I disagree with your point of view. I understand that this is an RP dilemma, but if that's your way of deciding on it, I think you are wrong, because of the reasons I provided. In any case, thank you for your elaboration. I will try to avoid NC- in the future.

It's only idiotic because it's filtering it out from rage instead of consistant and constructive feedback.

Maybe it's the people that's truly it.

How is it anyone's fault if all people do is just cry after dying in pvp then raging in someone's feedback? Most of the time, feedback threads are generally useless because of the lack of concern in ''feedbacks'' - it became more of a place to spread tears than to point things out

If somebody wants to rage and trash the thread, a template won't be stopping them.

Templates are a bad idea for feedback threads.

"I don't like your RP, can you explain it?"
[Insert response explaining it]
"Yea I'm just gonna avoid your RP."
. . .
"Why is my server dying?"

RE: NC- feedback - Traxit - 09-17-2016

Template or not, people can make their point across using a strict template or express themselves in their own words, both work perfectly fine. It all depends on the person if they'll even bother to use the template. And if they don't then the issue is probably not worth it to cause a crapstorm over the forums that leads to continuous one-liner replies. Suggest y'all stop whining about the template because it doesn't help, mainly because the "template" thing started as a "f u n n y m e m e l o l x D D D D"

tho sad to see that a (auxesian) meme has become reality

RE: NC- feedback - Black Widow - 09-17-2016

I like this thread = OP does not respond to feedback not in template format, and the feedbackers are giving feedback on eachother. They kinda fill NCs void.

Guaranteed if you post feedback in here someone will provide a response, even if they have nothing to do with it.

if someone's raging without reason and just spewing vitriol all over the place then it's quite likely their post will just get invis'd for causing drama down the line

to each their own on the template idea I suppose but I've never had an issue with the open nature of the [LN] feedback thread, and frankly ignoring feedback which is probably valid on the basis that someone didn't use the template is bordering on pedantism but oh well

I think Joe was actually the first to add a template to the Feedback and that was LN and it's still there.

And guess what, he wasn't enforcing it and the template was actually meant to help people who wanted to make a point to write it out more clearly.
It was never meant to filter stuff you want to reply to or not. I feel any feedback, template or not can be judged on the content and then responded to.
You might as well want to give all faction leaders an official template to reply to feedback since they hardly come up with proper replies, not specifically meant for NC but you know...
If a Faction feels the story is wrong and they for example did everything they could to have a good outcome, then they can share their point of view.

The templates these days are just act 'Hey I am better than you and you must do what I tell you'.
This stance has started to annoy me quite a bit recently and it's all over the community.
A lot of faction leaders have this attitude as if, because they 'lead' something they are suddenly better than anyone.

The above wasn't specifically meant for NC but you might as well take it to heart.
It's time to care less and be less of an elitist in the manner.

Describe the issue.
Please answer the following thread https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=165954
It's well over a week now.
Unless you care not...

If you were to propose a resolution/suggestion of change, what do you recommend?
