anyway, banning trouble makers who cause inactivity to this server for years is a great decision.. good work admins and keep rocking on for better discovery.

Actually I don't think Karst was a trouble maker... He was contributing to server (mining stuff), Lyth was contributing as well, but not that much. Dunno about others, but I don't agree with such move.

Didn't you ask to get banned last time you were here? Are you insinuating that your turn is coming next?

The people banned were dedicated players that fueled official factions. We can only expect to see a drop in activity in the near and distant future.

RE: Vote "Change" - Zyliath - 06-30-2016

Jeez, what a commotion in here...Anyway, up to the following:

People who like to cause trouble/troll others/undermine the Community's stability (some examples) are to be sanctioned for what they have done, no matter which role they have.

These banned people are all Faction Leaders. Okay. You can find someone else within the affected faction to lead it until its leader appeals for the unbanning. I see no issue in it.

Always remember that here, like in real life, rules apply. You broke them? You get what you deserve.
And, from my view, it is about time to change. Time for new leaders to rise and take the place of the old ones, without forgetting what they did, and maybe continuing the path they carved.

Lyth, Impy, Swifty and the others broke the rules and got sanctioned.
Deal with it, and walk forward.

Good, I am done here. Have a nice day, everyone.

There is a severe lack of evidence for some of the people banned. How is it fair that they got banned for nothing?

They weren't just faction leaders. They were dedicated individuals that gave to the community with passion. They worked their asses off to develop factions, deepen roleplay and better the community. How can we substitute their dedication, their commitment and their skill? We can't. They're simply too valuable to the community.

Ah excellent I forgot that being a positive and happy individual in the community was against the rules. What kind of socialist ramble are you on about? These people have led factions for years, they know what they're on about. Throwing some new people on there will do nothing good, it will backtrack roleplay and harm the hard work they've poured into their factions.

Link me the thread where Impy broke the rules. Do it. I dare you.

I would very much like to see how would you react if you were banned w/o a proper reason/rule broken/evidence.

I learned from life, that disagreeing with someone's opinion, doesn't give me the right to disrespect him or her
You just crossed that line @Venkman .. maybe because your friends are banned? maybe because you are not responsible or brave enough yet to support the right decision when it touch someone you admire. I don't know, but what i am sure of, is that i will not return your disrespect back... fly away and have fun.

When most of these official faction leaders cause damage to this community for ages, then they are useless and YES, activity will increase when you remove the trouble makers.

Just a side note, this is your signature, not mine, so i think it's not me next, it's the troll who should act better according to his forum title.
Maybe they fueled official factions for some time, then turned to the worst meta-gaming players ever and caused damage resulted in the departure of tens of players from this server. The rest is just explained on my below quote which is from another thread about the same drama.

Mark Hamann Wrote:I never thought that this day will come, because it took a long time .. but i am surprised actually and can't believe it till this moment !
I have seen tens of players, and i mean tens of players leaving this beautiful and well organized community and game server because of some of these banned names. I, myself, left the server and requested by my own hands to be banned using @Xenon nickname because i was so angry from the admin team... Why i was angry? Simply because i kinda figured so easy that most of those banned players were trouble makers and i didn't have enough proofs so when i just imagine what are the amount of proofs that i can grab if i was an administrator here, i find that they will be a lot of proofs that i can find .. and that fact was making me angry thinking that the admins have some kind of reasons which i can't understand, forbidding them from banning such known and famous trouble makers.
Now, i am shocked! .. because what i thought will never happen, just happened and from my point of view, the discovery community and game server just removed a big barricade from it's way because that barricade was very sophisticated and complicated ...
The worst thing that can happen to an honest admin, is to deprive someone from playing. because honest admins care a lot about the work happened and still happening on this server, so rest assured that the admins are very annoyed by this decision BUT .. it was the right decision ladies and gents. I know some people will hate me for saying my point of view, but i won't blame them, because the truth always hurts and i am not that kind of people who decorate words so i gain your admiring ... no matter who you are, it's not in my personality to climb on someone to gain someone else satisfaction.

This is my opinion about the 2 nicknames you mentioned @Shinju - Quoted from another thread for the same drama.

I don't know your age actually but i was reading most of your debates and conversations on forums without commenting. Why? because i promised @King Boo when i returned back that i will stay away from any debate or argument on the forums specially when it includes those famous trouble makers, known to the entire server. I hope that you come back after 6 months better and with a new mindset full of fun and respect to others. Trust me it's not hard and it require some maturity, that's it.
