RE: Dublin Republican Army | Feedback - Couden - 06-15-2020

To be honest you guys are cutting the many years of efforts between Molly and Coalition.

Anyway good luck

RE: Dublin Republican Army | Feedback - Reddy - 06-15-2020

nice to see a new molly faction and one that wants to be free of coalition, interesting

hope your words will be easier to understand than the previous molly faction

RE: Dublin Republican Army | Feedback - Groshyr - 06-15-2020

Couden, get lost. Coalition sucks, Mollys not. After several posts, I really liked that faction.

Judging by their comms going out, looks like they arent going for..That style.

Hope it all goes well for this faction!

I do wonder about the Coalition extension attached to Mull in Newcastle, though that system is not used much so I suppose it isnt much of an issue.

RE: Dublin Republican Army | Feedback - Groshyr - 06-15-2020

@Markam I want to believe that Molly has no centralized power and so the Mollys of Newcastle is a different cell with its own diplomacy and so on

Rudeness amazes me. Hopefully, this infection will not spread further.
You should understand when expressiveness turns into toxicity.

However, the concept seems interesting to me.

I'm surprised y'all are jumping straight to hostile with the friendly commies down south, but I do appreciate breaking up some of the overly large alliances in pursuit of a clear identity.

Looking forward to seeing where things go.

Personal opinion: Poole contains WEIRD STUFF from "Londonderry" which used to be the guard system. Naturally, there is no reason for this system to contain more Molly bases than Dublin. It should be moved to Dublin in one capacity or the other.

Fort Coleraine and Kilrea Orbital Station kind of make sense, as Mollys got no planet and have to host population in star cities. Arranmore Base also fills that niche and those two more or less duplicate it. Coleraine and Kilrea could be merged into Arranmore, making it more into GMG's Niigata Star City.

Foyle Shipyard is Foyle Shipyard, what can I say? Should also be in Dublin, I suppose.

Poole should contain a simple and small asteroid base if Mollys choose to raid the system. But the main and notable assets should be located in Dublin.

I don't quite know why exactly Mollys would want to have a base there, they are rebel separatist miners that want to take Dublin. It's not even piracy justification since Newcastle is an isolated system and even if jumpgate would be fixed it's still in the corner. I think Coalition could have Mull with the extension removed. Mollys spread all around Bretonia map is weird and they should be more localized and not being basically Bretonian LR.

Mainline Molly operations should be in systems that border Dublin directly and that can be used to support Dublin efforts. Leeds - New London - Poole - Exeter - Aquitaine.

They are moved to hostile so they know that we reserve right to open fire, just to avoid drama. As I said they will be a very low priority target. We want to distant from both "just local political opposition" and "just local pirate man" type of deal. Both are boring and there are better options to play such things in the same ZOI. The coalition can go for all Bretonia workers' right campaign, Gaias are green political opposition and Corsairs with Outcasts could fill the piracy niche.

Mollys have a very unique niche of local separatism, pretty much the only thing that can make them look actually interesting and outstanding compared to other local unlawfuls.

Everyone who wants to discuss why Coalition is good or bad can do so in Coalition feedback threads. This thread is about Mollys.

I was really keen on doing diplomacy in Bretonia, but both Gaians and Mollies were dead Sad

Then you came along and i was so excited, but well, wish you wanted to play along

Good luck with your faction

RE: Dublin Republican Army | Feedback - Vulkhard Muller - 06-15-2020

Nice to see a Molly group that isn't outright hostile to Gaians, perhaps You and Nemesis can do some work together, I can certainly see some common ground.
