Sorry if it's considered metagaming :/ If that can make you feel better I still lost 3 cargo worth of Artifacts. Roughly 25M lost not including the profit. But I'll keep that in mind and not look at player list next time I smuggle. It's only going to add a bit of challenge and give me the chance to do more interactions. The player list probably isn't what got you busted for smuggling, even without looking at the player list some police/navy tend to know how to catch smugglers. One thing you might not know is that police can read your cargo hold even in another system if you are in house space and use a trade lane or jump gate. They have a lane net interface that allows them to see the cargo list on any ship that passes through a lane or gate. Lane hackers can use this as well. just FYI. So yeah even if you come through a gate/lane in Texas, police in New York or other Liberty systems can read your cargo list. (Pro tip: never use gates/lanes when smuggling) RE: Corsair / Outcast [TAG] Player_Name? - Teknishun - 01-12-2020 Woah that's sick to know! Thanks mates ! |
