Dr. Erzie -

No doubt you've heard the incredible news - Finn has surfaced! He's alive, though from his comm to us and the Confederation, quite weak and recovering. Given the Ingenuus is ready, myself and the crew still aboard will be making haste to Kusari space to rendezvous with Finn and bring him aboard.

We will let you know as soon as he is on the Ingenuus, and we will coordinate bringing him back to Ames.

This is an exciting day, for all of us!

Director Erzie,

As you have no doubt heard the I've finally gotten the Aurora back up to flight ready status, we left Lividia earlier today and we'll be doing a tour of the Freeports to help update our hyperspace index to keep it current. We should meet up somewhere if you're agreeable. Its been some time since we've caught up.

Director Erzie,

Project Fracturam has progressed to a point where I believe that production on their Power Cores can begin. Given their long term support of our organization I wanted to have them by-pass the Application Process as the final use of the devices will be for our own gain and benefit of the research facilities aboard San Juan. That authorization still requires your approval, however.

Brandon Wright,
You proposal is perfectly acceptable and reasonable. I'll move the necessary personnel to assist in the timely completion of necessary assets. Any additional movements have my delegated authority at your disposal. Should you need anything else, personnel will be moved to assist you.
Let me know anything additional you require,
Dr. James Erzie
Director, Acting CEO

Director Erzie,

Two Power Cells were jumped earlier today from Ames Research Station to Corinth Research Station as per IRG Cell Application #1938684. Both cells were handed over to their respective ships. Delivery receipts were included below. Please remit payment for jump services in the amount of 4.5 million credits to IRG|Gryphon.

Erzie -

Curious what has transpired with the Corsairs? I have a message out to my old contact within the brotherhood to figure out their side, but want to make the same inquiry to you. I spent many hours and resources to ensure the IRG was safe with regards most of the organizations within the Omicrons, so this news is frustrating to see. Not pointing fingers, only gathering information on the situation at hand.

- Finn.

Finn,
Nice to see you up and about again, never unwelcome. The Corsairs, lovely topic. You know as well as I do they are unsavory to say the least. Months ago we had a run in where they stole a number of our Power Cells when one of our movers, with escort, had them demanded by Corsair capital vessels in lue of "broken laws" they could not produce evidence of, and rather than struggle with the stubborn animals I let our fail-safes do the heavy lifting, and abandoned their recovery, as they were unwilling to return 100% of the stolen property. I turned to acquire some new allies if things turned sour, but that's what I left it at. There is some suspicion of "under-the-table" work for recovery, as additional units have been accounted for without production, but I lack proof other than some marginal error in accountability, which could have easily occurred separately. Aside from that, Port Carthage was an installation built within the NCLE partnered with OSI to produce an economic hub around Freeport 11, and they joined in siege of it regardless of our clarifications, abandoning all reason. We turned to defend our assets, and it seems they were sour about one particular instance of destroying one of their ships, as well as relocation of three of their capital ships from the no-fire zone around the Freeport. They have no evidence of the latter other than my voice over public comms, which would not be substantial evidence in any reasonable court. Every action I've taken to prevent hostilities has been viewed as hostile action, and it is "unreasonable" for a group, such as ourselves to attempt to preserve our assets.

Director Erzie,

I wish to bring to your attention some troubling information. While taking routine surveys of the Alberta system to update our navigational records we discovered an impending Dark Matter Storm. Data indicates that the storm is over 122k across, well over 50k thick and is dense enough to hinder our equipment. I believe this storm poses a significant risk to Freeport 14 and other operations throughout the system. Given how often people really travel to the edge I believe that not even Liberty is aware of the situation. I would like to recommend I contact the Confederation to notify them about the risk to Freeport 14, and that you contact Liberty to inform them of the risk to the Alberta System as a whole.

Bandon Wright,

I'll notify them as soon as I can, you could save me some time and notify them yourself, as you are the expert in the field. I'm just slightly preoccupied at the moment.

Good day IRG staff-

No doubt many of you have seen this transmission sent out some time ago. We are saddened by these events, and will pour all necessary resources into this investigation.

With that said, and to repeat my statement in the comm above, I have decided I can not sit idly by as a consultant. Having already held an emergency meeting with IRG executive staff hours ago, effective immediately I will be returning as CEO of the Ingenuus Research Group.

I am glad to be returning, though of course I wish it was under better circumstances. I hope I can count on your support as we work to find Dr. Erzie, as well as advance the IRG and her projects moving forward.

There is another matter I wish to also call to your attention. With the increasing tensions with the Corsair Empire, I have begin talks with one of the Corsair Elders to see what can be salvaged. I know many of you distrust the Corsairs after some recent incidents, but we do not need more enemies. If we can prevent a war, we will do all in our power to do so. If such talks do not succeed, expect a followup announcement detailing plans to address such a threat.

Until then, I thank you for your support.
