Herr Kanzler Reinhardt -

In your previous communication you have mentioned that gunboat class vessels are now allowed to operate in your territory. We applaud this decision on your office. However, as you can see here:

' Wrote:Terms and Agreements
For bounty collection, the following terms must be agreed to and fulfilled. Failure to comply by these terms will result in the forfeit of usual bounty compensation:
1. Bounties will only be valid when fulfilled from fighter class ships (LF, HF, VHF, SHF and Bombers);
1a. Any bounty attempt by a cruiser-class or higher will forfeit collection for violation of terms.
3. Any attempts at fraud will not only result in forfeit of collection, but also a ban from collection on any bounty within Rheinland Sovereignty.
4. Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Freelancer ID required for bounty collection.
5. Target must be destroyed within Rheinland Sovereignty.*
6. Valid proof of target destruction is required.

Rheinland Sovereignty can be defined as: Anywhere in the New Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Munich, Dresden, Braunschweig, or Halle systems.

Niklaus Reinhardt,
Kanzler der Rheinland

It would greatly be appreciated if clarification on line 1, or in the actual bounty descriptions, on whether or not gunships (as opposed to gunboats) can collect bounties for fighters and/or bomber targets. I would certainly expect to see the restriction on the Orca class gunboat such that it could only collect bounties on other gunboats or larger bountied vessels.

Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

I engaged a pair of LWB ships inside Stuttgart after meeting the bomber in New Berlin pirating Gateway)Trafalgar. The trader told me to hold, and I followed the LWB back to Stuttgart where an Eagle was pirating APM-Virgo. I engaged as the APM yelled encouragement. After a fierce battle, and a supernova hitting my shields, I dispatched the bomber with a well-placed supernova shot, then chased the Eagle some way before managing to supernova her thruster and destroy one of her mines on her. Good show.

Long-range scanners picked up a couple of LWB ships in the New Berlin system, so I launched in my bomber to check it out. They're predictable, that lot. Always pirate around the Bonn - Stuttgart Jump Gate lane. I found 'em, a pair of Eagles, and dispatched them with relative ease. A Gunship (Nostromo) offered to help, but I declined.

I discovered an RHA Very Heavy Fighter outside Brandenburg. Unfortunately, the RNC Donau, a Cruiser, was in the area and commanded by a rather ignorant captain. He drove the Hessian into the asteroid field and all the way to an LWB base, me hot on the tracks. The RHA seemed interesting in a fight between me and him, but the Cruiser would not let up, withdrawing when the installation's guns put a huge dent in his shields and bombarding it with light mortars from a distance.

It took an RM officer to finally call the idiot away, and the RHA came at me. In a fierce battle, shots were traded and I got the upper hand. However, some RM fighter named "Wenzel" something engaged the RHA despite the other RM (Viktor, I believe) telling him not to. My targeting computer malfunctioned at that point, and despite my warnings that I was shooting him and couldn't stop, the Wenzel kept at it until the Hessian destroyed him.

After all this, out of regens and desperate, the Hessian fled to Dresden where he flew circles around their rock, yelling to be let in, as I whittled his hull away and eventually destroyed him.

In Rheinland, the LWB surfaced again. There were three; one ran, and two stayed. An RM helped, but he got shot down. A short while later, I downed the first LWB, but after a brief engagement with the remaining ship, my Hammerhead was hit with a nuclear mine. While the mechanics assure me I should be able to survive one, it ripped my ship in half. Perhaps we should have this looked in to, as I'm rather sure it shouldn't do that.

Engaged two Landwrits (both Eagles) in New Berlin earlier with the help of the good officers of the RFP. They fought mostly with mines and missiles, and some fancy disruptor work (as well as a few of my own mines) lent to both their downfalls.

The Rheinland Military Bounty Office is closing. Bounties should be redirected to the RFP Bounty Board. I'm sure you'll be more than happy there.

Guten Morgen, meine Herren. Claiming a bounty, namely on the Wilde pilot Hammerschmidt. Target was piloting a Rheinwehr-issue Bergelmir-class bomber, modified with an alien weapons system.

Here're the Wilde's specs:

Here's the killshot, recorded on guncam:

Unfortunately, Hammerschmidt's two fellow Wilde contrived to escape into the Stuttgarter Ostnebel. My Manta isn't equipped with cruise disruptors, so I was forced to turn back. I'll dispatch 'em next time I manage to track 'em down.
