Definetely Discord.
Easier to manage Chats/channels, and also no bots hacking ur account and sending links. (at least so far)

Discord is a good alternative but I noticed it requires a way more stable mobile connection than Skype when using it on my phone.
So pretty much they both have their advantages and disadvantages for me and I will stick to having both. Dunno how it can be so much of a pain for some people to run 2 programs and quote from one to another and not just from one chat to another chat.

There really is no need for a poll. It's not like people will look at this and go "Oh wow, Discord is amazing, looks like I am heading there". People will use what they find comfortable. I personally find Discord rather pleasant to use and it fits my needs perfectly. I was always fine with using skype up until it was breaking beyond imagination (can't receive or send any type of file, link never embedding, quotes being invisible, etc). Now I barely use it because it became inconvenient, and Discord sat there being, by comparison, incredibly convenient and simple
However, I know a great many people find the opposite when it comes to Discord. Some finding it overwhelming compared to Skype's simplistic chat interface and mono-chat format. It's personal preference. People will use what they want to, you cannot change that; I'd suggest to stop trying.
