The Cruiser Taskforce missed the scheduled check in at Falkland base, and have been declared MIA. Command has decided on not sending search parties for the taskforce, deeming it too dangerous to risk additional personnel. In favor of planning the next action of Operation Long Shadow. To avenge those we left behind.

After the battle concluded only Maltese fighters and bombers remained. No longer retaining fuel nor spoils to continue the return to planet Malta, the survivors turn back to Cali base to report what had transpired. After being thanked for reporting reporting the intel of Crayterian movement into the deeper Taus, they were severely punished for losing so many brethren to mere Crayterians. Along with the lost commodities.
