I probably happen to have a couple on my ships because they were donated or left by leaving players, but funnily, I'm a capwhore and I haven't ever bought a CAU 8 myself.

It costs almost the double of the CAU VII for a small minimal health/resistances,
Maybe its worth for a high end PvPer, but for an average player having the CAU VII or the CAU VIII makes litle to no difference.
So nah, il never buy one haha

Edit: Why even compare numbers of CAU8s when CAU6s are cheaper and almost as useful.
