RE: The Gallic Union - Feedback & Misc - Lemon - 06-17-2021

Hogosha has the same issues actually
This is why house space was fixed

- you'd have "can enforce laws" in ID but then listed in which systems and where to enforce them in the actual laws.

You couldn't enforce laws outside the listed ones in Zoi even though your ID told you you can, because the laws you enforce themselves forbid you from enforcing them.

This was confusing to say the least, but as it is technically the way you wrote them Corse cannot enforce the laws as you lost who can in the actual laws

RE: The Gallic Union - Feedback & Misc - Lucas - 06-17-2021

You can enforce laws. Just don't be found out, literally. Or you do what any normal person on an RP server would do and actually roleplay your way into being able to enforce them without facing the proper roleplay consequences

RE: The Gallic Union - Feedback & Misc - SquigglyKey - 06-18-2021

I’ll just go ahead and put an orange stamp on this, the Union Corse would not be sanctioned for attempting to enforce an inrp law that their ID says they can do. Same goes for the Hogosha.

This does not exclude them from inRP consequences however and that would be something to be resolved by the players involved.

RE: Feedback (ooRP) - The Gallic Union - 11-27-2021

UPDATE NOTIFICATION & CHANGELOG

Today the Gallic Laws had been updated to become simpler and easier to understand. We returned to the traditional Gallic lily, as the familiar for many symbol of this state. We hope this change will make playing in Gallia more entertaining, and with ongoing deployment of simplified and compiled to only really important matters lore - involving in Gallia easier. Related to laws threads will be updated within 2 days, and after - the mission board will be opened once again.

Feel free to provide us with your feedback, but as its said in the original post - in polite manner.
  1. In §1.1 we have defined what Gallic territories are, and in §1.2. - what Gallic Lawful responsibilities and what other legalised on degree enough to entrust them such task can do to help Gallic Union with keeping stability and order. The Unione Corse now can legally, within RP, enforce Gallic Laws in Provence, using their piracy line to demand contraband and issue fines.

  2. The link in §1.6 will hold the official state diplomacy to be followed by Lawful forces, the page will also briefly describe why such reputation set and sometimes - how to deal with the faction if encounter.

  3. The Licensed Cargo and Contraband were renamed to Restricted and Forbidden Cargo respectively, their list is reduced and is represented with a single sheet in §2.2, with penalties sheet based on cargo units carried as per §2.3. This should bring more dynamic encounters, where players have no need to hold laws page opened to check if oxygen is forbidden in this house or not.

  4. §2.4 describes why Slaves were moved from Forbidden to Restricted, but only long-trusted organizations and individuals can apply to such permit of assistance to the Union's endeavour.

  5. No longer restrictions on Gallic Civilian Ships, Armored Tansport, Battletransport and Liner including.

  6. As per §3.1, its now possible to request permission of use the Z-line ships (Generic pirate shipline) if you are friendly enough with the authorities.

  7. §3.2 has much shorter definition of forbidden technologies, removing any tech belonging to Gallic enemies but operated by law-obedience neutrals, unless told otherwise in §3.1.

  8. Military Salvage mining limitation explained in §4.1, because it seems many people didn't even know about the Treaty of Rishiri has taken action long ago.

  9. For the sake of experiment we have completely removed monthly/yearly fee for POBs in §5.1, its now just a one-time registration fee.

  10. §5.4 as alternative to siege justification based on expired 'taxation'.

  11. §5.5 defines how much time must pass between warning about violation and siege of a POB if warning was ignored for the duration of this period.

RE: Feedback (ooRP) - The Gallic Union - 12-27-2021

This is a reminder that there is an official Gallic Lawful Discord run by the Government where a lawful faction can deploy their channels. The purpose of this Discord is to unite all lawful playerbase possible, coordinate players and bring more activity to the House.
