 823 A.S. at approximately 17:00 Sirius Median Time, the soldier operating the NC-Asaltante.3 has obtained a strange item upon receiving a cryptic message that had been broadcasted over the entirety of Liberty. With his curiosity sparked, he found an old and apparently abandoned storange depot in the Tahoe Ice Cloud in the California system. While it may have been unwise to dock and investigate, at least alone, that with was brought back from the depot might just have been worth the risk. Due to the nature of the cryptic message broadcasted beforehand, many petty criminals and even lawkeepers emerged, trying to apprehend Asaltante.3, yet the superior nature of our Maltese disposition made it impossible for these lesser creatures to best the pilot.

Arriving successfully at Alcatraz, the item was brought to Corsica for further study and it was soon revealed that this item seemed to be able to create temporary rifts in Einsteinian space, similar to jump drives, with the difference that this device seemed to be tailored to sustain the rift for a prolonged period of time. As it stands, we are unsure about the length of that time period, and thus advise caution in its usage. President Martelli has been informed and transferred the responsibility of handling this Jump Hole Generator, as we dubbed it. Currently, the item is being examined and catalogued for further study until there is nothing else to be gained from observation. The aim is to reliably replicate this device, as it could be a decisive factor in the future of our incursions into house space, yet as it stands, we are facing a lot of difficulties doing so, and any success has yet to be achieved. We believe that a the device has to be seen in action and thus I advised the President to couple this with a huge propaganda campaign, alleging that we are at the brink of creating this technology. As the current Administrator of the CID, I have ordered a field test of the device at 18:00 SMT in the Sigma-19 system in sector G4.

I'm here to reporting the encoutering with some Corsairs Battleships, happened yesterday in Omicron Tau. Initially I left the Valletta Shipyard directed to Omicron Tau, and after some minutes the trasponder of my ship has notified me a message from the "Moonwalker" vessel. He said to pay attention due to the presence of 2 dreadnaught and a cruiser. I've reached him as soon as possible, to the specified Sector. Actually there was 3 ships belongin to the CNS, in particular the CNS-Strife, the CNS-Zeus[Sky] and the CNS-Wawander. Initially we kept distance but showing our presence to the vessels; We have temporised to allow the arrival of reinforcements. Indeed, we have been contacted by MNS-Littorio, (C~Mediterran and "Terradelfuego" which reached us in few minutes. After some minutes of battle, unfortunately we've lost Littorio, but we were about to shoot Strife down. Oddly, at this point he decided to planet dive. The other two ships, after being beaten, have followed the same way. Unfortunately, during the battle I've lost my visual monitoring system, and all footage of the battle, but I've still the blackbox comms.

I'm here to reporting the encoutering with enemy vessels, an LNS,CR, Core and Firestalker vessels, happened few hours ago in Omicron Alpha, and immediately next, in O.Tau. About the first two I can't say really much, because I was still on Planet Malta when I've received the call. The battle happened mainly with MNS-Demolar, MNS-Holy.Cross and Jolly.Rogers. The pursuit brought them to Omicron Tau, and after destroying the LNS, the target has been set to the CR, but he's docked. In this moment I've reached my comrades to Genoa Base, and we've received a transponder signals by the unknown ships, next identified as a Core vessel, and a Firestalker repair ship. With all our units, we've started the hunt to Core|WV-Anassi. We've managed to bring down the hull health of the enemy vessel, relatively quickly. The final shot belongs to MNS-Holy.Cross, but we've done a good teamwork. After losing its contract, the Firestalker drone, after a not really long pursuit, has been shot down too.
