RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 09-28-2016 As Anna closed in to her and pulled her into the shaft, she didn't react. It was only in the moment that she actually realized that they were just a few meters away from the soldiers that she suddenly clenched her teeth and began to radiate fear. Sure, she was a hessian for a while now, but she hated fighting on the front. She turned her head over to Anna, who seemed to relish in the situation much more than she did. Her voice was only a whisper, not enough to alert the soldiers, but enough to convey that she was scared. "This is getting out of hand. Do you know how many workers they have killed? Only workers, not soldiers. They didn't even give them time to surrender!" RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 09-29-2016 She looked back at Nika These "men" are capitalist greedy people who won't hesitate to let other people die for their own gain. They own the government, they own all businesses in Rheinland. As seen here they've left these soldiers to die. At least the Military gives itself some dignity. I'd love to take prisoners and gain support but right now isn't quite the time for thi-. As she kept speaking one of the soldiers wandered towards the ventilation shaft. Her heart began to race. Fuck me. The soldier opened the shaft and saw them both, Anna shot the soldier, in that instance they all reacted and turned around towards them. MOVE BACK NOW! She shoved Nika back in the other direction towards the fan, Anna shot a few rounds down through the vent and they both fell down a good 10 feet. Putting themselves in the stations storage rooms. Which were surprisingly only partially filled. Someone definitely tipped off DHC about this, these rooms should be full. RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 09-29-2016 "You don't really believe that a simple worker that is trying to feed his family believes in capitalism much more than we do, do you? What do you think where we get most of our recruits? Murdering them is hardly doing them any good." She cursed, loudly. She'd hurt her wrist while falling. "Someone tipped them off? Shouldn't you, like, tell that to the Major?" RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 09-30-2016 She got up, blood was running down her nose and she had a bruise on her cheek. They all signed a deal with the devil when they took their jobs. Most of my job revolves around fighter combat anyways. However sometimes fear is the means to an end when it comes to gaining support and ridding the government of its infestation. She looked around some of the containers were filled to the brim with diamonds, others were filled with supplies. He's going to be displeased either way, and if he knows we're the first ones to discover this, who do you think hes going to accuse first? It's probably best we let the others find this and then well report it in. She looked around some more before trying to find an exit, she looked over and saw a way out to further into the eastern side of the station. Where the barracks, and where the main command center were. Well it looks like the only way we're getting out is by going through them. Stay close. RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 10-05-2016 "We're gonna have a talk about that later, when we're done here. Provided we survive this." Nika followed her friend, constantly checking behind them to see if they were followed. Turned out they were - within a few seconds she had to drop prone on the floor, behind a crate, and pulled Anna into cover just in time to prevent a few bolts of concentrated light pass over them. "Alright. You win. Do you have a gun to spare?" RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 10-05-2016 She reached behind her for a gun she picked up off of a Military that had been killed. It's a sidearm I picked up in the hangar bay. I don't know how much it has left before the clip runs too hot. Hang on. She threw her coat out in the open and instantly projectiles few by, in those few seconds Anna moved around to the other side of the box and shot one of the soldiers. She glanced over forwards looking too see if the other soldiers would emerge. She moved up to the edge of the box, turned and saw 2 soldiers looking dead at her. Time froze, she saw the soldier raise his gun, she grabbed his arm shoved it into the crate and shot him at point blank until the gun was empty. The other solder shot at her, Anna stood behind the dead body as cover, dropped it and moved towards the other soldier. Anna never kept a knife on her, but she always had some brass knuckles in her coat her father gave her for any "unkind" people on Vogtland. Fuck. She didn't have her coat on, she punched him in the face as hard as she could sending him back a bit, Annika still shooting other soldiers coming out from the door. The soldier pulled a knife from his belt and sent it into Anna's shoulder. She screamed out in pain for second before kicking him into the crate. She pulled out the knife and dove over for her coat and searched through it as the soldier got up again. As the Soldier lunged forward to stab Anna again, Anna turned around with the knuckles on and punched him square in forehead as hard as she could, killing him. The fire ceased for a second and Anna ran back with her coat to Annika. Blood was all over her shoulder, and she was breathing heavy. Alright lets... The door opened and a soldier walked through, his gun was empty, he stood about 6'6" and looked dead at Anna. Run... NOW. He hurled the gun at Anna and threw her into the crate before she could react. Anna laid on the floor bleeding and disoriented as he approached Annika. RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 10-05-2016 Everything suddenly was slow, like everyone was walking through water. Nika had to protect herself. She had to fire. The soldier neared her, but the moment she pressed the trigger it just clicked. Shit. Empty. A quick look over to Anna told her that the woman was in no condition to help her. She got up, collected herself, even managed to fake a tear rolling down her cheek. She needed to give Anna time to recover, to attack him from behind. There was no way she would be able to stand up to a trained soldier, but if she could delay him for a few seconds by looking fragile and worth protecting, her friend might have a chance to hit him in the back. She dropped the useless gun, pulled her arms to her body to look like a small target. Now please let Anna recover quick enough... RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 10-05-2016 Anna could barely open her eyes, she felt blood run down her fore head. Looking just a few inches from her she could see a sharp diamond the size of her hand. She grabbed it and got up moving towards the soldier. He turned back towards her and swung at her. Anna ducked down and sent the diamond through his ribcage. He leaned back on one of the crates trying to pull out the diamond as Anna moved towards him. He went to kick Anna in the stomach, she grabbed his leg and punched the joint in with the brass knuckles on. The soldier fell down and Anna punched his nose in once and he was done for. Anna leaned back on the crate completely out of breath. I feel like I'm reliving my days in schooling. My father told me having good looks was in a way -a curse-, for you it doesn't seem like that though, you're lucky he didn't kill you. They moved over towards the command center, the rooms were filled with dead Military soldiers. Hmm, this wasn't any ordinary fight there's only dead Military soldiers. The two looked into the next room and saw several Hessian soldiers. Only, their equipment was different as were the markings on their suits. They pointed their guns at the two for a second before realizing who they were. SOA agents. She whispered to Annika. RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 10-10-2016 "Can't rely on your curse when dealing with those, can you." Her comment was more rooted in her bitterness than it was in an actual distrust towards the SOA. Sure, they were creepy to her, and she usually avoided them, but they were Hessians, just as the both of them. Regardless of that, she assumed a more cautious, watchful position. Or at least what she thought to be that. Every part of her radiated that she hated being here at the moment, hated doing all this. She mustered the Agents in front of them, trying to evaluate what they were thinking - and asking herself what the hell they were doing here. The SOA usually never operated that close to home. Why were they aboard the station? Probably had something to do with the high military presence. Did that mean they'd known beforehand? RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 10-13-2016 She looked around the room and saw the men taking video records from the database. Someone tipped off Daumann and the Corsairs about this, I guess you're on to it. One of the soldiers looked back and grabbed Anna by the shoulder pushing her up against the wall. His mask eluded his face but Anna starred dead at him. How long have you known? He said in a serious tone, his hand was over his holstered pistol. My wing was in charge of getting the supplies to Vogtland for this operation, the Corsairs attacked us too close to Fretial to be a coincidence. Just now we fought our way past the Stations storage facilities and the diamond reserves were nearly gone. He dropped her and starred at her some more before speaking. Your mission's done here. Get back to the hangar bay for exfill, and by the way. This never happened. Anna and Annika walked out of the room. Anna felt like she had been hitten by a bus. She collapsed in the shuttle's seat and waited to return home. -Hours later- When she got back, she found a message waiting for her on her desk, the bottom was signed by the Brigadegeneral. She received her promotion to Hauptmann. She didn't bother to look at the reasoning, she didn't care. She laid back on her bed, crying. Thinking of what here father would've thought. Thinking of her past completely. The new position was a reward but she knew it would also become a huge burden. |
